Remember the thief and the cobbler? That is based off one of them too I believe and Aladdin drew inspiration from that and then they drew inspiration from Aladdin.

No thief and the cobbler was made in the 60s that is how they got Vincent price to do the voice of Zig Zag, however production stopped and it was repicked up in the 90s, and yes the disney version.
