The other day my friends and I had a bunch of fun with NES ROMs - we ended up playing dozens of really bad old games and it was glorious. I really think we picked out random games based on titles for ten hours. Just laughing at the bullshit and unplayability of some of them.

PS2 is just pure win. I don't care what anyone says. Yes, I'd love to see what the PS3 games are like (I'm poor. XD I don't have a PS3 yet.), but I will always be partial to my PS2. I also play Super Nintendo games like it's my job. XD Donkey Kong Country for the win.

keep the ps2 dont trade it in... ps3 doesnt work with ps2 games sadly... otherwise if it did i would buy it...

Twigg 05-29-2012 10:18 PM

Well I heard that it depends on the PS3 you get.

hyjin 05-29-2012 10:22 PM

yeah only the first gen ps3 are backwards compatable with ps2 games... (you can tell when it has 4 usb ports in the front of it...) anything after is no good

This thread is forever reminding me that I need to buy a Dreamcast. :C

hyjin 06-03-2012 06:36 PM

look up on ebay or used stuff store

Addy 06-03-2012 06:37 PM

That's my plan! I hear they are only $20ish, so next payday, we'll see.

hyjin 06-03-2012 06:41 PM

they range around there... i saw some for $40 with console, cables, controller, and 2 games

Addy 06-03-2012 06:42 PM

Not bad at all. :3

We used to have a used game place in town, kinda bummed they're closed, otherwise I'd get one there. x(

hyjin 06-03-2012 06:43 PM

i dont know if there are any near me... i wish there was so i can get pokemon fire red

Addy 06-03-2012 06:44 PM

I bet you could find a copy of that on Amazon or eBay for pretty fair prices. Pokemon games rarely get cheap, though, so you might still have to pay $20+ for it. D:

hyjin 06-03-2012 06:45 PM

yeah but you have to be aware of the fake ones...

Addy 06-03-2012 06:46 PM

This is very true. Both of those sites come with buyer protection, though, and if they claim the cart is legit and you end up with a fake one, you can contact customer support and get your money back.
