Worm 01-08-2018 04:29 PM

Hal laughed, following Ash into the city like the dog he unknowingly was. "Ohhh, so its just rape then? I can dig that." He rubbed his arm where he was punched, the smile never leaving his face. "I mean, I guess its not rape if I consent though. So I hope that doesn't kill the thrill for you." He giggled, unsure how far he could run with this joke. He was a bit nervous though to be honest. He hadn't been inside a girl's home in months now. He hadn't gotten close to a girl in an even longer amount of time. So he had to make stupid jokes to distract from his insecurities.

sylvanSpider 01-08-2018 04:43 PM

Ash kept that same shit-eating grin that now seemed to be a permanent feature of her face and held up her finger and her thumb to show just how little it took away, "I think I can work around it though. I mean, as long as you are consenting." Ash was nervous too. She knew her girlfriend was in the apartment, probably waiting for her, and she was bringing fresh meat to the jowels of this terrifying woman. It might have been wise to tell him that she uh...sort of already had a girlfriend, but she didn't want to scare him away and she sure as shit knew that if she said that, he would be scared away. Open relationships weren't that common, but she and her girlfriend had that regardless.

"Hoo boy, here we fucking go," she muttered, looking up at their apartment. It was up on the top floor and the elevator, as per fucking usual, was out of service. She put in the code, the door clanging open, and Ash pointed up, "We're up there. Hope you're ready for a workout."

Worm 01-08-2018 04:59 PM

Hal scuffed his feet lightly as her sexual suggestions went right through him. He wasn't sure if that meant she was on board for a physical relationship with Hal, or if she was just playing along with his shit talking. Either way, they were at the apartment now. Standing in front of it, he remembered how shitty it was to live in a high rise. His own place was a tiny bedroom in a house full of drug addicts. At least he didn't have to walk up a thousand stairs to get there though.

Ah well, he was in shape and ready to show off. As the door opened he followed into the chemical clean lobby area and looked up the metal stairs. "Which floor?" As soon as she answered, he took off and up the stairs. "I'll race you!" He dangled over the arm rails to make sure she was following behind before he continued to hold his place in the lead.

On the eighth floor, Nora was cleaning some dishes. Dishes that she thought she'd told her girlfriend to finish before she got home. The black haired business woman got home late last night after a long day and didn't care to clean up until now. What bothered her most was the fact that she didn't get a message, a call, or any indication as to where her lovely lady was. And while she knew to respect Ash's decisions, Nora had to wonder if something had happened. So she scrubbed and scrubbed to distract herself. Dark trancey music pulsed from the corner of the small kitchen as she did so.

sylvanSpider 01-08-2018 05:21 PM

Ash sprinted up the stairs after him, "It's ah--*pant, pant*--up at the top!" Ash, of course, said this as she was running up the stairs, and when she got up the first flight of stairs to catch up with her newfound potential fuck buddy she lunged for one of his ankles scrambling for the top. "Just a forewarning for when you win, the uh...place isn't necessarily clean," she wheezed, trying to scramble past up, using her arms to half pull her up on the railing. Obviously, she didn't give a shit about her neighbors, once even careening into one of their doors receiving a loud "HEY!" from the other side.
---

Audrey sat on the couch, posture ramrod straight and hands clasped firmly in her lap. Why am I still in my boss's apartment while she passive aggressively does the dishes? She did say that she had a girlfriend...and we didn't do anything like that last night, but why do I feel like I can't leave? She swallowed, leaning forward a bit and looking into the kitchen, the origin of the loud pulsing music and the louder than average washing of dishes. She cleared her throat and squirmed a bit, straining her ears when she thought she heard something like running coming from the hallway.

Worm 01-08-2018 05:31 PM

Hal was at the top now, only having tripped twice up the stairs. He leapt up and down making fake cheering sounds as if he were being admired by an audience of fans. "Yessss! I am victorious!" He belted out, waiting for Ash to reach his position. He was more in shape than he remembered, and now he was feeling invigorated. The surge of adrenaline left a pure smile stretched across his scarred up face. "Hah-hah... So uh-" He stopped to finally catch a breath. "Which one is yours?" He leaned against the wall to catch his breath.

Nora was enveloped in the sounds of her internal dialogue. "What if she's hurt or dead?" Scrub scrub, scrub scrub. "No, someone would've told me.... I'm listed in her emergency contacts so if Ash was in a hospital they would call..." Scrub scrub, scrub scrub. "But what if she's not at a hospital? What if she was trapped somewhere, some creeper dude could be holding her hostage!" Scrubbing faster now. "Or or what if Ash is just tired of me?..." The door flung open to a cacophony of laughter, and Nora couldn't help but further ignore her guest in the attached living room. She turned down the music and glared from the kitchen as Ash and Hal entered.

sylvanSpider 01-08-2018 05:51 PM

Ash got to the top, resting her hands on her knees, back against the door panting. Lifting a shaky hand, she pointed, "It's...it's... that...one. Hoo! You're fast! Didn't know you worked out!" When Hal opened the door, Ash tried jumping in front of him but before she could warn him, Hal burst through the door.

Audrey, hands still clasped in her lap, gasped, green eyes wide. She recognized the scent immediately. Nora mentioned a girlfriend over the course of the evening, and she imagined that that was probably the reason for the passive aggressive dishwashing, and now she was looking at that person in, well, person. But the alpha, that scent, it didn't belong to the girl who stumbled in with equally as wide eyes, looking first in the kitchen where her girlfriend was doing the dishes that she'd been told to do, then to the girl sitting on the couch looking awkward and out of place as hell. "Who is this?" Ash asked, throwing a hand in gesture to said girl, and stomped over to the kitchen eyes locked on her girlfriend.

Audrey in the meantime had turned all of her attention on the man that came stumbling in with the aforementioned girlfriend, her breath catching in her throat.

Worm 01-08-2018 05:59 PM

Hal did not expect a real audience this time. He stopped in his tracks when he noticed the other two girls in the apartment. Roommates? Or more? Was all he could think as he scanned the room, his good eye immediately drawn to the sheepish girl on the couch. "Hey, I'm Hal." He smiled, waving to her from a good few feet. As Ash turned into the kitchen of the other girl, he had to wonder what their relationship was.

But, in the meantime, he took a seat next to the new girl. Something about her was oddly attractive. She was so tiny, he felt like he could throw her onto his shoulders with ease. He did his best to conceal his attraction as he sat on the other end of the couch. He spread his legs, leaning onto his knees and looking towards the kitchen before continuing with the new girl. "Are you Ash's roommate?" He cleared his throat, trying to seem somewhat decent.

Nora was furious. "Who is this?" She scowled. "Who the fuck is that? And where have you been all night?" She placed her hands on her hips, staring straight through Ash's soul. "Well?" She crossed her arms.

Hal could only laugh. He leaned in to ask the new girl under his breath, "Those two sisters or partners?"

sylvanSpider 01-08-2018 06:42 PM

“It's a long fuckin' story. Was hoping to finally get a chance to explain where I've been all night and why the fuck I haven't been home and I come home to this? What the fuck, Nora?!” Ash was equally as furious, though even she wasn't sure what she should be feeling at the moment. On the one hand, she was utterly aware that she'd been out virtually all night without so much as a text, but on the other, she hadn't slept with Hal! Well, not in that way, anyway. She was still in the clear as far as she was concerned, but she wasn't so sure that Nora was, not anymore!

Audrey cleared her throat getting to her feet and held out her hand, “Is that...Ash? I don't know. I'm one of Nora's employees.” She said this conveniently leaving out that she was Nora's only employee. Audrey could barely contain herself. She was in the presence of an alpha, just brought up to her as if on destiny. But the women that were responsible for both being there...they weren't werewolves. They were just regular humans. Were the ladies aware of their statuses as werewolves? Was this some sort of set up? Or just really, [i]really unique coincidence?

“I was...out...last night. But when I tell you, you have to promise to believe me! I ah...should probably tell you in private...” Ash rubbed the back of her neck, peering at Nora through the tops of her eyes, her softened tone implied to be the apology that Nora was looking for, Ash hoping that she'd take the bait.

Audrey leaned over to return the whisper, “If ah...Nora...is to be believed, they're partners...”

Worm 01-08-2018 06:55 PM

The closer Hal got to the new girl, the more he felt his body flare up with electricity. He scooted a few inches closer to her, eye looking her up and down a couple more times. She was so cute! "Huh. I figured Ash would've brought that up." He shrugged, leaning back into the couch now, arms behind his head. At least if Ash was taken, he might still have a chance with this cutie. "So what's your name? You work for Ash's girlfriend?" He tried to gain some clarity in the situation as Nora and Ash shuffled into their bedroom and closed the door.

Nora made sure to give Audrey an assuring glance and smile before entering their bedroom. It was decorated with a mish mosh of goth and punk accessories. The bed was covered in a silky black bedspread. Nora took a seat on the bed, still obviously miffed about the entire situation. However, she would do her best to understand before lashing out. "I've told you plenty of times about Audrey. She's my bookkeeper. After I hadn't heard from you, I decided to ask her out for some drinks. You should know that I wouldn't do anything without your permission."

Her words were like venom, hating the fact that Ash didn't trust her. Yet, in a hypocritical sort of way, she wanted to know the details about this guy who came lumbering in with her girlfriend. "Is he the esteemed Hal you always bring up?" She raised her eyebrow in curiosity. She remembered Ash telling her vague details, one of which being a fucked up eye. Nora just knew that if Hal and Ash had crossed the line, she'd beat the shit out of him. She didn't care if he towered above her, she was fierce enough to scare any man.

sylvanSpider 01-08-2018 07:07 PM

Audrey bit her lip feeling Hal's eyes raking across her body and she crossed her legs, gulping. She wondered if he could feel the electricity in the air as well. To Audrey, it was palpable. He was powerful, able to reach his full wolf form, his scent filling her nostrils. "I'm kind of amazed she didn't," Audrey said honestly, tearing her eyes away from the alpha, finding a spot on the floor to focus on instead. She was amazed that she was able to keep her human form for this long given the incredible amount of feeling coursing through her body. "But yes, I do work for her girlfriend. I'm...I'm Aubrey." She returned the smile to her employer, nodding to her to let her know that she, as a guest, didn't mind if matters needing attention were taken care of.

Ash closed the door with her back watching Nora take her place on the bed. She sighed and looked over at Nora, "I guess the part that I'm not understanding is why she's at our place? Or what you guys did all night?" She groaned and rolled her eyes, "Rich, coming from me, right? Yeah, that guy's Hal. But you're not gonna fuckin' believe it, Nora. I think he's a werewolf. No, no, I know he's a werewolf. But even he doesn't know it. He doesn't believe it, but I promise you, he is! And he would've gotten in trouble last night if it wasn't for me. I was just a fuckin' babysitter all night! I didn't do anything with him--that's why I brought him here. For you to meet, you see?" Her countenance was as exasperated as her voice now and she ran her fingers in between her dreads, hoping that Nora could believe her.

Audrey gulped and looked from the closed bedroom door to Hal, "So...do they know? I don't think Nora knows about me; I was able to keep my complete human form last night, luckily. God, I have such unfortunate luck, I don't know what I'd do if I happened to turn last night and she saw...I just...I just can't say no, given ah...what I am..."

Worm 01-08-2018 07:27 PM

Nora couldn't help but roll her eyes, blushing softly. "Well I can't say that Audrey's a fucking werewolf." She scoffed. "But dommes get lonely too, Ash. And I was worried sick! We just stayed up and watched Bladerunner with some wine. It was nice, but uh, I was expecting you to be home at some point!" She shook her head, trying to take in the obviously fictitious story that Ash tried to lay on her. "A werewolf, really?" She sighed.

On the other side, Hal had no reservations here. In fact, he could feel a tingle in his spine, like hair standing up. He always thought this was a normal feeling, and in some ways it was, but most humans didn't grow a spiny mohawk of hair down their backs. Though, he wasn't really aware of it at this point. He leaned in, taking a breath of Audrey's delightful perfume. "Nice to meet you Audrey." He smiled. "Though, sort of awkward circumstances." He chuckled, looking into the well decorated living room. The television was off now, which made him wonder how long this girl had been in Ash's apartment.

"Huh?" He turned his head back to Audrey, head cocked slightly. "Complete human form." He laughed snarkily. "I totally feel ya there." He of course was referring to something completely different than what Audrey was. He assumed that she was talking about social norms and anxiety. Something he did worry about from time to time. Though this would be the first time someone would open up so honestly about those issues. He grinned, warm from the thought of this girl opening up for him in many ways. He licked his lips, gray ears popping up from under his long, brown hair.

sylvanSpider 01-08-2018 07:37 PM

Ash squeezed the bridge of her nose. Nora wasn't buying it. Not in the slightest. What was shitty about the entire thing was the fact that Ash told her nothing but the truth. "Yes. Yes. You heard that fuckin' right. A werewolf..." she could see that Nora was still struggling to comprehend it, and probably wasn't even trying to comprehend it. Sighing, she climbed on top of Nora, straddling her and tucking a stray bit of raven black hair behind her ear, "Nora. Have I ever lied to you? Even once? (Ahhhh...dishes don't count...) I'm asking you to believe me, please. I need you to believe me. If we can get him to stay long enough, you'll see." Ash was so busy trying to prove her point that she'd almost forgotten Audrey. The way that Nora said it, she knew that she was telling the truth.

The small blonde smiled warmly, "It is nice to meet you. But ah..," here, she pointed to the top of his head, "Shouldn't you hide those before Nora and Ash? That was her name, right? Ah...before they get back."

Worm 01-08-2018 08:46 PM

Nora blushed even harder as Ash forced her way into Nora's face. She smiled, once again, pleased and surprised by this woman. "Alright, alright." She giggled openly and pulled Ash closer to her, planting a kiss on her cheek near her right ear. "We'll keep your little pet." She whispered into her ear and pushed her away jesting.

Nora could only hope that what Ash was saying was the truth. After all, she'd always fantasized about supernatural dudes... She shook the thought away though and grabbed Ash's hand as they walked back into the living room. Hal was struggling to understand what Audrey was suggesting, blankly patting his head to mimic her. When he felt two little tufts of fur above where his ponytail usually sat, he felt his heart pound harder. And he could feel when he touched them. The flicked as a natural response, and Hal began screaming, also as a natural reaction.

With Nora and Ash walking out to see him freaking out, Hal couldn't contain it any longer. Hair ruptured his skin and lifted his shirt from his chest, revealing an incredibly hairy set of abs. He whipped his head back and forth between the group of two and the tasty little omega. His eyes were drawn back to Ash, locking on, feeling like he knew her. Then they peeled away to the omega, her scent driving him wild. He crawled towards her, fangs erect and foaming at the maw as he growled. A tail made its way out of his jeans, the button popping off. It stood straight up, as an alpha's would, reading the room.

"HOLY FUCK ASH!" Nora jumped, holding her mouth for a moment before running towards the kitchen to grab a wooden cutting board. She ran back into the living room, pushing Ash to the side, and leapt in the air, slamming the wooden board directly onto the top of Hal's skull. Without time to move, all Hal could do was look up with his bad eye and stumble to the ground as everything turned black. His fur receded back into skin as he lost consciousness.

sylvanSpider 01-09-2018 01:33 AM

Ash grinned, knowing that she had her. She knew that Nora couldn't resist when Ash actually got all lovey, which was exactly what she was doing at that moment, Softly touching Nora's face with the back of her finger, down her eye, down her cheek, tracing her lips. She offered a smile, too, leaning in for a kiss as she whispered, “Thank you, mistress.”

Ash felt like she floated into the room, hoping now that Hal would bite. As far as she was concerned, she had a new pet. Audrey cocked an eyebrow, amazed that he was amazed that his ears were out and she gulped. His pheromones filling the room, she could feel herself starting to lose control of her own form, her own ears coming out, just in time to see Nora and Ash coming through the door. “S-see?! I fuckin' told you! Now, Hal, it's me, Ash! Remember me?” She cursed under her breath, wishing she'd brought the stick with her, her eyes scanning the room for anything that looked as though it might pique the interest of the wolf.

Then, she saw it, Audrey had the ears too. Audrey was a motherfuckin' werewolf too! “And when were you gonna fuckin' tell me about this!?” she asked, gesturing to the omega who was now ducking around Hal and out the door.

Worm 01-11-2018 01:24 AM

Nora's breath was jagged as she stood above the drooling mass of fur which slowly began to resemble a man. Ash's voice snapped her out of the trance she was in and she whipped her head back to see Audrey. Her eyes widened and without thought, she stomped towards the door where she tried to escape. She reached and grabbed Audrey by her hair and yanked her back inside. She didn't want to hurt the girl, but she was so worked up that she couldn't control herself. She wanted to know what the hell was going on!

"Ash shut the fuck up! And Audrey -" She locked the door, pinching between her eyes. "How the hell did I not know this?" To be honest, it didn't make any sense. The fact that Nora had been working with Audrey for more than a year now and never knew. Yet Ash here finds some random dude she's barely talked to, and finds out that he's a werewolf. You'd think that that would be a highly guarded secret. Or maybe... This was just a dream...

She stood in front of the door and looked over three strangers. She was so confused and livid that she couldn't even see Ash as the same person. So Nora tried to shake it off. At least Audrey wasn't trying to attack anyone. Hal formed a puddle of drool on the hardwood floor where his head landed. "And what the hell are we gonna do with this fucker?" Nora pointed at the passed out dog boy.

sylvanSpider 01-11-2018 08:25 PM

“I don't mean to say I told you so, buuuut,” here Ash gestured to Hal, who was now beginning to change back into his human form. Aubrey, meanwhile, was gasping and goosestepping backwards being led by her hair and the claws of her employer.

When she let go, Audrey made sort of a pouting look, scratching behind her ears. The alpha's changing back meant that his pheromones were no longer controlling. She could start to force herself to change, and before too long, she was back to her human self. “It's ah...not necessarily something I broadcast, Miss Nora,” she squeaked sheepishly, looking down, avoiding eye contact.

Ash pressed her lips in a firm line, her brow crinkling as fumbled around for her phone, snapping a picture. “I don't know...I brought him here hoping that you could help us figure something out...I've never dealt with a werewolf before.” Here, her eyes went to Audrey, a werewolf who actually had experience as a werewolf.

“Don't look at me! I'm not an alpha! What you saw with me is what you get; I don't make the full transformation!”

Worm 01-12-2018 09:38 PM

Nora's eyes widened after Audrey's quick response. She zoomed in and whipped to her side. "Now now Audrey, you know a lot more about this shit than we do." Nora looked back at Ash, shrugging her shoulders with her first attempt to persuade Audrey. "I mean, you must be really good if you didn't lose all control like Ash's friend here." Nora bobbed her head back to where Hal was lying. He bubbled drool, snorted and flipped around. "Huhh wass goin' on?" He mumbled, grabbing his spinning head and spitting between words as he regained consciousness.

sylvanSpider 01-14-2018 03:47 AM

Audrey looked from Nora to the now waking up form of an alpha, gulped, and looked back to Nora, "It's not that I can control myself better...it's that he's an alpha--that was the most intense my uh...other side...has ever gotten. I reacted based on the fact that I'm an omega..." her voice trailed off and she looked back down at Hal, seeing Ash crouch down beside him waving a hand in his face.

"Can you hear me? It's me, Ash; you're in my apartment."

Worm 01-16-2018 12:46 AM

Nora's voice softened, believing everything that Audrey had to say. It was written in her face that she was vulnerable and scared. "Alpha?...Omega?..." She looked down at Hal's waking form, then up at Ash. "Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not sure what that all means." She took a deep breath, realizing how dizzy she was, she sat down on the couch and invited Audrey back to it by patting on the gray cushion.

Ash's voice was like a siren calling through the mist. It all came back to him as if in a dream. "Y-your apartment?" He held his head, trying to find something to hold onto, as the world felt like it was spinning still. "H-how did I get ... here?" He fished for Ash's familiar voice, finally landing on the intoxicating scent of... her. He remembered now. He was on the couch with her. What was her name? His eyes were focused on Audrey, staring blatantly.

Nora scoffed, looking back to Audrey with an assuring glance. "Don't worry about him. You've seen me take him down. I've got you." She smiled the way a mother would to a child, opening her arms and patting on the couch once again.

sylvanSpider 01-16-2018 01:50 AM

Ash scoffed, exhaling through her nose a scowl all too obvious on her face. Sure, she'd believe everything her precious little pet worker said, but she wouldn't believe her own girlfriend? “I don't recognize omega. But isn't 'alpha' a wolf term? Like, the leader of the pack or some shit?”

Audrey closed her eyes, sighing, “Yes. Same terminology. Alphas at the top. Omegas at the bottom. I'm at the bottom, meaning I can't get a form like that, even in my strongest state. Hal, on the other hand, can't seem to make the conscious decision to take on that form. Leads me to believe he doesn't know yet...” Audrey sat back down, squirming in her seat, conscious of the alphas consciousness, her eyes, despite Nora's assurance, stayed locked on his, though out of more respect than anything else.

“You came here with me,” Ash told Hal, fumbling once more for her phone to show him what she'd captured, “And it turns out my girlfriend has a friend who's also a werewolf, so I guess you're in luck!” Ash offered the werewolf a shit-eating grin that could only say I-fuckin-told-ya-so as she thrust her phone into Hal's hands.

Worm 01-18-2018 03:56 PM

Nora held her chin, trying to absorb the information. It actually made quite a lot of sense. But it made her wonder how many werewolves were around in that case. And how many other things must also exist. ”How the hell could he not know?” She whipped her head to Ash, a befuddled face on. Hal was caught in the eyes of the omega, the words werewolf and alpha and omega seemed to barely phase him. It was all beginning to become too real.

He gently tilted Ash’s phone so that he could see the image from his seated position. He didn’t take his eyes from Audrey’s until the screen was in his view. He pursed his lips. ”I don’t know, its pretty blurry.” He shrugged, looking at the blur of brown fur and gnashing teeth. ”It could just be a dog for all I know.” He held his arms up and behind his head cockily, grinning like the nit wit he was. Even though he knew it was true, he still wanted to play with the idea that it wasn’t.

”Are you fucking DAFT boy?” Nora shouted, hands on hips. ”We all just saw you go full on beast! I had to smack you over the head so you wouldn’t eat poor Audrey here!” She furrowed her eyebrows, giving him a stern look.

He chuckled loudly, leaning back into his arm hammock. ”I doubt I’d eat her.” He snickered. ”Probably fuck her though.” He shrugged.

sylvanSpider 01-19-2018 01:22 AM

“I don't fuckin' know! That's why I took a picture, because he didn't believe me when I told him the first fuckin' time!” Ash exclaimed, narrowing her eyes at the werewolf on her living room floor. The entire thing was frustrating when all of the evidence was on her side. The black outs were the biggest and most undeniable indicator. How could he have never thought about recording himself before? That would have answered his question relatively quickly. Instead, he had someone fucking spell it out for him and he still didn't believe her! She pointed a spot on the screen, narrowing her eyes until they were little more than slits, tapping her nail against the screen, “That's your fuckin' face and you are in major denial if you say that isn't fuckin' you.”

So far, every person in the room had uttered, or more like screamed, the word “fuck.” There was no decency here. Audrey didn't expect any from the alpha. There was never any decency from alphas unless they had no need to flaunt their dominance; but the humans? She expected more from her employer. Still, there was something sexy in the way she handled herself. Nora was gorgeous, even moreso when she was putting her wit in the spotlight. Audrey squirmed uncomfortably in her seat at the mention of eating her. That part wasn't likely, alphas had other plans that--

Audrey squeaked, straightening in her seat, looking at Hal with wide eyes her mouth instantly going dry. Had she still had her wolf ears out, they would have been pressed flat against her head. As it was, however, her fingers laced and unlaced, laced and unlaced, stopping only to wipe clammy hands on the pencil skirt she'd put on the day before.

Ash snorted, “You're fucking kidding, right? I mean, you're welcome to try, if my girlfriend doesn't get a taste of her first.”

Worm 01-19-2018 02:16 AM

Hal pouted, falling to his back so he could stare at the ceiling. "I guess I just don't get it... I mean... I feel like I knew all along... But I didn't... How did I not know... You're right... Miss... Ash's girlfriend." he sighed off his poor name retention. Nora tapped her foot looking back at the girls.

"Well first off. I'm not letting him touch Audrey without her consent. I don't know how you dogs handle things, but this is a human household." she said in a stern voice. "And secondly, neither of you are putting a paw on my girl, without my permission." she scooped Ash close to her, holding her hip against Nora's own squishy side.

Hal chuckled again, causing Nora to go bright red. "What the hell is so funny, werewolf boy?" her tone was irritated.

"Nothing." he shook his head, a dumb smile on his face.

"Uhm, excuse me?" now she was getting really mad.

"Look who's an alpha now." he rolled his eyes, though only one was visible.

Nora smiled, even though she was obviously passed pissed. "You're damn right boy. And you better get your shit together before coming back here. I've got plenty of collars with your name on it!"

"Ooh, kinky." he chuckled to Nora's dismay.

"Audrey." she moved on, straight up ignoring Hal's comment. "What should I know about you guys? I mean... Is the full moon thing true? Do you know any other werewolves? Do you guys normally have packs?" she squinted her eyes in confusion. There was so much she didn't know. It was up to Audrey to fill them in.

"Nope, not me. I'm a looonnneeee wolf." Hal bantered, swinging one of his legs over his crossed, bent knee, still on his back.

"Hal. You need to shut the hell up or so help me -" she groaned, flustered. "How could you like this guy?" she looked back at Ash, half kidding half entirely serious.

sylvanSpider 01-19-2018 06:03 PM

Ash sighed, moving her hands to her hips, shaking her head in disbelief. Finally, he was beginning to see. Pity that once again it took Nora to even get her point across. Even her proof wasn't good enough for him, it took Nora. It was frustrating to be disregarded that strongly, particularly when she was the one that was initially trying to help him. She couldn't help but smile, however, when her beloved scooped her up, claiming her as her own.

Audrey wanted to say that she had no intention of laying a paw (though she did appreciate the pun) on Ash, who she decided right then that she didn't like. Even this human seemed to put her in her place, which was fine with Nora. Not so much her weaker counterpart. She gulped, lifting her eyes when she added “without my permission.” The pair must have been in an open relationship, hence the presence of the two wolves. What an insane coincidence!

“The full moon thing?” the smaller of the wolves asked, half-grinning, “It's true in the sense that we all tend to go a bit...crazy, and our changes are involuntary on those nights...but as you just saw, it's not limited to full moons. Most of us can change at will, or will react to the other's scent as you saw in ah...in my case,” she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, thankful that once again she had control over herself. She gulped and continued her explanation, “Hal didn't because he was willfully ignorant of his condition, but generally, yes. They resemble human gangs to an extent, a staunch hierarchy put into play—different members from the different hierarchies each seeming to play a different game. For alphas it's all about territory and how many others they can get as followers. Betas will tend to hang out as seconds in command with the alphas. It's a safe place to be, and the stronger the alpha they follow, the better off they are. Betas are more likely to shift between packs for this reason. As for those like me? Well, the others tend to fight for us, and we tend to go with the winner—whether we want to or not. We aren't strong enough to fight back, but we are pretty fast. So if escape is an option, some will take it. Others will like the pack they are with and stick around, praying that a stronger alpha doesn't come along. We're ah...we're the most desired types to have in a pack...”

Audrey found a spot on the floor, focusing on it and hoping she didn't ask that fateful question of “why” they were the most desired and left it at that, at least for the moment. Her fingers laced and unlaced, laced and unlaced, before she looked back up at Hal for only a brief moment, looking again at Nora, “Alphas without a pack are seen as weak.”

Ash snorted, bursting out in a fit of laughter, “Hear that, Hal? Mister Lonewolf isn't as bad ass as he hoped!” She shook her head, beaming over at Nora, “You don't think he's charming in his own right? I detect some charm.”

Worm 01-20-2018 03:15 AM

Hal wasn't explicitly trying to ignore Ash's suggestions, its just that... He liked to play around with her. He liked feeling lighthearted and fun with her. When she brought up the werewolf thing and kept pressing it, it felt like she was harshing his mellow. So until Nora really, and quite literally, got up in his face about it, he had no choice but to accept it. It would've been so much easier to just pretend like it wasn't a problem. He sighed, finally flipping back up to a seated position.

"Well then.. I guess you guys are my pack." He leaned into his hand, grimacing as he said so, and rolling his single eye again.

"Hey! Don't act so disappointed!" Nora stomped her foot, glaring at Hal. "For all you know, we're all you've got!" She hmphed, and looked over to Ash, leaning her head on her shoulder. Even though Nora was taller than Ash, her shoulder wasn't too awkward of a balancing post.

"Yeah, well. I guess at least I've got an omega then?" He shrugged, sending stinging glances in Audrey's direction. "Unless of course, I've got to fight for you." He licked his lips, wondering if this little girl had any juicy secrets. He could feel that primal energy rising in his body again, this time he paused to take deep breaths, trying to tame it.

"So how would he go about controlling this thing then?" Nora lifted her head up, exchanging glances with the two werewolves with watchful eyes. "I mean, obviously you guys have to control it or... you'd get caught and hung as a display on some redneck's mantle... How did you get away with it all this time, Hal? I feel like someone must've known..."

Hal felt a lump rise in his throat. His mom. Of course she knew... Why'd she have to die and leave him with this kind of curse? It didn't make sense... Maybe he died with her, and this was just some kind of shitty dream for his ghost to find peace... Or something like that. He shook his head, fully sobered. "I'm hungry." He muttered, looking up to Nora like a needy child.

sylvanSpider 01-28-2018 08:37 PM

“Your pack? Don't you need, y'know, fuckin' wolves in your pack?” Ash asked cocking her eyebrow. It wasn't as if she was turning him down; on the contrary, the question was more one of logistics. She didn't understand how any of it worked yet, and she didn't know how far down this rabbit hole she wanted to go, or, how far Nora wanted to go for that matter.

Audrey shifted in her seat, continuing with the lacing and unlacing of her fingers, her legs keeping perfectly still. “It's, it's been a thing before. It's actually quite common. Some packs will have token honorary clan members, but those are generally just being used to infiltrate the law system and pick up talk about the town, maybe even pick up on other packs' activity.” She raised her eyes, briefly looking to Ash and then Nora, “The choice is yours, though it seems as if I don't have much of a choice; you're the only alpha around to claim me. The nearest pack is in the next town over.” Audrey squirmed, feeling Hal's gaze on her and looked up at him in time to see him wetting his lips in anticipation.

Ash folded her arms, looking from wolf to wolf knowing that certainly her life was taking a turn at this moment, though she wasn't entirely sure on where. She and Nora agreed on Hal as a toy, but with the knowledge that he was not only a werewolf, but an alpha one at that, she wasn't sure that he would be their toy s much as the opposite. Audrey, she could see, was already his; a fact readily seen by everyone in the room. Can alphas control it?” she finally asked.

“They...can,” Audrey muttered, tentatively, “Theirs is a much more powerful transformation though, so it takes more power to control it. But, the first step in being able to do just that is acknowledging what you are, get in touch with that other side so to speak.”

Ash sighed, shaking her head. This was something that she felt she could do nothing for. She knew nothing about the wolves, save for what she'd just learned, and the omega was saying that it was all just a matter of willing it? It seemed like simple of an answer to this problem that had plagued Hal since he was a child. “I'll make some breakfast,” she said at length, “How do eggs sound?”

Worm 01-29-2018 12:36 AM

Nora squeezed her brows together, still concerned about this whole ranking system. "Now, now, now, Audrey... I will make sure you're not going home with any brute like Hal, or any alpha from the next town." She smiled gently. "You're safe with me, I'm not afraid of werewolves." While the comment was meant to be calming, it came off as a bit naive to Hal. He shook his head, chuckling.

"Yeah, you say that now. But what if there was a group of three of mes? Like three big, huge alphas?" He waved his arms to exemplify their largeness. "Oh, eggs sound great! Any bacon?" He stood up, stretching his arms and twisting his abdomen back and forth.

"I've got a rack full of collars and leashes in our room." Nora stated matter-of-factly, pointing with a thumb to hers and Ash's bedroom. "Besides, I've dealt with handsy men in the past and I know just where to punt them." She crossed her arms, clearly annoyed with Hal's belittling comments.

"Hey, if you guys can technically be part of a werewolf pack. Does that mean you've got ranks too?" Hal smiled, still trying to tear himself from the intoxicating scent of Audrey's. "Cus I mean... I was obviously drawn to Ash... And Nora, not so much..." He looked at Nora, a dumb smile on his fucked up face, almost regretting his comment.

sylvanSpider 02-02-2018 06:05 PM

Audrey pressed her lips together, looking up at her employer. Her gracious, kind, intelligent employer. Nora bore with her the face of one attempting to be comforting, but one who had no idea what she was getting herself into. She was naive. Despite this, the small werewolf mustered a smile, “It isn't a matter of fear I'm afraid, Miss Nora. You were fortunate to have met Hal and I—an omega and an alpha who has no idea what he's doing. Alphas that do know what they are doing...they're...they're terrifying, and they command not only respect, but fear as well.” She swallowed and looked down, “In the case of...of the latter...I have but two choices, to concede or to run. If we make a pack, there is a good chance those in the next town will hear about it. They will be eager to claim me back once they find that I'm here. They are under the belief that they run this town as well, coming here only when things get too hot.”

Audrey's eyes shifted back up to Hal. He, too, was naive, “Three big, huge alphas would only be working together under the pretense of an allegiance. Allegiances between packs are weak and liable to dissolve at any moment, including when human prey are in sight. If humans are greedy, a werewolf alpha is greed incarnate.”

Ash kept her eyes folded, her eyes resting on whoever was speaking at the moment, tapping her foot lightly. She was not meaning to exude a feeling of impatience, but if one were to describe her in a word it would be that. Audrey's mode of speaking was oddly formal at all times it seemed, and she wondered if she spoke the same way around others not her employer, or other wolves. Then, the way she was speaking now, she made it seem like she didn't really have a voice with other wolves. Audrey was a shy, timid little thing, submissive in nature and perfect prey for someone like Nora to employ. She could see why she'd hired her. She said nothing, choosing to keep her mouth shut and listen. Best not to play the fool.

Audrey spoke for her, wide eyes looking up at Nora, “Collars and leashes? Miss Nora, forgive me, but I haven't seen nor caught scent of a dog since stepping into your apartment---”

“They're for people use,” Ash said, a wry grin directed at Audrey, complete with a pair of waggling eyebrows.

Audrey paled. The leashes weren't for the obedience of an animal. It was likely that those leashes and collars had been used on Ash and she gulped. They apparently had a thing for hierarchies as well. Instead of responding to that, however, she responded to Hal's question, “Humans essentially earn their ranks. For us, it's biological. I could have a burst of confidence and attempt to take command, but ultimately it's a futile battle. I'd still emanate the scent of an omega, the pheromones of an omega. The humans are more free to decide. Of course, when a human joins a wolf pack, regardless of how dominating they are, they would never be able to overtake an alpha unless they were a trained werewolf hunter. Which, speaking of, is another problem that wolves deal with. Thankfully, for those like me, they tend to leave omegas alone.”

Worm 03-25-2018 10:01 PM

Hal rubbed the back of his head, a swollen bump forming where he was hit. "Yeah. And these ladies sure a'int earning their ranks." He scoffed, giving the stink eye to Nora.

"Oh, don't be a baby!" She snarled, crossing her arms as she watched Ash make her way to the kitchen. Her interests were piqued the moment that Audrey mentioned werewolf hunters. An arched brow moved with hazel eyes as they met Audrey's. "So you mean, there's other humans that know about this too?" She wandered in thought. How could supernatural creatures actually exist in a place like this? How did she not know? She walked softly towards the couch and plopped down between Audrey and Hal. Her arm extending behind Audrey's shoulders to form a protective barrier around her.

"Have you ever met a werewolf hunter?" She pressed her brows together, concerned and genuinely curious. Her world had opened up immensely.

"Hey! Maybe that's why this dude kept following me." Hal scrolled through his smart phone to find poorly lit photos of a man in a trench coat. They were blurry and taken at odd angles. "I always thought it was just 'cus ... Y'know. I'm an attractive fellow and -" He smiled with pride, his scarred eye twitching as if it were wide open.

"Oh shut it." Nora groaned. "I doubt it was your looks, mister washed up loser." She rolled her eyes.

Hal grimaced, flicking faster through the pictures on his phone and leaning towards Audrey to show her. "Well excuuuuseeee me. Ash thought I was hot." He shot a glance back at the punky girl in the kitchen, sticking his tongue out playfully at her. Nora shuddered.

"Yeah. Ash likes anything with legs..." Nora muttered beneath her breath. That's why she needed to keep Ash on a leash after all...

"But SERIOUSLY. What if he's like - a hunter and is watching me..." He hyperfocused on the current picture from his camera roll, hoping to find any distinguishing features. Nora snatched it from his hands, now that he was close enough to the girls on the couch. "Hey!" He responded, mouth agape as he sat crosslegged on the hardwood floor.

"Let me see. Maybe I'll know him." She didn't want to say anything, but Nora knew a lot of creeps... She leaned back in the couch and tilted the phone so Audrey could glance as well.

sylvanSpider 03-25-2018 10:48 PM

Ash shot her own stank eye in Hal's direction, “Excuse you? What am I doing to not earn a valid rank in this so called wolf pack? I was the one that figured all this shit out, no thanks to you, Mr. Alpha.” She pulled up a chair from the kitchen and placed it to where the group could be situated in a sort of almost circle and crossed her leg, leaning back in the chair only to cross her arms.

Audrey nodded glumly, “In fact, I'd argue that they are more dangerous than other packs.” She shook her head as if warding away some unwanted memory and pressed on, “You can always guage how safe you are with a pack based on how compliant you are or willing to pledge to a pack...Hunters? Some of them believe they are doing God's work by exterminating all of us. Others simply want to put to rest those of us that are a threat. It can be difficult distinguishing the two, and dangerous when you can't.” She wanted to lean her head into Nora's shoulder, now deliciously in her reach, but the presence of her girlfriend a few feet away kept her from doing just that.

Then, if her girlfriend was jealous in the slightest, she didn't show it. Ash sat leaned back in her chair and her lustful eyes seemed indiscriminate as they roved among the members of their group. Perhaps she was the reason they considered their relationship open. “You say that like don't still think you're hot,” she said chuckling, “Oh, don't give me that look, Nora baby. I like 'em rugged sometimes. I get enough of the soft but commanding feminine wiles from your gorgeous ass as it is, if I'm gonna expand my territory, it's gonna be something that isn't already perfected by the fox I get to call my girlfriend.” She winked at Nora and laced her fingers behind her head, a self-satisfied smirk curling her lips only for it to fade as she opened one eye menacingly toward Nora, “Not anything with legs. I've got standards, you know.”

Audrey peered down at the screen Nora held and bobbed her head up and down as she assessed the image, “There's a big chance that he is a hunter and that he caught onto you like Ash did. He hasn't made any action yet though? No attacking you while in wolf form? Or human form for that matter?”

“I don't think he'd be able to tell you if he had during wolf form, Audrey,” Ash added to Audrey grinning, “He has no recollection of his being a wolf.”

Worm 03-29-2018 02:12 AM

Nora held back a smile as her girl managed to both compliment her partner and admit to being attracted to the buffoon next to them. However, it was hard not to blush. "Well, you can have him." Was all she said, leaning back a little more comfortably now. She zoomed in on the picture that Hal took. The man in suspect was leaning against a wall, it was raining, and the picture looked as if it were taken at hip height. With a little more stretch, she was able to see his face.

"Holy shit. I think that's the guy from LeatherWorx downtown." Nora squinted hoping that it would help her see more clearly. She looked over at Ash for recognition. "Look." She swung the clunky smartphone over to her.

"Hey, careful with my phone!" Hal whined, extending his hands in case of a falling phone.

"Its the owner, Max." She gave a concerned glance to Ash, a secret conversation brewing between them. Both of them had gotten strange feelings about the guy previously.

"So? Is he a hunter?" Hal stressed, clamboring over so he could look at the screen also. Nora pushed him back with a foot as she kept close with Ash and Audrey.

"Where have you been spotting him?" Nora focused back on Hal and handed his phone to him. He wiped off the screen and put it in his hoodie pocket.

"Well, the first time I saw him was... Huh..." He looked down, shaking his head. "To be honest, I feel like I've seen him since I was pretty young..." He scratched the back of his matted head, concerned about his mental stability. "But the last few times were all pretty close together. After my shifts, sometimes I'll see him walking towards me from the alleyway in between the diner and Pizza Joe's."

Nora glanced at the digital clock on their kitchen stove. "Audrey, we've got a lot of questions... And it seems that you're the only one with answers. If we're not keeping you, we'd love to eat some breakfast and chat some more. You're welcome to stay as long as you'd like." She smiled warmly towards her secretary.

"And Hal, you're welcome also. At least until we can figure out how to keep you safe." Of course, this extended to both of them. Nora wasn't too keen on letting either of these creatures back into the world and out of her control. "But, I wanted to ask you Audrey. How did you get along, knwoing you were a werewolf? You seem to know a lot about it... Were you raised by a pack? Do you have family? Have you been hunted?" She paused and chuckled sardonically. "Its just hard for me to understand how you could've kept this all hidden, and- I feel lost. Like so many things have been right beneath my feet that I've never even noticed." She shook her head, eyes wide behind her black frames.

sylvanSpider 04-02-2018 06:02 PM

Ash leaned back, a smile on her face that seemed to speak to the fact that she knew she said the right thing. “So, what say you, Hal? Can I have you?” She raised her eyebrows at him, that wry grin staying in its place. She'd never been with a werewolf before. But then, she'd hoped he'd be in his human form if ever anything did take place.

“LeatherWorx?” Audrey asked Nora, tilting her head, “Isn't that the place that--”

“Yes,” Ash finished for her, winking and getting a certain sense of satisfaction at seeing the girl shudder. After all, the leashes were already mentioned. It would be simple enough for a clever girl like herself to figure out Ash leaned over Audrey's lap to get a good look at the phone, “He does kind of look like him though, doesn't he? Down to the same general outfit and everything.”

Audrey gulped, “It's...it's difficult to say. Unless he's actually attacked you or you detected silver in dangerous amounts on his person, it would be impossible to say.” Audrey fiddled with her hands, squirming a bit in her seat wondering if she was really going to be pulled into another pack. This pack, however, seemed a bit more relaxed, and could possibly, possibly be one that she actually held sway in. Of course, all of this was contingent on whether Hal would realize his true potential for being an alpha or not. “I don't have as much answers as I'd like, unfortunately. But if you've been seeing him for a long while, there's a chance he's been monitoring you, aware of your condition, but also aware of the fact that you don't mean to pose a threat to others. I could...I could go for some breakfast,” The last sentence was sort of tacked on, but she was being bombarded with questions and needed to answer all of them.

Ash got to her feet and stretched, “Alright, Audrey's in, what about you, Hal? Am I making breakfast for four?”

Worm 04-10-2018 08:58 PM

Hal narrowed his eyes playfully, strumming his chin with his fingers. "What exactly are you suggesting, Ash?" He smiled, breaking his obviously faked seriousness. "Cus if I'm yours... Does that make you the alpha?" He cocked his head, now more confused than he should have been.

Nora stopped the stupidity, giving a glare of "how dumb are you?" to Hal. "Whatever. We can figure out pack logistics later. We need to figure out food." Hal rolled his eye. "I've been saying that I was hungry this whole damn time. C'mon now." He wanted to be stern and such, but he was kinda happy that the cute girl from the diner actually liked him. He couldn't stop smiling once in a while.

"Alright. So are we going out to eat, or - ?" Nora suggested, looking over the three, particularly Ash who would normally handle the cooking. "Bill's on me if we go anywhere." She mentioned, not wanting to put that kind of pressure on her significant other.

"Ooh ooh! Yes! Let's go to the den." He grinned ear to ear as if he were a small child begging his mother. By den, of course he meant the diner that Ash and him met at. "Is that the only place you eat at?" Nora growled.

"N-no! You just met me! How the fuck would you know what I eat?!" He shot back with an accusatory glance.

"Whatever. Let's get going." She looked at her phone for the time before popping up again to add on. "Unless either of you cuties had another suggestion?" She looked to each of them with a gentle pressure. Only because she wasn't the most patient person when she was hungry, and she certainly liked to impress her friends. Plus, she didn't want to make Audrey regret coming over.

sylvanSpider 04-10-2018 09:59 PM

Ash smirked, cocking her eyebrow in a dare for him to test her, "That depends. What do you think I'm suggesting and is it something you'd be interested in?" Ash crossed her legs and leaned back, slumping into her chair in a brief melding with the furniture, "I can be the alpha if you want, but I'm out of practice."

Audrey sat pale listening to the conversation, obviously not expecting to be in this situation. She'd been kept over the course of the night out of spite and ran into not only another werewolf, but an alpha, and one who didn't know what the hell he was doing.

Ash shrugged, "If you're offering to foot the bill, we could go out. I wouldn't mind cooking either though, provided we've got the shit for it. I'm poor as hell right now. Still waiting on my checked to get wired. The Den is cheap though, so it would be nice and we already have a vote for it. I'll go ahead and second it. The pie and coffee's good at least." She uncrossed her legs and struggled up from her slumped over position and stretched. "Shall we get going?"

Worm 04-11-2018 11:48 PM

Hal still wasn't sure what Ash was implying, but either way it made a tent rise in his pants the way she said it. Like a dog with its tongue lolling from its mouth, he watched the ladies discuss breakfast. "Then its settled." Nora noted before looking over to Audrey, perfectly uncomfortable. She had to wonder if her secretary had her own life that she'd put on hold for this unexpected adventure. She wondered what the life of an omega must be like.

"Audrey, is that okay with you?" Nora smiled warmly while grabbing her wallet and handbag. She was still in her clothes from the night before and rarely left the house in such a dilapidated manner. Her hair was pulled back, but her bun was messy. Her eyes showed a lack of sleep, comfortable bags resting beneath her piercing eyes. Hal leapt to his feet, following the lead. If he really was an alpha, Nora would be more than shocked. He seemed like a compliant lap dog. Maybe that would be easier to deal with than an actual alpha.

sylvanSpider 04-19-2018 03:14 PM

Ash took Hal's silence as a yes, that smirk staying on her face as she picked up a pillow and pressed it to his chest, "You're being indecent, Hal. Thought you were more classy than that. This might help to ah, hide it." She winked and wet her lips, her eyes drifting down to his nether regions - if only for a moment.

Had Audrey heard Nora's inner musings, she would have answered that she had utterly no life. She was a shut in, aside from work. Nora was essentially the only person she saw willingly, save for when she needed to get essentials from the store. Even then, she'd found ways to buy in bulk so those trips were sparse. She looked at the watch on her wrist, "Uhm, well, technically, I'm supposed to be at work with you at 10 a.m., and it's currently 9:30, so if it is alright with you, my employer, I'd be alright with that."

Worm 04-21-2018 04:01 AM

With the pillow shoved into his lap, Hal reddened. He gripped it close for a moment, taking a long breath through his nostrils, eyes closed so he could focus on other things. Like Ash's voice, her hair, her smell.... He shook his head, hoping to shake out all of the indecent thoughts.

Nora paid no attention to this exchange, giving Audrey the light of day now. When she mentioned the time, Nora was baffled. She craned her neck back to look at the digital clock on their wall. "Well... Aren't you punctual?" She smiled to her assistant. "Then, today we'll focus on making a safety agreement for Hal and - if you'd like - we can make one for you as well." Nora was not a secretive woman, but an organized one. She only told what information was necessary and at the appropriate times. It came in handy when working with her mysterious clients. Right now, she was happy to be self-employed with a dedicated employee such as Audrey.

"I'll discuss the details with you all over breakfast." She smirked. Hal finally got to his feet, tossing the pillow onto the couch where Nora just stood from.

"Does that mean I get paid too?" He joked, stretching his arms behind his head and yawning.

"Pai- NO!?" Nora screeched.

"Aww, but Audrey's getting paid to do this boring stuff... All I agreed to was breakfast." He sneered like an asshole.

"What, am I talking to a five year old?" She shot a glance back at Ash still unsure what she found in Hal.

"Do I have to fill out paperwork?" His face shifted between "let me poke Nora's buttons" to genuine curiosity.

"Well... That was what I had in mind." Nora fumed, glaring at Hal and projecting her self consciousness onto him.

"Just- Get moving. I'm driving." Nora sighed, snatching her car keys from the hook near their door before shoving Hal from behind. She forgot how big the man was, it felt like pushing against a door. After a moment of Nora struggling, he chuckled and began to move. How she got from one wild one to three, was a mystery.

sylvanSpider 04-24-2018 08:17 PM

If Ash was offended by Hal's biology acting up, she made no sign of it. Where a scowl would have been for others, a self-satisfied smirk lay etched on her features and she raised her eyebrows and gave a terse upwards nod to the alpha. She was loving every minute of this and she was going to be as bratty as humanly possible, if she could help it.

Audrey blinked with the sudden attention on her and she squirmed in her seat, “I uhm...I need to be attentive when I'm with my employer, yes?” Audrey was on her A-game, but then, she felt she needed to be. She had finally assimilated into human culture away from her old pack. Or, at least, she felt she had. Humans had jobs, right? She couldn't have been the only shut in, right? “Safety agreement? For me? You'd really do that?” Her eyes were wide, not expecting this little bit of kindness, but a safety agreement? She'd never had to draft documents like that for Miss Nora before, and what would such an agreement consist of? An NDA of sorts, maybe? That would be the only effective way she could cause harm to either her or Hal, after all. “What...what kind of safety agreement? What are the stipulations? Do you need me to draft those documents?”

Ash walked over to Hal, resting both arms on his shoulders and looked up at him smugly, “And what exactly would she be paying you for? If anything, it should be you paying her for approving of you in the first place.” She straightened and stretched half-skipping to the door to get this herd of cats moving. “I'm fuckin' hungry. Let's just go.”

Worm 05-02-2018 04:17 PM

Now at the diner, after a very loud and interesting car ride, each member of the slowly forming pack had food in front of them. Nora made sure to push each of them to order whatever their heart desired. Hal was shoveling food into his mouth at extreme speeds. Even though he worked here, he never got tired of waffles and bacon. He liked to make waffle sandwiches, which was what he’d managed to get from his coworker. A hot pot of coffee sat in the center of them, and was already getting low.

Nora reached out to pour another cup, but only managed to get a half cup. So she extended her arms to get the attention of a passing server. ”Yes, could we get another pot here?” She smiled, gesturing to the now empty pot. The server nodded and grabbed the empty one. ”Certainly!” Nora took her time to eat, using her silverware like a proper British person.

”So, the safety agreement.” Nora cleared her throat to bring up their business matters. ”This is mainly a contract to protect the identities of both of you.” Nora looked between the eyes of Audrey and Hal. ”And it is also to ensure that none of us overstep boundaries, while protecting the best interest of ourselves.” She slid a small handwritten piece of paper to Audrey.

1. All members are equal
2. In order to protect the omega, betas are required to stay with omegas in transport
3. Alphas are required to make sure that omegas are never alone, and that all members are equipped and trained
3. Consent and communication is required in every situation no matter what

”This is what I have so far.” Nora sipped her coffee, letting Audrey read. Hal leaned forward, seated across from Audrey. He wanted to see, but still allowed the omega to read. As she took her time, he sighed and leaned back, shoulders rubbing against Ash in the small booth.

”Audrey, you tell me if this looks acceptable and if we need anything else.” Nora adjusted her glasses, keeping an eye on the other customers in the diner. She didn’t want to think about the possibility of a hunter or another pack member hiding in plain sight. But now, she had to take all precautions.

sylvanSpider 05-20-2018 03:08 AM

Ash had no problem whatsoever in choosing what she wanted. Her heart's desire lay with a stack of thick french toast, drenched in butter and syrup. When the coffee came, she poured some for the others then filled her own cup, already bringing the pot halfway down again. They were coffee drinkers, apparently, and they were coffee drinkers that had evidently stayed up through the night. Ash was suffering more than Audrey in that regard, but that could have been accounted for in their biology. Werewolves were nocturnal. It was more than likely her job that cut into her resting hours.

Audrey settled with a simple set of toast and eggs, eating hers as daintily as Nora. “Identity protection is probably the most important thing a wolf has,” she murmured, nodding in agreement with her employer. Her eyes scanned the piece of paper and she set down her fork and knife and her brow furrowed in a sort of confused, albeit relieved manner. “Well, it's unlike anything I've ever had with a pack before, but I have to say that I like it. I'm not used to being an equal or having any sense of consent, but I think it will suit me nicely. The ah...one qualm I may have is number three. Hal is our one alpha here, and he doesn't know enough to train others.”

“Valid point,” Ash said agreeing. “He can't handle himself, let alone the affairs of others. So, we'll have to figure out how we can get him to control his impulses or even remember what he's doing in his other form.” Ash realized that they were speaking fairly loudly when she got a raised eyebrow from the table across the aisle and she smirked nodding to them, “It's a furry fantasy roleplay. Highly sexual. Feel free to keep listening, but I can't promise you'll like what you hear.”
