Howdy, all *sticks paw out from under the couch and waves to everyone* I know I said I would be around more, but this depressive episode is one of the worst I've had in years. I'm not exactly what one would call "good company" right now- just ask Faux. ~Kat crawls further back under the couch to be more in the shadows~ Anyone who is bipolar or knows a bipolar can understand- I had an unusually long "up swing", so now I'm paying for it with a rather harsh and drawn out down swing. I added a link in my intro on the first page of this thread. I think I have to finally bite the bullet and find a new counselor nearby me. My old one is over 100 miles away, and she doesn't take Medicare :/ Church starts in a little over an hour, so I'll be talking with my minister (aka Dad-in- law) about finding a Christian counselor. ~Kat cringes at the thought of going through the process of breaking in a new counselor~ Wish me luck *weak, forced smile~ Just out of curiosity, Sai, since I used to be in pharmaceuticals (the Employee Benefit side) up until I absolutely could no longer work, what OCD meds did your doc put you on? Also, it's not racist to ask your doctor to slow down his speech and repeat things if you cannot understand what he is saying. This IS your health you are dealing with, after all. |

I don't know if it is because he got all the info from the counslor I saw earlier the last month or what. I would of asked him if I wasn't in shock lol or if I was in the mood to try to understand him. I am really bad at listening to people with really strong accents and he is really hard to understand. i have a MASSIVE back problem,really really bad pains if standing/hunched for a long time and its getting bad enough that my spine and right shoulder tingles and gets numby feelings if i stand for too long and its starting to spread to the back of my neck for very very extended periods of standing. and in order to get a chiropractor (that i dont have to pay 100% out of pocket for) or any pain meds stronger than advil i'd have to either have back surgery or something worse than "back pains" (i.e. pinched nerve/slipped disk/broken bones) |

Yeah, sometimes with back issues it's better off to not get surgery because they might screw something up or do something and in the end didn't work. Though, that goes for other surgeries as well ^^"
