Ah. Well, I hate my job and I'm still recovering from the holiday weekend (I'm an extreme introvert with a large family), so it's hard to stay motivated and focused.

littl3chocobo 12-28-2016 07:37 PM

well do be careful, most businesses have to start tightening their belts come january

you are welcome ^^

Kaderin Triste 12-28-2016 07:41 PM

Nah. The place I work for isn't so bad as all that. So long as I look busy and get the main cleaning done, mu boss doesn't even notice.

littl3chocobo 12-28-2016 07:42 PM

wow, that is kinda crazy. of course what do i know? XD i am one of those awful unemployed peeps

Kaderin Triste 12-28-2016 07:48 PM

I'm a custodian for a non-profit so my hours are shit, the job sucks, and the pay is barely worth it.
But if I were jobless, I'd be homeless so it's slightly better than that. And my job is fairly flexible with my work shift so long as, unless it's approved by my "supervisor", I don't exceed 20 hours per week.
But hopefully soon I will find a better job. XP
One where I'm not steadily sinking deeper into debt buy buying cat food and groceries.
Ugh...sorry for the kind of ranty stuff...

littl3chocobo 12-28-2016 07:58 PM

dude, this is totally a safe place for ranting

Kitarun 12-28-2016 08:01 PM

*nuzzles Kad*
Rants are fun to listen to!

Kaderin Triste 12-28-2016 08:03 PM

I'm just full of a lot of frustration right now. The holidays cost more money than I had anticipated and I wasn't gifted any useful money, so I am stressing over debt that I need to not worry so much about probably.
XP
And I don't have a car, which makes getting to the bank to deposit my paycheck before my rent is due a pain.

Kitarun 12-28-2016 08:11 PM

Ugh, that sucks... *snuggles*
Online banking/cheque deposit? I know some banks offer that nowadays..?

Kaderin Triste 12-28-2016 08:18 PM

Nope. Mine is a local credit union so they don't have that. It's normally not a problem, but it's too snowy and icy for me to ride my bike. But if I can remember, I can walk down at take care of the check deposit before work tomorrow.
Won't help my debt any, but at least I'll keep my apartment for another month.

Kitarun 12-28-2016 08:24 PM

Woo, yay for keeping the appartment!

Kaderin Triste 12-28-2016 08:27 PM

At this point, that's the important part. And I plan to figure out a time, soon, to get over and apply for foodstamps, which should help a lot too. And if I can find the nearest food bank, maybe I can get some stuff there soon.

littl3chocobo 12-28-2016 08:49 PM

sorry, i got lost XD i found my way back though!

jeez, that sounds like a lot of issue for almost no return. why doesn't your credit union have direct deposit? my mom has one and it lets her do that

Kaderin Triste 12-28-2016 08:57 PM

Because I live in Montana and we're.like 5 years behind everyone im progress They just haven't gotten there yet. Until a few years ago, the one I bank at was pretty small, so I guess they didn't feel the need to be so high-tech?

littl3chocobo 12-28-2016 09:00 PM

XD i've only read about off-handed comments alluding to montana. it's a big plains with nothing but sun and grass except for the smattering of cows and mountains of course XD

Kitarun 12-28-2016 09:03 PM
