though i have(to my knowledge) never had anyone try to do the change thing, of course being very slow and carefully counting things out every single time is probs a good deterrent?

Yea I count like 5 times before handing change over or putting it in the register

nice XD i manually touche each bill and coin and tally up out loud. i usually got gripes about the speed but hardly ever had any issue with the wrong amount ending up in the drawer(barring peeps trying to get change out of line)

Some guy yesterday tried pulling a fast one on me
His total was $2.16
And he paid $5.11
So I gave him his change $2.95
And he was like. "No. This should be $3.05
Uhhhh no? You subtract the 2.16 from the 5.11 not the other way around e.e people trying to make me seem like an idiot.

But it's not a problem where I work. We have cameras plus our cash register system is very high tech and its pretty much impossible to fool.
