DreadedMartian 09-11-2019 07:32 PM

is it just around the collar our going down the back?

mdom 09-11-2019 07:46 PM

It's down the back D:

Biomecha 09-11-2019 07:57 PM

Did the salon do anything to help? Like a refund?

Kitalpha Hart 09-11-2019 07:57 PM

I've heard nothing but gripes about Maplestory 2
Full of nostalgia for the first but I also had to stop playing shortly after the Cygnus Knights arrived cuz we went from dial-up to a data plan and something like MS was gonna kill it

Stabbsworth 09-11-2019 08:02 PM

> ragequits dst due to varg

also, yeah, maplestory 2 isn't great. the story is kinda. just there.

DreadedMartian 09-11-2019 08:35 PM

Honestly I've been wanting to get into making shirts. Like silk press. Some of my coworkers do heat press but the quality isnt as nice. I've already started saving the money for a machine to help me do layered colors. If I get it I'm making some trisphee shirts! Not for resale of course but maybe just for us? Who knows. I'm the right amount of crazy for that.

mdom 09-11-2019 08:37 PM

they gave a discount but I'm never going back there u.u

Stabbsworth 09-11-2019 08:39 PM

sounds neat, martian.

DreadedMartian 09-11-2019 08:44 PM

Yeah Mdom I wouldnt go back either. I hate to be that person, but seems a touch unprofessional. From now on wear a shirt you dont really care about.

And thanks void, I know it sounds far fetched and silly but I really might do it lol

Biomecha 09-11-2019 08:47 PM

The little bit of silk screening I did for one of my classes was fun. I liked the process, but lacked the creativity or abilities to come up with any good designs.

mdom 09-11-2019 08:48 PM

why not 'mdom' in rainbow
for all the designs

KittyBeary 09-11-2019 08:48 PM

I shall ppick 26, 33, and 38!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISPHEE

Stabbsworth 09-11-2019 08:53 PM

legs. needs more legs.

Coda 09-11-2019 09:01 PM

I do cut-out iron-on vinyl instead of thermal dye transfer (that is, what most people mean when they talk about iron-on patterns). It's a lot less messy than silk screen and a lot easier to do one-offs, but it's slower than silk screen if you're doing a lot of them.

Iron-on vinyl also comes in metallic and iridescent and holographic. Fun effects!

DreadedMartian 09-11-2019 09:45 PM

@Biomecha: Yeah I worry about that too. I'm not artistic by any means but I have some ideas.

@Coda: Yes vinyls give the best fun effects and that's why I'll always keep my hot press around lol

Mekatra 09-11-2019 09:49 PM

We recently lucked into a Cricut and I have been eyeing t-shirt making stuff for a while.

DreadedMartian 09-11-2019 09:53 PM

The Cricket is great! I, of course, say go for it!

Mekatra 09-11-2019 09:56 PM

I shall put it on my project list. I have so many going on right now I probably shouldn't start anything new though.

I think Trisphee t-shirts would be cute.

Kitalpha Hart 09-11-2019 10:07 PM

Mdom you just like being as many arms as possible, I think

Biomecha 09-11-2019 10:18 PM

mdom has a normal amount of arms. Are you sure your vision isn't blurry?

Kitalpha Hart 09-11-2019 10:27 PM

Their pantheon avi doesn't even have a body half the time

Panda 09-11-2019 11:15 PM

Did I missed anyones ticket numbers?

DreadedMartian 09-12-2019 03:38 AM

You missed KittyBeary, Panda.

Panda 09-12-2019 03:43 AM

OMG haha, thank you so much for letting me know ^^

KittyBeary 09-12-2019 08:21 AM

Thank you Martian!! ;u;

Mekatra 09-12-2019 08:45 AM

Cute Reno cosplay, Kittybeary!

Stabbsworth 09-12-2019 10:33 AM

man, i should learn how to sew. it'd be good for patching up clothing, y'know? could get a bit of cash out of it.

Panda 09-12-2019 10:45 AM

Do you have a machine also or you only sew with your hands?

Stabbsworth 09-12-2019 10:59 AM

we don't have a machine, no.

mdom 09-12-2019 11:18 AM

Patching up clothes by hand is very brave xD

Stabbsworth 09-12-2019 11:22 AM

not really. i've got a few needles that might be able to pierce the clothing, and a few holes in one or two of my night clothes.

just need to find a decent guide on how to sew 'em up, really.

mdom 09-12-2019 11:30 AM

ah, not really like
hemming jeans pants or stuff like that xD

Stabbsworth 09-12-2019 11:36 AM

gestures. i have no idea what you just said.

Merskelly Metalien 09-12-2019 12:33 PM

:D I can sew like a 6 year old.
I've never really used a machine before. >u>;

Stabbsworth 09-12-2019 12:37 PM

Mm. I've got needles from cross stitch kits, so it might be fine to use those.

Merskelly Metalien 09-12-2019 12:48 PM

I once tried to sew together a weird eel hat, >u>; but I used some green felt that made the hat look like Link's hat from Zelda and I gave up entirely. <x}

Kitalpha Hart 09-12-2019 01:45 PM

I've made a cosplay before
And a pinafore for another
And the inner piece for the third that ended up being about 2k pipe cleaners

And of course their age is reverse order I mentioned

DreadedMartian 09-12-2019 02:45 PM

when I was little I joined a sewing class at this church and I was the only young person there lol but I learned how to sew.
