so what exactly /is/ miitomo?

it's like nintendo decided to get into social networking mobile apps

basically it's tomodachi life, stripped down to its core, and the focus is on answering random questions about yourself and listening to all your friends answers

oh that is unpleasant x______x tomadachi was terrible, it was homophobic and really creepy and super limited

Well it's not like that. You just have a little nintendo mii person and you can dress it up. . .. and then they ask you a bunch of random questions like "what did you do last weekend?" "whats your favorite food?" "whose your favorite actor?" etc. etc. and then you can go visit your friends at their houses and talk to them to find out how they answered their questions. They can also ask you questions that are "just between the two of you" which tend to be more personal and a silly way to get to know your friends better. It's just a time waster but it's something to play around on when i'm stuck in the car for my two hours a day.

You can also "take pictures" with your friends avatars which is kind of fun. . .
