Im not to into web comics ^^ยด i like holding books. Im weird like that
I read them, and then I buy hard copies of the ones I like so I can read them anywhere and again and again. :) How I wound up hooked on 'Delilah Dirk' and 'Runners 'Verse'.
...You might like that latter, Natsu. It's more SW-sy than LoTR-sy, but still very good. And hilarious in places, and sad in places, and cheesy great in others.

There's only been two webcomics that I've wanted physical copies of... one's Skullkickers, the other's one that may be a bit controversial due to the subject matter, but I recommend it to friends regularly. I'll give people the link over PM, but only if they're 18 or older.

...Heirs of Alexandria are a thing...where essentially magic was discovered in the Library of Alexandria...
...Temeraire Series, where Dragons exist in a rather accurate alternative history of the Napoleonic War, and are as big as ships (with crews and black powder).
...Oh! If you are okay with Mercedes Lackey style works, there's the Dragon Jousters! Sort of a reimagining of Atlantis and Egypt where there are Egyptian-style gods, avatars, (dragons, of course), and soul-magic able to control nature.
...Or the Sovereign Stone Trilogy...which essentially has ent-hobbits, undead magic, avatar magic, elemental dragons, Warpspawn, dwarf horsemen, and a nation of sailing Orcs.
...Not sure about Acorna's World or the Elvenbane series...the former is Anne McCathy (who like George Orwell can be a tad...off at times) and the latter has Author Existence Failure (she died on the third/fourth book)

...I am the very model of a modern major dragoness, with minerology, astronomy, plant biology, and historical mythics,
Of the late Antiquity and Renaissance art to modern mess,
I've studied modern calculus and elements of quantum particles,
I've memorized the names of rock-time eras and meteorologicals. xD
I am the very model of a modern Major-General,
I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical
From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical;
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical,
I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical,
About binomial theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news,
With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse.
I'm very good at integral and differential calculus;
I know the scientific names of beings animalculous:
In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General.
I know our mythic history, King Arthur's and Sir Caradoc's;
I answer hard acrostics, I've a pretty taste for paradox,
I quote in elegiacs all the crimes of Heliogabalus,
In conics I can floor peculiarities parabolous;
I can tell undoubted Raphaels from Gerard Dows and Zoffanies,
I know the croaking chorus from The Frogs of Aristophanes!
Then I can hum a fugue of which I've heard the music's din afore,
And whistle all the airs from that infernal nonsense Pinafore.
Then I can write a washing bill in Babylonic cuneiform,
And tell you ev'ry detail of Caractacus's uniform:
In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General.
In fact, when I know what is meant by "mamelon" and "ravelin",
When I can tell at sight a Mauser rifle from a Javelin,
When such affairs as sorties and surprises I'm more wary at,
And when I know precisely what is meant by "commissariat"
When I have learnt what progress has been made in modern gunnery,
When I know more of tactics than a novice in a nunnery
In short, when I've a smattering of elemental strategy
You'll say a better Major-General has never sat a gee.
For my military knowledge, though I'm plucky and adventury,
Has only been brought down to the beginning of the century;
But still, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General.

Well, it kinda sounds like rap to me xD
