Glancing up when she saw someone approaching, she smiled at her friend. "I thought I was going to have to dine alone there for a while," she said with a small laugh. She wouldn't have minded that in the least bit, but it was always much better to eat among friends. She then turned her attention back to her salad, placing the knife she'd been using on the side of the plate near the top. She then took a bite of the salad and sighed rather happily. She was rather hungry for some reason. Maybe it was because she was accustomed to eating as soon as she woke. She'd only had to wait an hour though, so it was odd and confusing. Maybe she was just really hungry because the food was so good. "Sleep well?" she asked her friend. |
Nikko looked at the waitress looked over to the table nodded to her. "Thank you so much." walking away heading to the table that he was shown to as he walked over to see White. "Afternoon Miss White how are you today?"

"Yep. Like a log," she replied, grinning.
"I sure hope it doesn't take too much longer for the other contestants to get here." She looked down at her salad which was drenched in a tangy, thick dressing, and stabbed several pieces of lettuce before bringing the fork up to her mouth. The salad was fresh and delicious, she expected nothing less from the staff here. |
Then she was joined by yet another person she was familiar with. "Hello there, Nikko! Good to see you down for lunch. I'm doing well and I do hope you are the same. There's a nice spread out for lunch. Go grab some food, won't you? Then come join us.~" She was just taking into account that he wasn't holding a plate yet. She'd paid for everyone to be able to eat, so she was wanting to make sure everyone was going to enjoy their stay here. |
"I hope not either... I need to make an announcement when everyone is here. There are lots of things to do when we can have everyone present, you know?" White said with a sigh. She then turned her attention back to her salad and took yet another bite. All of the food here was bound to be amazing, so she wasn't surprised that she enjoyed the salad so very much. "I'm glad you slept like a dog though, Mew. I slept a little too well myself. I woke up much too late." |
Mew nodded towards Nikko and turned her attention back to White.
She nodded sternly at what her friend was saying, taking another quick bite of her food and then taking a sip of water. She laughed lightly at the last comment and replied, "I would say the same for myself but I'm not very notorious for waking up early." |
That comment made her laugh lightly. She shook her head and grabbed her own glass of water. She took a small sip and then turned her attention back to Mew. "I usually don't wake up very early, but I at least wake up in time for breakfast... But I missed it. This is my first meal of the day and it does not feel right at all," she said and then sighed. She finished her salad since it had been a rather small one to begin with. She made up for it with the bowl of fruit she'd brought to the table as well. She turned her attention to that and cut one of the pieces of fruit in half before dipping it into the yogurt. |
Upon entering the dining room, she glanced around the room. Two females and one male appeared to be talking to each other over by one table. By the looks of it, it must've been White and another judge, as well as a contestant. A small smile cracked her face for a moment before it disappeared as she headed over to get herself a plate of food. After grabbing what she wanted, she took a seat by herself at an empty table and began to eat.

Looking up when she saw a familiar face, White realized it was one of the contestants. She shook her head and waved her hand up a little. Trying not to be too obnoxious, White said, "Hey, Nightmare. This table is the one for the contestants. Don't be shy you know. You can come eat with us!" She then laughed a little before she eat the piece of fruit. It was fresh and ripe, so it was extremely good. The yogurt was amazing as well. This was one of the best lunches she'd had. |
Hearing a voice calling out to her, Nightmare looked up and blinked. Seeing that it was White, she listened. "Well.." She spoke mainly to herself, "if you insist so." Standing with her things, she made her way over to the table and sat in one of the empty seats.

Lucid joined the reserved table, carrying a bowl of fruit and a spinach salad. "Hello Nightmare, White, Mew. Lunch looks absolutely delicious today, doesn't it?" she said to the women. "I don't believe I've met you yet, sir. I'm Lucid." She set her food on the table and offered her hand to shake.

As the two other contestants sat down, Nightmare and Lucid, Mew lifted her hand up to wave at them, her bangles jangling together.
"So how are you all enjoying the hotel?" she asked, trying to start up some conversation. |
"Oh, good. The company just keeps getting better and better," White said with a smile, in reference to more people coming to sit at the table. She then turned her attention back to her bowl of fruit. She dipped yet another piece of fruit into the yogurt so she could enjoy it in her favorite way. "I'm glad that the food is satisfactory, Lucid." That was said with yet another smile before she ate the piece of fruit she'd already prepared. |
Nightmare looked to Lucid and nodded after she spoke. "And hello to you, Lucid, was it? I remember you from checking in yesterday." She smiled softly. Her attention then turned to Mew. "The hotel is quite nice," She said in response, "Everything here is great so far. I don't believe I've introduced myself, though...I'm Nightmare, it's nice to meet you."

"Well I'm glad to hear that you like it. Yes, it's good to meet you as well," Mew replied, holding out her hand to shake Nightmare's.
After the greeting she took her glass and sipped down a few mouthfuls of water and then plucked up another leaf of lettuce with her fork and popped it into her mouth, afterward picking up her napkin to wipe her mouth before continuing with the conversation. "You've seen a small handful of the other competitors so far, what do you think of them?" she asked in a still polite tone. |
Nodding her head when Mew asked that question, White turned her attention to the competitors. "Yes. I'm curious about that as well. what do you think of the other contestants?" she asked with a smile. She then looked back down at her bowl of fruit and cut another piece in half. It was a continued thing. She'd cut the piece in half, dip it in the yogurt, and then pop it into her mouth. Every now and then her napkin would rise to her mouth as well. |
Lucid added strawberries and nuts to her spinach, and ate it happily. "I think that this will be a very close competition. Everybody here seems so talented. Only the best of the best were accepted, of course? I fear your job as judges may be harder than ours as designers!" Lucid laughed.

Night extend her hand after Mew did to shake it, and did so. She blinked once at her question, which White seemed curious to know herself. "I have to agree with Lucid," she said afterwards, "It looks like everyone is even to evenly matched with everyone else. It should make things quite fun."

"Awwww, what typical answers," she said, jutting her bottom lip out.
"This is a competition, aren't you supposed to say rude things about how you think you're better than everyone here?" she asked with a mischievous laugh and grin. |
Nightmare couldn't help but shake her head and smile at Mew's reaction. "I suppose that's the typical answers, then," She said, still smiling. "I'm sure once the competition starts something will spark and you'll get that."

"I don't want to judge too quickly," Lucid said with a wink. "I have no idea what you have planned for us. I might need to be on someone's good side. If I'm going to have an enemy, I always want them to think that they're my friend."

"Oho! That's the spirit!" she said with a laugh to both of them.
Mew wasn't one who loved drama or anything, but she also wasn't one who loved to watch competitors be completely polite and always thinking good thoughts about each other. Everyone needed to be fully confident and fierce in this competition if they wanted to win. You couldn't be afraid to face your other competitors head on. "Of course, it is a good thing that you're all respectful of your peers. The best of the best were chosen, so you all have plenty of competition," she said to them with a bright smile. |
"Well, you know... Sometimes things just aren't as fun or spicy when there isn't any drama or hate... There really should be some eventually... You know? So this entire competition isn't boring and filled with people that love each other. Though, love is good... Hate is so sadly entertaining... I'm sure there will be room for people to hate each other after the first event though. Everyone needs to stay happy and caring about each other until after that," White said and then polished off her fruit. She then stacked her dishes lightly and placed the silverware on the side of the plate. There would be a waitress by to get it anytime. |
After a long day of working out, shopping, and socializing, Ginger decided to finally sit and relax. Without much free time on her hands, she rushed to the spa to get a facial and to get her eyebrows waxed. Her day was long and stressful, trying to get everything ready after her luggage arrived at nine in the morning. There was a delay in her delivery due to a severe blizzard a few states over and the roads hadn't been plowed. Ginger loves winter, but the snow is something she does not like.

By the time Airu had gotten herself all ready to go it was a little past one. Sighing to herself she tied her last shoe up and headed out the door. With her tummy growling and feeling out of control she thought it would be best to get lunch so that's where it was off to. She noticed the buffet was now filled with small sandwiches and all kinds of salads. She got her self one of the sandwich squares and a bowl of salad then turned on her heels to find a place to sit.

Heaving up her laptop bag onto her right shoulder, Espy tugged on the handle of a huge suitcase. She'd just paid the taxi fees, and now was staring at the rather grand entryway of a large hotel. She brushed a few strands of hair from in front of her eyes, walked in, and made her way across the lobby over to the reception counter.
"Hi. My name is Esprit Rion; I think Miss White might have a reservation for me?" Espy asked while ruffling her short hair out of habit. |
Nikko sat in the lobby after looking about and wondering trying to know the other contestants with in the game. Reaching into his laptop bag he removed a book called "Book Girl and the Suicidal Mime" from it. As he got comfy leaned back some he opened the book began to read it his hair covering over his left eye still.

The receptionist handed Espy her card key and explained that she wasn't sure at the moment where Miss White was... But she would tell her over the radio that she had checked in. She wished her a grand and happy stay at the hotel before picking up the radio to do just that. It was about mid day and White was out by the pool once more, by herself. She hadn't told anyone she was going out here, but it wouldn't be too hard to figure it out. She grabbed the radio when she heard what Shannelle had to say and she thanked her. There were still a few contestants yet to show, so White was hoping the rest would show up soon... Really soon. She shrugged off that feeling and then turned her attention back to her book, Extremities by Kathy Koja. |
Duchess drove up to the hotel in a pure white stretch limo and checked her map with instructions.
"This is the place," she thought to herself while surveying the premises. It was a lot smaller than what she was used to and the thought for sharing with nine other contestants was a bit off-putting, however, she still exited the limo with a bright outlook on the whole experience. "The bags, Leo!" She called out to her hand servant who pulled out 3 huge suitcases and dragged them along behind her as they approached the entrance to the hotel. |
Lucid was out lounging by the pool when she saw a large white Limo pull up to the hotel, and overheard a woman calling out orders quite loudly. I wonder if she's a contestant... Lucid thought to herself.

The woman behind the counter felt rather intimated as a woman that seemed to have a lot money approached the counter. The complained about the hotel being smaller than she was used to and that made her feel kind of bad. They had large rooms, but the hotel didn't have too terribly many rooms... Then she complained about having to share the same floor with other people. It was confusing, but she guessed it was just how rich people dealt with things. She simply gave the woman her key and then grabbed the radio to inform White that another person had just arrived. |
After Airu had her lunch she had gone up to her room only to change into some running shorts and a tanktop. She was glad this hotel had a small gym to work out some. It was nice to just get on a treadmill and run. It took things off of her mind so it was relaxing. Two hours had passed while being inside their small gym when she decided it was finally time to give the pool a visit. Once again her trip up to her room consisted of changing and into her swimming attire this time, accompanied by a shower. Leaving the room she grabbed her big towel and went off to the pool. When she arrived down there she noticed two others by the pool, White and Lucid. Airu smiled and nodded to the two even if they didn't notice. Flopping her towel over a near by chair to the pool entrance, she also placed her phone and room card on the chair. And she took her long awaited dip into the pool.

Duchess made way over to the elevator with her servants following when she heard the receptionist call out, "You're not allowed to bring extra persons into your room!"
Was she serious? She went back over and paid for her servants to stay in separate rooms on a different floor. There was no way that she could live without her help, even in this competition. A small financial set back was okay when it's for such a worthy cause. She resumed her ascent in the elevator to her designated room. It was not as bad as she thought it would be, for a mediocre establishment that is. She quickly shooed off her lackeys and took to the task of unpacking all her suitcases and throwing items around in an orderly mess. She had a system to the madness that would be sure to put her on top or risk shaming her entire family. |
[[There were extra rooms on that floor that they could have stayed in, by the way. x-x White paid for an entire floor... That has about 20 rooms on each floor. We didn't use them all. D: What, does she had about ten servants or something? Because we've only got 13 rooms occupied. xD;;]] |
((She has like... everything.. a chef, hairstylist, fitness trainer, makeup artist, footmans, handmaids, cleaning maids, etc... It's insane. She's insane xDDD But she cannot go anywhere without an entourage))
