porridge is a common breakfast meal, and i guess some people put raspberries in it? thne we have bars and biscuits made of oats. this is UK wide though, and mainly because we can grow them here. Like we don't have much at all with corn in it. corn syrup etc.

I'm a bit confused what you mean by the 'regular accent'? XD the UK has hundreds of accents and there isn't really one staple one that would be considered regular >_<

the whole thing about stereotypes is they're usually horribly wrong for the most part xD

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 05:13 PM

@Ducky: The regular accent that we non-brits know of. The Harry Potter kind of accent. O_o

Ducky 05-13-2012 05:17 PM

Harry Potter has many different accents, but I think I get what you mean >_<

Funkduder 05-13-2012 05:17 PM

I noramlly think of the BBC kind. XD

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 05:19 PM

@Ducky: Yeah...XD the usual accent that we always hear in movies?? non-american movies but english-language movies. ^^

Ducky 05-13-2012 05:20 PM

i guess it's probably more of an English accent portrayed in harry potter/BBC. And I think it may be harder for outsiders to tell accents apart.

like.. i would say all 3 of the main people in Harry Potter have different accents xD

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 05:48 PM

I noticed that too >A< but it's really hard to tell them apart DX

Ducky 05-13-2012 05:50 PM

each of Scotland, England, wale sand Ireland has a vast array of accents, and they can be incredibly diverse. But there is certainly a certain kind of accent that is in the media, one that is easily understood by people outside the country. This generally means English XD

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 06:05 PM

Yep, I guess that's it. The irish accent is the hardest for me to understand >A<

Ducky 05-13-2012 06:11 PM

Irish is probably my favorited of the British accents >_<

Lauv Keiko 05-13-2012 06:23 PM

Have you watched the movie "how to train your dragon"?
What accent is that?
