The bone thing was referencing this, Espy: https://i.redd.it/ur6yqaxfkfm11.jpg
People cook raw beans here, too. The Marine comment made me think of cans. |
...-twitches slightly-
|
Don't worry Espy, this is a robot-friendly thread
ah that is a silly meme, Bio xD |
The twitching...got a dusty fan or malfunctioning hard drive?
I was just clueing Espy in since you already knew about it. |
No, I mean the 'braver than the us marines' one xDDD
|
Ohh, i wasn't aware of that one.
The father is sick, which means I have to do the grocery shopping alone. Come with me? So I don't have a panic attack at the register. Or speak gibberish if someone tries to talk. |
D: hope he gets better soon.
Sure. But that means you'll find some unexpected candies at the register machine. |
Sure, get all you want as long as you do the driving too. I wonder how different the candy is here than where you are.
|
Hey, I can't drive xD I took some classes (theory classes) and then gave up. We'll have to call Lyft.
I don't have 3 musketeers, but on the other hand we have Kinder Egg. |
I, surprisingly, can drive. I dislike driving, though.
|
There's an interesting selection of candy where I go. But I just prefer to remain a dark chocolate snob, as you know.
Driver's education was required here. I hate driving, gives too much anxiety. And too many people don't have any spatial awareness or follow the rules. Or think texting is more important. |
I like very few sweet things. Dark chocolate is one of them .
|
Yay, I like to do the whole bean-to-bar, origin, artisan (although everyone seems to be trying to ruin the meaning of the word) thing. Or interesting flavor combinations with it.
|
Honestly, just give me 80% dark chocolate w salt and I'm happy.
|
I like chocolate with salt but with caramel too |D
If driving lessons were part of school how else would driving schools profit thousands of reais? |
Maybe they make up for it fulfilling their quotas for traffic violations.
New first... chasing away 4 raccoons. |
Ah makes sense, drivers lose their license here when they reach a certain amount of violations (which leads to many of them transferring violations to other drivers).
Are you winning? |
Not sure. They might have been coming around for a while. But first time ever seeing them. They are cutting down a lot of trees and building properties behind us, so that is probably why there has been an uptick of wildlife showing up.
|

They can cut down trees?? Man they're powerful xDD
Espy, they can write a letter or something like that saying they weren't driving the car at the time, but instead their partner/kid/relative with a license. |
...Hm. Interesting.
|
Heheh, I should have specified that it wasn't the raccoons.
It was obviously the beavers. I don't think there are any in this area, though. |
And the plot thickens! In the end aliens took down the trees.
|
Maybe they have a real version of a simulation game and we're just a part of it.
|
like the sims, but humans?
well they must be enjoying us suffer through the rise of fascism of the 20s all over again |
Does the Sims have land building features? I've only tried the body shop.
|
-runs several simulations-
<That we are all part of a simulation seems...unlikely.> |
Does that mean The Matrix isn't a documentary?
|
I know you can make your house, not sure how detailed the process is

I'm curious to know what The Sims creators might have learned about human nature if they did any data collecting.
It sounds like Espy may know a thing or 2 about harvesting humans. |
They know humans are fucking sadists, I guess |D
|
The level of creativity involved could probably lead to some interesting innovations.
|
<...-bzzts awkwardly->
|
Innovations in sadism? xDDD
|
Well, adapted to other things. But that would be fine, too.
|
Odd, why did my mind go straight to the gutter...
|
Did it go there, or does it live there?
|
Hey! I'm as pure and innocent as a... uh
original fairy tale |
Like the original Little Mermaid where it's extremely painful for her to walk?
