Ah. Haven't really seen many. I figured an animal nose would more or less be a triangular shaped black dot - or pink.

Yes, that's what Zephyr's nose looks like, a black upsidedown triangle. It just didn't look right for my cosplay :p

on my way home from work today I saw a pair of shoes under a bench they had no laces I thought why would someone leave a pair of shoes but keep the laces to hang themselves. . .

That's an interesting though. Maybe it was a mateiral consciencous homelesss person who needed laces but decided to leave the boots themselves for someone else? Or maybe mystery person is keeping the laces so no one else gets the idea to hang themselves with them.
Even weirder if it had been one shoe. |
maybe some left the shoes and the laces but then someone walked by and saw them and thought they needed the laces but not the shoes.

That's always a possibility. Laces can be used for a lot of stuff, shoes are just shoes and can be used without the laces if need be too. So maybe someone just needed the laces but not the shoes like Quiet said...

There's a corner on my university busroute around the hippy end of town where people just leave stuff. It seems to be a communal thing since the items change all the time.

I use newpapers to pack things and start fires but that's about it. Oh, and I do read them on occasion. Contemplating how one would manage to pull off laces...twist up teeny strips and braid them together?

Also, I agree with the hating using noses idea. none of them work for me. most of them aren't even made to match this skin tone, since I'm the only regularly active person who uses it. there's a couple people who pop in now and again who also use the mocha skin tone, but I don't see it a lot at all. |
I like using a darker than white skin tone but not usually as dark as yours Lucid. The skin tones I used in my entries on the avatar contest is the shade I use for most of my online avatars. Well for games, I don't go to any other avatar sites ^^;

This is the first avatar site I've encounterd. Don't really plan on going to any others really. This is just fine for my purposes. :)

I do like that skin tone you use, Serra. if I ever want/need to look lighter for whatever reason, I use that one. I think one of my mules might be that skin tone, I don't actually remember because I haven't been on her in a while.

I've played with the Gaia dream avatar creator but I never actually went there. I like it here A LOT and I don't really want to try to find another place, because another place probably won't have all these wonderful people! -looks at stalk list fondly-

I'm also pretty white, though I tan well at least. I just love this color of skin on Trisphee.
and Gaia's dream avatar creator is nothing like Gaia's actual layering. the dream avi creator can do layering that doesn't work on Gaia and it's super disappointing. |
Just as well that I never went there then :p It's been a while since I've been in the sun much but I remember burning easily, not tanning. So whenever I used to go outside I'd go a bit crazy with the suntan lotion XD Several years ago I had a major burn because I had put lotion on in the morning, but forgot to redo it when I changed to a swimsuit D:

I like the skin tone too. I tend to stick with lighter stuff though because that usually matches the colour scheme I'm running with, and I'm pretty much white myself. Well, not "pretty much," is.

I like how light clothes contrast with this skin tone. :3
I rarely use sunscreen when I go outside because I just tan. sometimes my cheeks or ears will get a little red. but it's not common. I'm really lucky and inherited my mom's skin. my dad turns red SUPER easily. |
So jealous of you Lucid o.o I got from white to red unless it's a period of a month of one hour or less outside every day. And even then...

I go straight back to white. I mean, I guess I look okay like this but the burning if I'm outside more than an hour is kind of a pain :/
