My big brother thinks feet are more sweaty and stinky without socks but they arent.

littl3chocobo 12-18-2015 07:17 PM

they are not, there is no safe place for the bacteria to grow if your feet are covered with crud and/or constantly moving, and of course sweat dries much faster bare than covered. socks harbor a LOT of bacteria

Exactly, as i always say socks are pure evil *nods*
I do have to maintain my feet a bit more but that really isnt a big problem.

How long are you are wearing your socks?! lol

I stick to the one pair to one day, unless I'm in an odd situation, i.e. I'm traveling and forgot to pack enough sockies. >__> But those instances are few and very far between.

But, then again, maybe my feet are strange and don't sweat too much...cause I don't have crusty socks at the end of the day.

Monorea 12-19-2015 01:44 PM

I dunno either, i just throw of the socks as soon as i can.
I have sensitive skin so all socks are itch machines.

littl3chocobo 12-19-2015 07:40 PM

more than a few mins is all you need XD yum, foot-ick stew

Potironette 12-19-2015 08:02 PM

I love socks because I hate wearing slippers xD
My feet aren't particularly sensitive and are cold all the time too.

littl3chocobo 12-19-2015 08:05 PM

ah, then for you socks might be the deal XD

Potironette 12-19-2015 08:07 PM

Yep, though I get splinters a lot when the wood floors break off in huge chunks and stab my foot.

littl3chocobo 12-19-2015 08:07 PM

oh jeez, how old is your house?

Potironette 12-19-2015 08:08 PM

I dunno really. I think the building is around 100 years old or so. Maybe a bit less. 75 years maybe?

littl3chocobo 12-19-2015 08:09 PM

hm, my house is about 70 years and th floor is hella smooth, i dunno what's up with that

Potironette 12-19-2015 08:12 PM

Hue, I don't know either. But it's an apartment so maybe it's from the wear and tear of many past occupants? The floor is filled with pockmarks from who-knows-when also.

whoa! O__O

that sounds awful!

littl3chocobo 12-19-2015 08:20 PM

so maybe it just was treated poorly?

Potironette 12-19-2015 09:26 PM

It's a stormy winter this time! The shiny lights are so pretty >v<
Treated poorly? The flooring you mean? Hrm, I don't know since the history of the building eludes me. Maybe though, since the floor isn't smooth at all. Nor is it shiny.
