The bone thing was referencing this, Espy: https://i.redd.it/ur6yqaxfkfm11.jpg

People cook raw beans here, too. The Marine comment made me think of cans.

Espy 09-24-2018 03:07 PM

...-twitches slightly-

mdom 09-24-2018 03:16 PM

Don't worry Espy, this is a robot-friendly thread

ah that is a silly meme, Bio xD

Biomecha 09-24-2018 03:49 PM

The twitching...got a dusty fan or malfunctioning hard drive?

I was just clueing Espy in since you already knew about it.

mdom 09-24-2018 04:59 PM

No, I mean the 'braver than the us marines' one xDDD

Biomecha 09-24-2018 05:15 PM

Ohh, i wasn't aware of that one.

The father is sick, which means I have to do the grocery shopping alone. Come with me? So I don't have a panic attack at the register. Or speak gibberish if someone tries to talk.

mdom 09-24-2018 05:25 PM

D: hope he gets better soon.

Sure. But that means you'll find some unexpected candies at the register machine.

Biomecha 09-24-2018 05:30 PM

Sure, get all you want as long as you do the driving too. I wonder how different the candy is here than where you are.

mdom 09-24-2018 06:41 PM

Hey, I can't drive xD I took some classes (theory classes) and then gave up. We'll have to call Lyft.

I don't have 3 musketeers, but on the other hand we have Kinder Egg.

Espy 09-24-2018 09:59 PM

I, surprisingly, can drive. I dislike driving, though.

Biomecha 09-24-2018 10:53 PM

There's an interesting selection of candy where I go. But I just prefer to remain a dark chocolate snob, as you know.

Driver's education was required here.

I hate driving, gives too much anxiety. And too many people don't have any spatial awareness or follow the rules. Or think texting is more important.

Espy 09-24-2018 11:11 PM

I like very few sweet things. Dark chocolate is one of them .

Biomecha 09-24-2018 11:17 PM

Yay, I like to do the whole bean-to-bar, origin, artisan (although everyone seems to be trying to ruin the meaning of the word) thing. Or interesting flavor combinations with it.

Espy 09-24-2018 11:22 PM

Honestly, just give me 80% dark chocolate w salt and I'm happy.

mdom 09-25-2018 12:14 AM

I like chocolate with salt but with caramel too |D

If driving lessons were part of school how else would driving schools profit thousands of reais?

Biomecha 09-25-2018 12:24 AM

Maybe they make up for it fulfilling their quotas for traffic violations.

New first... chasing away 4 raccoons.

mdom 09-25-2018 12:32 AM

Ah makes sense, drivers lose their license here when they reach a certain amount of violations (which leads to many of them transferring violations to other drivers).

Are you winning?

Biomecha 09-25-2018 12:43 AM

Not sure. They might have been coming around for a while. But first time ever seeing them. They are cutting down a lot of trees and building properties behind us, so that is probably why there has been an uptick of wildlife showing up.

Espy 09-25-2018 04:51 AM

...How does that work?

mdom 09-25-2018 10:20 AM

They can cut down trees?? Man they're powerful xDD

Espy, they can write a letter or something like that saying they weren't driving the car at the time, but instead their partner/kid/relative with a license.

Espy 09-25-2018 11:15 AM

...Hm. Interesting.

Biomecha 09-25-2018 03:23 PM

Heheh, I should have specified that it wasn't the raccoons.

It was obviously the beavers.

I don't think there are any in this area, though.

mdom 09-25-2018 05:19 PM

And the plot thickens! In the end aliens took down the trees.

Biomecha 09-25-2018 06:08 PM

Maybe they have a real version of a simulation game and we're just a part of it.

mdom 09-25-2018 07:34 PM

like the sims, but humans?
well they must be enjoying us suffer through the rise of fascism of the 20s all over again

Biomecha 09-25-2018 07:53 PM

Does the Sims have land building features? I've only tried the body shop.

Espy 09-25-2018 08:08 PM

-runs several simulations-

<That we are all part of a simulation seems...unlikely.>

Biomecha 09-25-2018 08:15 PM

Does that mean The Matrix isn't a documentary?

mdom 09-25-2018 09:29 PM

I know you can make your house, not sure how detailed the process is

Biomecha 09-25-2018 09:45 PM

I'm curious to know what The Sims creators might have learned about human nature if they did any data collecting.

It sounds like Espy may know a thing or 2 about harvesting humans.

mdom 09-25-2018 11:14 PM

They know humans are fucking sadists, I guess |D

Biomecha 09-25-2018 11:29 PM

The level of creativity involved could probably lead to some interesting innovations.

Espy 09-26-2018 12:45 AM

<...-bzzts awkwardly->

mdom 09-26-2018 11:46 AM

Innovations in sadism? xDDD

Biomecha 09-26-2018 05:40 PM

Well, adapted to other things. But that would be fine, too.

mdom 09-26-2018 07:16 PM

Odd, why did my mind go straight to the gutter...

Biomecha 09-26-2018 07:45 PM

Did it go there, or does it live there?

mdom 09-26-2018 09:46 PM

Hey! I'm as pure and innocent as a... uh
original fairy tale

Biomecha 09-26-2018 10:34 PM

Like the original Little Mermaid where it's extremely painful for her to walk?
