Ohh tilted. Someone told me that "tilted" was a way to describe how when something bad happens, the person gets frustrated (really frustrated). And people don't like that because frustration makes stuff harder (like playing a racing game --> you lose and get mad (tilted) --> you don't want to be tilted because your playing's going to be affected).

oh, ok, that makes sense XD

i feel super hella old now XD i remember when that used to be 'twisted' and even 'getting bent up' hahahaha

Potironette 01-25-2017 11:02 PM

Oh wow, there was a word for it before too xD. I didn't actually know tilted was a thing until a week or three ago.

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 11:05 PM

i am on the cutting edge of uninformed then? X''D

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 11:08 PM

Ugh. New slang. I am so glad none of my friends are young or "trendy" enough to keep up with it because it's getting impossible to keep up.

littl3chocobo 01-25-2017 11:10 PM

sadly i feel the same even though i know it really is not so hahaha, when i was a kid i just instinctively picked everything up as it came, hahaha

Potironette 01-25-2017 11:17 PM

Lol xD. Being a kid I don't really use any slang (as far as I can tell). But I'm amused when people around me use it--slang sounds funny

Kaderin Triste 01-25-2017 11:31 PM

Honestly, even as a kid, I hated most of the slang.

Moonshadow 01-25-2017 11:46 PM

I hate slang! One of the worst ever is: bae
ugh!

Potironette 01-26-2017 12:38 AM

Bae. I wouldn't say it because I find it cringe worthy but it's cute when other people say it xD

Moonshadow 01-26-2017 12:50 AM

I have a friend that uses it and I joked that I could put it in a sentence. I can't remember but the sentence was pretty funny and he took it well hahaha

Kaderin Triste 01-26-2017 12:52 AM

Oh gosh... Bae is definitely gag-worthy in my book.

littl3chocobo 01-26-2017 09:42 AM

i also have a bae friend though they are big in korean pop music soooo i think it's more of going along with the territory than just liking a weird bastardization of a word XD

Kaderin Triste 01-26-2017 01:16 PM

Actually, I was informed once that "bae" is supposed to stand for "before all else" or some shit like that. So like calling someone bae means that they are more important to you than everyone else I guess?
Either way, still gag-worthy.

Anyone ever calls me bae, they're getting punched.

littl3chocobo 01-26-2017 02:01 PM

that is not even close to what i have heard and seen it used as. it's like 'baby' but in a boyfriend/girlfriend kind of way XD
