I have a super weird tree outside, speaking of trees.
Here it is December and it still has all of its leaves. When spring hit this year it bloomed and the leaves were all red and then it got cold so it dropped all of its leaves. Then it warmed up so it sprouted new leaves and they were green this time and now it's refusing to join all of its neighbor trees in accepting that it is winter. |
Sounds like seasonlag. It's confused but will go back to routine in a while o3o

that poor tree v_____v we had a magnolia like that, it got really messed up a couple times when the weather went wonky

I hope it's ok xD

It's actually a fairy tale called The Fir Tree, I have a book translated from the Danish by Patricia Crampton, illustrated by Sven Otto S, of Hans Christian Andersen's selected stuff. It's soo good. This particular one doesn't end with a happily ever after (turns out few of them really did. But they were heavily abridged especially during Victorian times when some of the stuff was considered too risque, etc)
I read the stuff when I was small but quite a bit of it went over my head XD although it was my favourite fairytale collection. Anyway. I think my favourite story is The Snowman. |
Many fairy tales were actually rather dark.
