Well, I've heard about such things from shows and books, too. I only go to the library when I'm forced. Got my own library, with nice clean books. Don't need the public one!

yeah, thanks for the prompt, Den..... the site was 'updated' in 2014, and sometime in the first few days of january 2015, it went down and was gone forever. *sigh*

All just because the mods had their hands tied and offered to buy the site in order to do changes they thought would be good for the site.

i didn't know the mods offered to buy the site. i just figured the owner didn't like the suggested changes, so he took down his toy and went home.

They had originally approached with suggestions for changes and got a flat out no to basically everything they suggested, and as far as I know the owner wasn't doing any more work on the site either. Then they approached him about buying it which is when he did that. He basically said 'If I can't have everything %100 how I want it, then no one can have it'.

yeah, that sounds like that owner. *sigh*
