After fifteen minutes Kyoshi finished the chapter that they had been asked to read for the day after "Wow that's insulting" he say shaking his head "It wasn't overly hard to understand it" he say turning the page of his notebook to start his essay "I doubt that it's cancelled, we wouldn't be that lucky and there would have been a note on the door" he continued to writing until a second bell rang and people walking in shortly after.

Seeing the teacher walking in he closed his textbook and placed it into his book bag along with his notebook for English, bringing out a new one for math. the teacher looking at him and Ryou for a moment "That is what I like to see, diligent students" he say before going over what they would be covering in the semester.

Kyoshi looked down hearing the teachers words "Just what we needed to be the center of attention" he whisper his hands gripping his pencil tighter to the point it almost snapped but released the pressure, and took the notes

"Don't worry about it." Ryou said calmly, writing down the notes and marking criteria. He rested his other hand on Kyoshi's back. He hadn't realized he'd done that, it just sort of happened. When he noticed, he pulled back to the usual resting place. He also wondered why Kyoshi's hair was that colour. Often thinking he'd somehow dyed it that way. He wondered why. He hadn't cared for the attention either, figuring something was amiss with the reason everyone else was nearly late.

Kyoshi looked to him and smiled faintly as he continued taking his notes "It's a new sensation being in a school filled with people who are wealthy, I don't want attention if I can help it" he whisper, though blinked feeling the others hand on his shoulder 'what's with all the physical contact?' he thought to himself but dismissed it as just support.

He brought his hand up as he yawned quietly, which drew the teachers attention "I'm sorry Kyoshi am I boring you?" he would ask in a calm yet stern tone, Kyoshi shook his head "No sir, not enough oxygen getting to my brain, that and I haven't had enough sugar" he would confess, the teacher looked at him in surprise as he answered quickly "Sugar?" the teacher replied

Kyoshi nodded his head "Sugar stimulates the mind, I get extremely tired if I do not have enough sugar..." he say continuing to write the notes "As I am not accustomed to the warning lunch bell I did not finish my lunch and thus have not got enough sugar in my system so I am feeling tired" he finish looking up from his notebook making eye contact with the teacher so he knew he wasn't lying

The teacher pondered for a moment before looking at his register that held who got what on the math assignment and seen his score was perfect "Kyoshi, if you have something sweet to eat then I suggest you do so... just do not disturb my class" he would say before going back to his lessons. Kyoshi blinked in surprise "what just happened?" he mumbled

Ryou smiled at him. "you just got the ability to eat in a class. Well done." He said as he finished his assignment after finishing a snack of his own and handed it in. He did somehow find the class a bit boring but wouldn't show it. He would try and touch Kyoshi as often as he could even if it held no meaning. He was a generally touchy person and sometimes could be clingy. This is why he said he'd visit the cafe often too. "I'm done too" he spoke when he was called upon after raising his hand properly instead of speaking out.

Kyoshi blinked for a moment in disbelief but went into his bag and took out the half chocolate bar he still had from lunch taking a piece he placed it in his mouth and continued working feeling the sugar kicking in quickly getting the work finished about the same time as Ryou and placed his hand up too waiting till he was given permission to speak he lowered his hand "Finished" he say after finishing what he had in his mouth

The teacher looked at them both in surprise as even as the problems they had been given where those of a collage level and was suppose to take them until the following class but they had finished them in little under twenty five minutes into the class. Moving to there desks he took the papers and graded them right there and then his eyes going wide as he seen they where both perfect.

"Boys did you share information" he would ask looking to the two, Kyoshi looked at him and shook his head "No, that be cheating and does no one any good" he say quickly and honestly "Like I said sir, sugar stimulates the mind" he say respectfully before placing more of the chocolate into his mouth pointing to Ryou's box of mochi "Well it seems I will have to give you two something harder, we wouldn't want you to feel under stimulated" he say with a bright smile "However I have nothing of that level prepared today so you both are dismissed... Either go to the libary and study or head to your rooms until next class" he say moving back to the front of the class.

Kyoshi blinked 'seriously?' he thought to himself but placed his chocolate bar away with his notebook, but put his hand up waiting for permission to be given before speaking "What about our textbooks?" he ask respectfully "Just leave them behind I'll have new ones for you both tomorrow" he say going to another boy who was having trouble. Listening to the answer he placed his book bag on his shoulder and took the text book to the teachers desk before heading out the class waiting for Ryou so they could decide where they where going

Ryou did as Kyoshi did, handing in the book that was really too easy for their level. He followed suite, eating as he wandered to the hall. "what do we have next?" He whispered. That way they could get ready for that as well. He wondered if they should go to the library or their dorm or where. "the roof?" They could finish what was left of their previous homework for the other classes. Unless of course they were caught up there or something. He wondered if they'd have time for the cafe. "how much time is left. think there's enough time for the cafe or something off campus?"

Kyoshi looked to him "We where told the dorm or libary" he say when he heard Ryou mention the roof but his eyes went wide as he suggested going to the cafe "Are you insane?" he exclaimed "we have enough time to get there spend 45 minutes and be back in time for the end of breaks, but if we are caught do you have any idea how much trouble we would be in?" he say moving down the corridor but stopped suddenly "Perhaps the roof would be a good idea... sunlight is a natural anti depressant and also being outside helps with oxygen for the mind" he thought about it logically and turned for the stairwell to the roof "Perhaps we can place a request for having time up here to study" he say thoughtfully "It's peaceful and no one would bother us"

Ryou nodded. "If we get caught how about requesting it then, but if not we do that anyway. It's a good spot. At my old school we used to hang out on the roof whenever we could." He still had some mochi left, offering Kyoshi another before he rewrote his essay by hand and a lot neater now as he had the time to do this. It took a whole hour to do it neatly but it was finished. He was now reading the pages required for the class. He jotted down things he though were important, stopping 10 minutes before their next class. "what do we have next now? There's 10 minutes left."

Kyoshi sat down in the area he had at lunch and continued his essay with neat handwriting his hand taking the mochi that was offered placing it into his mouth before placing a bit of his chocolate into Ryou's mouth and giggled some before writing once more but was soon finished and placed everything away "I don't know, I guess you could sketch some" he say fixing his hair

Ryou looked at him. "I've been sketching you for 10 minutes and you never even noticed." He laughed a bit, touching Kyoshi's hair. "might as well get ready for the next class. I'm done all the English work now anyway." He shut his sketchbook, hiding away the unfinished product as he got up. He brushed off his pants as he walked to the staircase. He waited for Kyoshi, nearly dragging him down the stairs as they went back to the regular school level. He stopped, letting Kyoshi drag them along to the next class.

Kyoshi looked to Ryou and shook his head his hair dancing around his petite frame "I didn't notice, I'm sorry" he say placing his things away, his jade eyes looking at Ryou's hand as it touched his hair "You have been very touchy today Ryou" he say a nervous smile on his face as he stood dusting off his trousers before walking to the staircase only to be dragged down the stairs "Umm next class is gym" he say moving to where the gym hall was

Ryou groaned at the thought of that class. "ah. Not the best of classes...sorry I just like touching..I've always been this way. Just like I love giving and getting hugs." He smiled before they went to get ready for one hell of a class. Though it did have it's perks. He would get to see Kyoshi in something skimpier than his normal attire. Not that he cared to see anyone else like that but he couldn't help but smile at the thought for Kyoshi since he did mostly look like a girl.

"I just hope it's not swimming, I almost got drowned in my last school" he say his hand tightening around the strap of his book bag "I've had a fear of swimming ever since" he say honestly "I've never had someone touch me so much... it's unnerving" he say a little touching Ryou's hair a little "Especially if you don't know a person well" he say lowering his hand and continued walking.

Entering the gym hall he looked at the teacher who looked like a walking wall on legs and gulped a little. The teacher instantly spotted Kyoshi "Who let a girl into the school..." he began Kyoshi walked forward "I am not a girl sir, and I passed the entrance exam with the highest marks this year... I have earned my place to be treated with respect based on my scores, not on based on my looks" he say respectfully his eyes looking down as he spoke showing he knew who the alpha was

The teacher was stunned that such a wimpy looking teen had stood up to him when larger boys had accepted what he had said about him "We will see girly" he say smiling "For the next two months we will be doing swimming" he called out, Kyoshi's eyes widening in fear as he heard the news "Don't worry girly I know about your phobia" he say walking to him "We will get you swimming or you will fail this class" he say walking off

Kyoshi looked to the teacher and trembled "if I fail this class I could be removed from the school, I was told I'd be excused from swimming" he say quietly to Ryou

Ryou thought for a moment. "It's okay. I'll help you the best I can. Don't take any of their crap. We're allowed in the pool after hours until 12." He didn't want to see Kyoshi go because of a stupid teacher like that. He was getting to know his roommate, not for him to be taken away quickly. He wondered if they would be paired up or not. Hoping if so to be paired with Kyoshi instead of someone who would intentionally try to drown him. He was the top swimmer from his past school, so who better to teach someone who was fearful.

Kyoshi looked at him with a true fear in his eyes and shook his head "I can't do it... I just can't I am suppose to be pardoned from this part of they cycle" he say his hand moving to his strap once more "I best get packing" he say in a low voice, he knew it wasn't fair that he had to fail because the teacher didn't like what he had said but who would the head teacher listen to... he already knew the adult and he knew many of the other students already believed he didn't belong there because he wasn't in the same social standing

Ryou looked a bit disheartened as he ran to the Gym teacher's office he was located in currently. He asked if Kyoshi could be pardoned since he was supposed to be, saying he would also teach him all he knew of swimming within the two month period. He made an offer with the man, hoping he wouldn't refuse. He Gave him a down payment on the spot. He also showed proof of his abilities in swimming as well. He didn't want to tell Kyoshi about it so the deal was that the teacher agree to the pardon but with a catch as he would still have to learn at his own pace. They would most likely be going to other pools and social places sometimes for field trips, probably even some hot springs. Ryou went back out to the gym, grabbing Kyoshi before he had time to get out the door.

The gym teacher looked at Ryou as he entered his office and listened to everything "No" he would say holding his authority and showed it wouldn't budge "He came to this school as a student and will be treated like everyone else" he say sliding the money back "I do not accept bribes" he hiss showing he wasn't pleased "He learns with the class or I fail him" is the last thing he would say on the matter "Now get ready or I will do the same with you Ryou" he say coldly as read over an email

Kyoshi blinked feeling his hand being grabbed and blinked "Ryou?" he say his voice showing he was scared and confused, he knew he was lucky to be there but still a phobia wasn't an easy thing to get over

Ryou sighed when his bribe had failed. He figured some teachers just could not be persuaded. "You can't leave over something so primitive as this. At least try, with me. It's the only way to succeed, trying. Right? So come on. It won't be so bad." He said trying to calm him and coax him. He wouldn't let his parents know of the threat either as he was just trying to help. He at least hoped the coach would at least have them team up into groups or something. He knew it would probably take some getting used to with Kyoshi, still hoping he would try.

Kioshi looked at him for a moment "This isn't some trivial essay this is a full blown fear" he say looking down "When I told the teacher at my old school I couldn't swim it didn't prevent her from pushing me in the deep end, telling me not to be so silly..." he confess looking away "I almost drowned, my parents asked I be excused from swimming because of this and I was given permission not to swim "But unfortunately, it seems like sir didn't get the memo" he let out a sigh "I best get packed" he say walking towards the door once more

"Aww the poor boy going bye bye?" one of the other students geered "He didn't belong here anyway" said a second boy "It seems mr perfect isn't so perfect, scared of a little water" said a third, hearing this Kyo ran out of the room almost in the fit or tears

Ryou backhanded them all before running after Kyoshi. He didn't care if they got sent to the office. Maybe that would resolve the issue that the gym teacher failed to agree to. He found him soon after in the nearest washroom, locked in a stall. He peered under the stall sighing as he'd found him. "come on out of there. It won't help you any." He tried to coax, figuring it wouldn't work that way. "don't make me come in there. Because I will." He warned, getting ready to slide under. "It's only the first day. what would your parents say if they knew you'd be back in less than a full week?" He asked, sliding under and staring down at him. He'd been crying while sitting on the toilet with the cover down. He didn;t know what would work so he just went with what he knew made some people feel better. He kissed Kyoshi's forehead and hugged him while stroking his hair.

Kyoshi had no idea what happened in they gym hall, he ran to the communal toilets and chose a stall. pulling down the cover he sat down locking the stall as tears began to fall, it was the only the first day and nothing seemed to be going right "Staying in here might not help any but at least things can't get any worse" he stutter his voice shaking from how upset he was.

Not believing Ryou would crawl under he just sat there surprised as he seen the other crawl under, his blazed getting slightly dirty, he closed his eyes and turned his head to the right his face screwed up in pain at the mention of his parent's reaction, they had been so proud of him when he got the acceptance letter to the point they bragged to everyone "They would be disappointed in me, but would understand" he say, he didn't even sound to convincing to himself

Feeling the other's lips on his forehead his eyes shot wide open, he hadn't expected it, he was even more concerned when his hair began to get stroked as if he was some sort of pet, as much as it made him feel uncomfortable he allowed it to happen without saying a word as he didn't want to upset Ryou feelings

"now are you going to quit being a baby about things and ignore those assholes? Oh and we may get a call from the office...I may have backhanded a few people on my way out." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly after letting go of Kyoshi. "How can you believe they'll understand when it doesn't even sound convincing to yourself?" He noticed how quiet his response to that had been. "Maybe at the office we can get some of this all fixed up?" He hoped, hearing the intercom cut in. He sighed as it was for them to go to the office right away. It didn't sound threatening so that was at least a good thing. Right?

"You forget they are right..." he looked down to the floor "I don't belong here and I am scared of large pools of water" he say standing taking his blazer off showing his white shirt that didn't show any signs of altering through seems but done so because of how it fit his form type. "You shouldn't have attacked you can be expelled for that kind of behavior" he say listening to what he said about being unconvincing

He was a terrible liar and this just proved it, to tell the truth he had no idea how his parents would react as this was a once in a life-time opportunity and if he left there would be no chance he would get into another school that could develop the way someone like him needed so he needed to tough it out.

Hearing the intercom he picked up his book bag and placed his blazer over it not wanting to put it back on, he was to upset to care about school uniform, at this moment in time he regretted even applying to the school. unlocking the stall he moved out and headed to the headmasters office his head lowered

Ryou followed seeing as he was also called to the office, but also to back him up. He knew he was probably still feeling pretty down about everything, not sure how to really help. He didn't know how since his parent's never really cared to see how he was doing accept by texting or calling once in a while. He'd text them weekly and only get replies months after. He sat in the chair next to Kyoshi, hoping that nothing would get them in trouble as he felt he needed to be his protector for some reason.

The head master looked at them both and sighed "The first day in and you both have already caused trouble" the head master said turning to look at them both "Kyoshi, put your blazer on this is a respectful school, not a run down public one" he say in a stern tone. Kyoshi sat still "I mean no disrespect sir but it feel like a public school" his voice was low as he spoke "At a respectful school, teacher wouldn't fail someone for having a phobia of open water and make them swim even though they had been excused for it..." he look to the right "Students wouldn't believe they where better than you because they have money and would respect one another for their skills and ability's not make fun of a person because of fears and them not being of the same social status" he finish quietly

"Why should I show respect when none is given to me because I am different" his voice trembling more as he almost started to cry once more The head master sighed and handed him a tissue he knew it was going to be hard for him "I had no idea he would try and force you to swim Kioshi, I told him you where excused... I will enforce it now since the blockhead didn't get the message the first time round" he smiled and chuckled a little he was friendly on such a matter as he knew fear was a powerful emotion

His eyes now went to Ryou "Wither for your friend or not you should never strike another student Ryou, I know your father taught you better than that" he say shaking his head "As it is the first day of school I will put it down to nerves, and the wish to protect a friend... but next time there will be punishment" he say sternly his eyes asking the question 'do you understand?'

Ryou nodded. "Yes, Sir." He looked him in the eyes. He felt a little embarrassed, though he knew one thing was not fully true. His father had not raised him...much. He would not dwell on that impression. He did wonder though if anything happened again and he couldn't do anything, what could he do? He figured it would be something for the guidance councillor to deal with. He waited for the headmaster to finish his lecture and warning. He was thankful for that at the very least. He didn't want to get into trouble on the first day and end up in serious trouble or anything.

The head master looked to Kyoshi "It's a pleasure to have you at this school, not many students have ever got perfect marks on every subject, the only let down you had was sport" he say warmly he looked at him fully now as he stood putting his blazer back on "Though with someone with your physic I can see why you didn't do to well in sports..." he turned and faced the window

"Very well I have came to a decision..." he begin "Both of you are excused from physical education to stop anymore mishaps from happening, and I will place you on the same timetable" he continue "I want you both to grow stronger together and work together on every project through the school year" he say smiling "This also means what stands for one will stand for the other... so you both fall under the allowance of eating in classes, but it also means your grades and behaviors also count on the other person as well" he say turning back to the window, they wanted to be so close, he granted the wish but it came with a price

Kyoshi listened to everything that was said and nodded "Yes sir, and thank you" he say watching as the head teacher waved his hand to dismiss them "I will email your teachers letting them know... take the rest of the day off and everything comes into play tomorrow" he say

Ryou thanked the headmaster as well. He didn't think that plan of action was bad. "So...what do you wanna do for the rest of the day?" He asked, wrapping an arm around Kyoshi and pulling him in for a little hug since he nearly did start to cry in there. "that'll teach that dumb--" He shut up soon as he seen the coach strolling down the hall. He figured he was sent to the office to hear the news as well. "nevermind. Let's just go somewhere. The dorm? Library? Cafe?" He gave his options that he'd not mind going to right now, though he figured the dorm might be the best of the three so they could combine that schedule. "how is this going to work for our two different classes though? Did he give us a new schedule or something?" He hadn't noticed if the headmaster handed Kyoshi a paper or not.

Kyoshi looked to ryou and smiled weakly, he didn't like the though of if one screwed up they'd both be punished, that one of their assessments where lousy both would be marked a single grade waiting until they had left the office and moved into their own dorm he let out a sigh "I don't like it... I don't want to be the cause of anyone's pain or their fall and I definitely don't want it to cause mine" he say sitting down at his desk opening his lap top to check the school email account "Our new scheduled has been emailed to us" he say quietly opening it seems on the Monday and Friday it's my scheduled on the Tuesday and Thursday it's yours" he say looking at how the classes played out "Every other day stays the same since we are in the same classes anyway" he finish getting up and moving to his closet to get a change of clothing

"ah. so that's how it works. Alright. So i'll be in your class on tuesday then? Also there should be hardly any worries since we've gotten all homework done today even before classes had ended. I still say you should trust me on those uh....swimming lessons. Even if you feel you can't handle even trying it." He lay on his bed, flipping through a yaoi manga while he wondered what Kyoshi was up to with his change of clothes. "shower?"

"I don't want to swim, I'll drown" he say quickly to the others words, just the mere mention of swimming right now made him shake "No, I'm going to work... some extra hours will do me no harm" he say moving into the bathroom to get changed quickly coming back out he moved into the kitchen to put the laundry he put on in the morning into the tumble dryer and placed his school uniform into the shower "If you get changed I guess you could come too" he say wondering if would rather just stay here reading his manga

Ryou got up, saving his page as he dug through his drawers. He pulled out a pair of comfy cargo shorts and a t-shirt. He stripped down right there to his underwear, getting dressed in less than a minute. "You were saying? Yeah I guess I'll tag along. I guess I won't keep pestering you about the S word then...for now." He said, lightening up a little. He packed his shoulder bag, carrying his sketchbook and wallet inside. "ready when you are."

Seeing Ryou getting up and heading to his drawers he knew it meant he didn't need to be offered twice, though seeing him strip down he turned his back not saying a word. Hearing his roommate speak he turned and took his school uniform and placed it into the washing machine and turned it on "I am never going to swim, let the ducks and fish do it" he say with a smile

seeing his sketchbook he knew he was in trouble "You aren't going to use that are you" he say nervously heading for the door with a yawn "lack of sugar" he sighed moving into his pocket and brought out a piece of nikki and popped it into his mouth "emergence stash" he chuckle walking out of the door

"You really should look into that. It could be low blood sugar or something you know. Though it's always good to have a stash kept away for emergencies. Also, Yes I'm bringing this but may or may not use it today. You'll just have to find out either way." Ryou smirked, walking beside Kyoshi as he went to the vending machine for a mocha energy drink to sip along the way. "here's my way of rejuvenating fast. Though I don't have these much as they're worse than having anything else with triple the sugar and caffeine." By the time they got to the cafe, he'd been finished the drink as he had a straw in it. "can never drink and walk at the same time without a straw of sorts."

Kyoshi looked to him with a smile "My blood sugar is fine, just like I said sugar stimulates the mind" he say walking down the corridor stopping at the vending machine so Ryou could get his drink "I normally make two hundred dollars a week when I was tutoring and fifty dollars of it when on things that where filled with sugar, the rest went on some fabric, stationary I needed and my family" he say quietly he knew his family needed him to help out so they could survive but they understood he needed things to for himself.

"Energy drink make me crash hard, I'll bounce off the walls for a few hours and will remain asleep for twelve" he say honestly walking into the cafe looking at his employer "I know I'm early, but may I start now?" he ask the manager nodding pointing him to the back. Kyoshi looked to His roommate "I'll see you after work" he say contently walking into the back looking for the locker that his name on it.

Taking out the outfit he blink for a moment "First day..." he say "Out of one uniform and into another" he say with a whisper looking at the Kaname Kuran outfit he had been given to wear. Quickly changing he walked out with a smile looking smart in his white uniform

Ryou could not wait to see what outfit Kyoshi would end up wearing. Wondering where he would also be located as he set himself to a table by the cash. He got his sketchbook out, looking at the menu as well since he was there. He might as well try and plan his meals out since he would be there more often than not. He wondered where Kyoshi was going to be set up at, waiting impatiently.

Kioshi walked out nevously but looked quite the part of the noble pure blood, looking to his manager for a moment he went and collected a pencil and order pad before seeing Ryou and heading to him a smile on his face "Are you ready to order?" he ask taking the pencil ready to take his order, looking to the table he noticed the sketch pad but said nothing as he was a customer and waited patiently

"You on the menu?" Ryou teased. "alright...hmm I think I'll try out the cherry cheesecake with a mocha latte." He said as he began a basic sketch. "Looks good on you, though I would've figured you to be in a Yuuki uniform for some reason. You got good feminine hips for her." He teased, not minding either way. He also took out a camera, making him pose for a full body shot. "there now you won't know when I'm finished with this."

Kyoshi blushed a little and shook his head it felt strange feeling a breeze on the back of his neck because he didn't normally wear a wig "So sir, I'm not on the menu" he say respectfully "Though thank you for the compliment" he remembered how many would be fan boys and girls and had to say thanks when complimented even if it made them feel uncomfortable, she took down the order "I will get it to you in just a short moment" he say ready to walk off

"Thanks, I think it suits well" he say contently "Y-Yuuki" he exclaimed, now he felt such a girl again "Please don't tell my boss that, he would likely make me wear the uniform" say knowing the customer was always right and to keep happy customers you gave them what they wanted seeing the camera he darted off before he could get his photo taken "Oh no you dont" he say moving behind the counter to deal with his order only to bring it to him shortly after "Please enjoy, if you need anything else feel free to call" he say walking off to go serve someone else

Ryou, once finished with the tasty snack, walked over to the manager asking which cosplays he was going to make Kyoshi wear in order. He also gave him a few ideas secretly. Complimenting Kyoshi's feminine charm and physique. He figured he'd eventually get pictures of Kyoshi in those outfits, or nothing at all. He shook his head, wondering where that thought had come from. He then remembered bits of the dreams he'd been having, blushing lightly as he sat back at the table.
