I've just been doing advancing in the regular dungeons, I'm at that in between point when the event dungeon I can do doesn't give enough exp, but the next level is too tough for me. Right now the difficulty of the normal ones give me plenty of exp and are not difficult just a bit tricky because its five colors and healing things (they are not round so I refuse to call them orbs x'D).

Also, for Illusion or Coda to answer, is there a way to make it so only certain colors come up in the normal dungeon? I tried making a team solely of red for example and I got the other colors as well. I thought the Rcc or whatever it is represents the frequency in which orbs of that color appears?

So If there is a wood temple, next is water, and so on. (I don't believe that is the exact order but you know...)

RCC is recover, so when you match heart orbs together RCC determines how much Hearts heal.


edit: DK good you beat Tower of Giants! Because it's the weekend the cost of the dungeon is in half. So for the rest of the day grind though the 3rd dungeon in Tower of Giants: Dragon guardians or whatever..... It's the best exp for stamina ratio until late game. Grind until level 90 or so.


This Wednesday is Godfest, so be sure to save all of your magic stones until then before you roll. Green Delgado isn't that rare of a monster, he is a decent one though. He is good leader for Balanced type monsters. And a great sub for balanced teams. A much better leader than anything you have currently.

After Tower of Giants is when the game slightly begins to slowly become difficult-ish. There is a weird curve in terms of difficulty, but this is intentional to have you keep spending money for better monsters.

edit: So! I found an english version APK that i downloaded to the pc to put on my kindle so my kindle now has the English Version and the Japanese Version With PADW! (amazon store only has the japanese version with PADW so i had to google hunt)

Urm...That didn't answer my question at all Illusion, I each area has an elemental theme about them, I was referring to the orbs you get to use in combat. XD I'll just take it as there is no way to drop the appearance of say wood orbs to zero in the normal dungeon. ^^;

Ooooh. Okay, gotcha.


There are monsters with the abilities to increase the drop rate of certain orbs, and they have awakened skills that can do the same also.

But I think the problem that your having (the one I did when I first started playing) is that you just connect the color of the orbs you wanted and that's it. What you should be doing is planning the orbs you want to use, then try to also connect and wipe off the other orbs you don't need so you have more of a chance of a orb you do need to drop.

So you have 3 fire orbs, but the rest of the board is other colors you don't need. You connect those 3 fire orbs then connect a whole bunch of the other orbs in hopes you get more fire ones.

There are also monster abilities to make more orbs as well.
And there are some dungeons that only drop certain elemental orbs. (Such as tri-dungeon that drops only fire, water, and wood.)

But yes, there is no concrete way to turn off one orb color, that would make the game too easy, let alone it would be very hard if not impossible for the the combo/counter to stop calculating because there will always be a new combo to be made. So even in a game makers point of view, that would be a big no no.

No. No it isn't.

And Red Sonia is Godfest exclusive, so you'll have to try to get her on Wednesday/Thursday.

But to put you on ease, my friend Emily waited out a week until Godfest and kept redoing the tutorial and managed to get Red Sonia as her first roll on Godfest, and then later rolled the Indian God Vritra (a dragon.)

I'm not having issues wiping the board, if I'm fast enough I can usually get at least half the board gone in one fell swoop. x'D I've done that at least five times in a normal dungeon, and I also hold off on certain abilities once they are charged until the bosses, like lowering enemy defense and increasing my own. :3 And the multiplied damage abilities as well. :3

Sometimes it's not good to hoard on your abilities until the bosses, I had to learn the hard way that's not a good way to play and the game takes advantage over you with this fact later on. My friend Billy who is huge on this game taught me this "Whenever your not using a skill, your effectively keeping yourself from using it now when you could had easily taken something out and let it recharge for later. The only exception is if you know you can't have it charge until then. But your life is top priority you shouldn't mess that up because you were saving your skill for the boss only."

Try and practice keeping one monster alive and burning through orbs you don't need to recharge your skills faster and things like that. It's a nice strategy to try out, and a very effective one once you master it. The only mishaps you have with it though is that you have a skyfall and made an attack killing the enemy before your move recharges. But that just takes practice and hope for the better chance that doesn't happen. (This game has a lot of luck based into it.)

If I need skills I do use them before the boss, though most of the time right now I don't because its easy enough to keep my health up with the combos I get. Later on I'll probably have to do that more often though, the stage I'm currently on is Castle of Satan-The Witches' Ball. Currently my team is poorly set up (Tyrannos, Angelit, Sylph, Keeper of Rainbow, Mid Water Ninja). But those are currently my strongest until I can get more monsters for the power-ups and materials for evos. ^^;

Kelpie sucks, even for the early game. ^^() Its entire purpose in existing is to skill up Ice Armor Ogre and Ice Samurai Ogre.

They hatch into Snow Globe Dragons (there's one for each color). They're decent early-to-mid-game leaders and once fully leveled up are worth 3 MILLION XP for a monster, which is very very useful when you have monsters that need 5M to max out.

There aren't awoken skills for that. The orb-plus skills cause orbs of that color to have a chance of appearing with a + on them that results in extra damage when you match them.

I like Delgado and wish I had one, because my Balanced team is one of my better ones.

And.. So I did levels 1 and 2 of the challenge, got 2000 pal coins and the first thing that comes out is a Keeper of Gold It's So SHINY!

So far, the only one i like is the Keeper of Gold o3o so shiny and there's a rare evo material in there too

Keeper of Gold is a pretty good team member in the early game. Ridiculous stat stick. (BTW, it's one of the rare evo materials. :P ) Keeper of Rainbow is too.

I'm a fan of the Ninjas, in the right teams. They're really easy to level up and have ridiculously high ATK relative to their team cost. Yes, it comes at the cost of having utterly abysmal HP, but if you're not worried about HP (for example, if you have other team members that provide lots of HP, or if the extra ATK means you're taking stuff out before you get hit in the first place) they're powerful. High Dark Ninja is a staple of my devil team.

The Pengdras are valuable -- not as team members, but as XP. They only need ~2700 XP to get to max level, and they only need a single Dragon Plant to evolve (dark and light need Dragon Seeds) and are worth 45000 XP to monsters of the same color. The low-level technical dungeons (unlocked when you clear Castle of Satan) drop the red, blue, and green ones very frequently, so grinding on them on Mondays (when they have increased drop rates) is an efficient way to level up your monsters.

Flame Knight is okay early game; it has the advantage of being easy to skill up and Guard Break is one of the more reliable ways to punch through high-defense monsters before you start getting better spike damage later on.

The Carbuncles, likewise, are useful before you start picking up better Healer-types; you'll outgrow them eventually but their ease of acquisition makes them good for a while.

I have a yellow evolved form of the carbuncle and i just traded it in for my blue ninja o3o it looked cool and i since i never use my heal skill (i get plenty of heart things) i decided to switch out.

Ninja team has noooo hit points and dies fast :( Also once they ultimate-evolve they all get different creature types so there's no good leader for such a team that doesn't break away from the ninja theme -- they're all sub-Devil, but no ninja leader gives Devil-type bonuses.

-- Goemon (fire): okay, Goemon would WORK, but his leader skill only triggers under 20% HP, which isn't easy for a team with such low HP to begin with.

I suppose you could do kinda decent by running Hanzo as the leader with High Dark Ninja and Sasuke as subs, but what would you put in the other two slots?
