How exactly is that like? Outfits vary greatly with just a decade or so.

imagine a great grandmother, for most persons that is within a 25 year scale. it is not a specific set of clothes but a general style that was popular between 1900 and 1960

Monorea 12-18-2015 01:37 PM

Nah can't imagine it.
There are so many styles and fashions in the world.
Image references is easier to understand tho.

littl3chocobo 12-18-2015 02:09 PM

then put it out of your mind

Monorea 12-18-2015 02:09 PM

Sure no problem

littl3chocobo 12-18-2015 05:16 PM

so, do you celebrate xmas? my mother-in-law is making me practice it this years(she did it last year too but since we live together it is more than a tree and some presents)

Monorea 12-18-2015 05:28 PM

I did tell my christmas tradition in some thread. Left out a lot of course, like the rice pudding and rhymes.
One thing i haven't said yet, i don't think of Christmas as a religious holiday.
It's just a new name for Yule and it's simply a celebration of family, food and gifts for me.
Mom forces us to go to church on Christmas but only on Christmas even if she doesn't care either Probably as a way for her to see which people in the village still lives there and is alive or something.

littl3chocobo 12-18-2015 05:30 PM

uh.... ok then >x> that did not really answer my question but whatever, you do things during xmas time

Monorea 12-18-2015 05:32 PM

It didn't? What were you after by asking then?

littl3chocobo 12-18-2015 05:33 PM

do you celebrate xmas. like literally, do you celebrate that specific holiday

Monorea 12-18-2015 05:38 PM

I celebrate with presents, food and company on the 24th and call it Christmas but no not xmas i don't know even what it is exactly? Could you tell me?

littl3chocobo 12-18-2015 05:44 PM

it is the non-religious parts, trees and presents and food and family

Monorea 12-18-2015 05:47 PM

So basically what i do and probably most people who claim to celebrate christmas do but you are bothered enough to give it another name?

littl3chocobo 12-18-2015 06:27 PM

i was by no means the first >x>;;; not by a long shot

Tas 12-18-2015 06:30 PM

xmas is just another name for Christmas.
