The wells ran dry and the people left. What was once a boom town became a ghost town.

"It just wasn't there," he replied back, while sliding the rim of his western cowboy hat over his eyes. He leaned back against the saloon, but even that collsaped under the weight of cold emptiness.

And they rode off, into the sunset. Devai's people were now lost in the chaos that had befallen them, and none of those settling from Quesaria and Kalin could understand beyond the urge to leave. And so, as the town burned in the fires of Anarchy, they left. Funkduder, the Spirit, and the rest of the crew who bravely worked until the grey morning in which they returned.
