I've had an 11 hour drive before. Not that fun.

I was alone, though, so, possibly better or worse, depending on perspectives. :P

Long drives suck. Especially if youre a tall person stuck in the backseat... Even more if the vehicle is a VW beetle... No headspace.

That's a lot :o! I didn't know there were that many kinds of scissors in the world. And I didn't know that pasta machines existed XD.

The only art type things I have are lots of cloth, ribbons, and incomplete sets of colored pencils and markers.

That's surprising, since reading on the bus makes me bus sick, I've never tried to read on a car.

carsickness comes from one of two issues, the car is moving too much and the scenery is still or the car does not move nearly enough and the scenery too much, for the latter a book works great for the former it at least distracts
