You sound like you would be a great parent.

It's hard on one of my twins with his problems. My mom found him one day on the ground after being gone for a hour walk, cleaning the cement with a kleenex crying. Said he couldn't go until it was clean. His twin brother has a temper at times, but he is doing alot better. I feel bad for them since I gave them all those problems. I have OCD, slight ADD and something else, not sure what it is though, haven't been diganosed for those symptoms yet. My husband has ADD. With all the problems, I'm surprised no one lost their mind yet.

Poggio 11-12-2010 11:17 PM

XD you guys sound like one big happy adorable family despite the problems. O.o and I hope that she got him to stop.

Saiyouri 11-12-2010 11:21 PM

Yeah, my mom tried to calm him down and got him back home in a decent mood.

Honestly we are pretty happy. The hubby and I barley ever argue and we always seems to enjoy each others company. We must be sick lol.

Poggio 11-12-2010 11:35 PM

XD ah I see it now so disfunction is the key to a happy marriage, I will keep that in mind.
I wonder have you tried to get your children to do needle point or is it too hard to get them to focus on it?

Saiyouri 11-12-2010 11:40 PM

We have tried that and other crafts, but they are more interested in sitting on their butts staring at the tv. I've even tried setting up a time everyday for them to work on a craft, but they barely ever do it. It's like pulling teeth. But my son is finally enjoying to go to the skate park and my daughter is finally finding things to do more often. She even has worked on a craft here and there on her own. Just at times they have time doing things.

My hubby and I are one of those rare good couples. We met when I was 16 and got married before my 19th birthday. It was love at first sight for each of us. We are a tad on the odd side. Everyone who knew us in high school thought we would of been divorced already.

Poggio 11-12-2010 11:45 PM

XD well I am glad they are doing other things then sitting on their butts all day looking at tv, although it seems a shame that a least one of them doesn't like crafts, who will carry on the needle point art around the house.

I think I am one of those cynics that would agree with your high school friends but seeing as you guys are making it work I can easily become a believer. I don't think I am ever going to get married consider every guy I remotely have affection for comes out of the closet.

Saiyouri 11-12-2010 11:50 PM

Oh my goodness that is terrible. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you find an amazing guy one of these days. There is someone out there for you. (I'm a glass half full kind of dork).

It's odd one of my kids isn't crafty. My grandma worked on knitting and my mom does alot of crafts. And my grandpa worked with wood alot. I'm hoping one of them changes one of these days. It would be nice to have a crafter for a kid.

Poggio 11-12-2010 11:55 PM

Lol well maybe they will when they get older. Alot of my family is like that. I didn't pick up knitting until last christmas I am getting better at it but I still can't do patterns.

XD yesh it is my luck but its okay, I will find some one some day or just live like my aunt. She has a roommate and they are pretty much married but they aren't.

Saiyouri 11-13-2010 12:01 AM

At least she found someone. ^^

I'm teaching myself how to knit and crochet. I really need to work on them more often. Just too busy working on biscornus. They are so much fun to make. Just finished up stitching 2 together today. Gonna finish the last one tomorrow and get the first part of my humming bird one finished too.

Poggio 11-13-2010 12:04 AM

Your Biscornus look very pretty. Lol I don't know how to stitch, and well in order for me to learn anything you honestly have to dumb it down as if you are explaining it to a child other wise I will not learn it. And that is one of the many reasons I love my aunt. She makes every thing understandable from taxes to knitting. xD. Have you tried videos on youtube?

Saiyouri 11-13-2010 12:08 AM

I have books to teach me. I can do knitting, it's fun and pretty easy so far but I still am getting the hang of crocheting. The double stitch is the trouble for me. That is the one that takes me the longest to do. My mom on the other hand can crochet like it's nothing. Something that at times I am jealous of. So many pretty things to make by crocheting.

Poggio 11-13-2010 12:10 AM

XD I am pretty bad at learning hands on things by books. What is the difference between Knitting and Crocheting?

I need to run back to my dorm, I forgot a few things I need to scan before the computer lab closes.

Saiyouri 11-13-2010 12:16 AM

Ok ^^

Knitting uses the long needles and crocheting uses a hook. Most of the patterns I've seen out there are for crocheting. Which is so sad, because there are really nice toys and dolls to make. And I really wanna make little stuffed animals with crocheting and knit up alot of afghans.

Poggio 11-13-2010 12:53 AM

Lol people keep telling me that its easier then Knitting but I guess I find Knitting easier because of the way it was explained to me.

Saiyouri 11-13-2010 01:05 AM

Yeah, knitting does seem easier.

I'm gonna get going. Almost time for me to head to bed. I'm getting tired.

It was really nice talking to you. I hope you have a lovely rest of the night. Talk to you later.

Poggio 11-13-2010 02:52 AM

Good Night Sai xD, I shall talk to you later.

Saiyouri 11-13-2010 11:52 AM

I uploaded the new pictures Poggio of the biscornus I just finished. I hope you like them.

The pink tiny one is just one. I took a picture of both sides because they were different.

*Falls in* Hey there.

Saiyouri 11-14-2010 09:19 AM

Hi Gozed, how are you doing?

Sure Cazzidy ^^

That sounds like an awesome job. Congradulations on getting it.

Gozed 11-14-2010 09:32 AM

I'm doing okay, these past few work days have been taking sooooo long. I'm exhausted and I still have 2 more nights to go.

Saiyouri 11-14-2010 09:35 AM

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you can get enough rest.

Do you have any fun plans when your off of work?

Gozed 11-14-2010 09:55 AM

@Saiyouri: I'm getting the new assassin's creed on tuesday, and then maybe going to the movies later this week.

@Cazzidy: I miss you too!

Saiyouri 11-14-2010 09:59 AM

Oh cool. My hubby wants that game. It's not my style that I like, but they do have incredible graphics and gameplay. Plus the storyline so far is amazing. I really like all the Assassin's Creeds made so far. I just saw the first 2 on the PS3.

For me I plan on finishing up the first part of my biscornu and starting the next one maybe today. They are cross stitched pincushions. I made 5 so far and they are loads of fun. I even have a few more patterns I found online for free that add to my collection of like 50 patterns for that and like 200 or so regular cross stitch patterns, not counting the magazines and book that I have.

Saiyouri 11-17-2010 09:59 AM

Ah virutal children are the best. They don't talk back, mouth off to you, break things, disobey you and they especially don't drain your money to nothing. Especially when you don't have much to live on.
