I neglected my body for most of my life because I hated it pretty hardcore, so now I am dealing with a lot of injuries and problems that I wish I had dealt with a decade ago when I first had symptoms.

i neglected mine because it worked and worked hard. every time i thought i needed to take care of it toxic masculinity reared it's ugly hateful head and pushed down the worry. you'd be surprised(though maybe not as much) if you knew how much blood i have shrugged off in my youth
my motherinlaw sometimes calls me and wakes me up because she becomes afraid i've just expired from all the junk wrong with me XD it's actually the galactic tarnish filter and collection of metal fade doing that. the skies are waaay flatter and brighter |
I don't even have toxic masculinity to blame, I just never felt taking care of my body was necessary. I do hope that you're learning to take care of yourself now though.
