when I was watching Phineas & Ferb, there was an internet safety commercial where, at the end, Phineas said "And remember to get off the computer and go out and play, because nothing beats hanging out with real friends." and I shouted at the TV, "ALL MY REAL FRIENDS ARE ONLINE!"
I think it's the only time Phineas has ever been wrong.

LOL! That is so true! Most of my rl friends are always out of town or busy with work during the weekends that it's so difficult to get a hold of them. While online, there's usually two or more swimming about.

I stopped talking to most of my real-life friends when I ditched high school and took community college classes. not on purpose, but they grew closer being together at school all the time and I grew farther away, almost never seeing them. but I get along with people online better anyway. besides, it's a lot more fun to have such a diverse range of friends of different ages and places of residence.
