OwO *drools* DK loves Doujinshi!

I hope to be able to reads it Dx

how much is a passport.. where do you go to get one? ._.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-10-2011 12:48 AM

What's Sakura Ki? Haven't heard of it before. The "Ki" part that is. Sakura is an ornamental cherry tree, yeah?

Demonskid 05-10-2011 12:49 AM

oh sakura tree.. sorry forgot to translate x'D and sakura is the name of the japanese cherry blossom.

Sakura - Cherry Blossom
Sakuranbo - cherries
Sakura ki - cherry tree

:3 I am quite sure thats what it is...

Quiet Man Cometh 05-10-2011 01:04 AM

Didn't know sakura was the blossom though I knew about the tree. There are a number of them lining streets in my city, though there is a large Asian population here. My university has a Japanese garden with a tea house (thought I've never been in it. I keep missing the dates) and is part of the cherry blossom festival in May (and I'm out of town! Dammit!). My brother bought his house from a chinese couple, I think, and there's an ornamental cherry in the backyard. From the living room window it looks like snow sometimes when the petals fall.

Demonskid 05-10-2011 01:06 AM

That sounds so beautiful.

but yea, from my experiance, sakura is the blossom, add ki to it and its the tree. make it sakuranbo and its the fruit :3

Don't quite know how much, but you should be able to apply for one at your local post office.

I like looking at cherry trees. I just hate cleaning up the petals that seem to all just fall at the same time.

Demonskid 05-10-2011 01:08 AM

I should be going to the post office soon so I shall ask :3

then save up to get one... then save up for a trip.. after i get a new bed.. cause.. my bed sucks ._.

Espy 05-10-2011 01:09 AM

Espy wants to go to Japan too >.< Maybe after college? :D

Ashurato 05-10-2011 01:11 AM

How about during college? Some colleges offer home-stay exchange programs. If they do, I really, really recommend applying for one if they're being offered.

Espy 05-10-2011 01:16 AM

Home-stay exchange...? What's that?

Ashurato 05-10-2011 01:19 AM

Certain colleges have options where you can study abroad (live with a family in that country) so that you can experience/study what it is like over there.

I wasn't able to go myself, but my friend had studied for a semester in Japan (staying with a Japanese family) and earned college credits as long as she took designated classes.

Demonskid 05-10-2011 01:21 AM

I supposedly have a family member over there but no one will give me his contacts or have him contact me ><

Quiet Man Cometh 05-10-2011 01:21 AM

Might be one of those exchange programs where you stay with a local family. I know there are a few school exchange programs. My college had one with a girls school in Japan that was geared toward basic study in Japanese culture/history/language/etc as well as for people learning to teach English.

I'm hoping to save up some money to visit Japan while my friend is still there so I have a free place to stay :)

Demonskid 05-10-2011 01:25 AM

my high school did student exchange.. one of the sophomores came back with the "Hotaru Koi" folk song for the sophomores to sing in choir.. I was sooo jealous D:

Ashurato 05-10-2011 01:32 AM

Going there as a high school student is fun, but going as a college student is better.
More freedom and you can stay out/travel by yourself much later.

Demonskid 05-10-2011 01:34 AM

xD I bet. I never got the chance to go cause I failed my english classes

Espy 05-10-2011 01:38 AM

Oh right, that. Being an exchange student. Sorry, Espy's mind was dead for a bit. The problem with that is I don't understand the language at all. Now, being an exchange student in, say, Spain or Mexico would probably be a better idea for me.

Demonskid 05-10-2011 01:43 AM

Doesn't the student exchange program help teach you japanese?

Quiet Man Cometh 05-10-2011 01:51 AM

I think you're expected to know some before you go. My uni has accelerated Japanese courses for just that purpose.

Demonskid 05-10-2011 01:54 AM

my school didn't have ANY japanese class so I'm not sure ;-;

Ashurato 05-10-2011 01:59 AM

My college didn't have have any prerequisites. Even new people were able to go because there were different levels of classes.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-10-2011 02:05 AM

that sucks, DK. My original community college only had Japanese for exchange students via private instruction. It wasn't part of normal classes. Other languages I thing were the usual French, possibly Spanish, German, and Inuktitut. (I think, I know there was one native language in there.)

Then I went to my University which is twice the size of the town I moved from. I don't think I can name all the languages available there. I took Swedish for my degree.

Funky Monkey Vibration 05-10-2011 02:08 AM

How many times can you guess on the cat breed? o:

Demonskid 05-10-2011 02:13 AM

riddles & Jokes, and the Cat breed are unlimited guesses :3

Funky Monkey Vibration 05-10-2011 02:17 AM

Oooh okay.
I think I have a slight idea of what it is... xD
*used to be a cat person*

Demonskid 05-10-2011 02:23 AM

CATS 101 For the win <3

Funky Monkey Vibration 05-10-2011 02:25 AM

I prefer Dogs 101! o:

Demonskid 05-10-2011 02:26 AM

Your points are updated

Quiet Man Cometh 05-10-2011 02:58 AM

I watch both. :). Though some of the animals on Dogs 101 (particularly the bullmastiff or mastiff) could be a little more accurate as far as appearance. My sister has English Mastiffs. I'm currently helping to look after four of them. And a horse.

Almsot all I know about cats comes from Cats 101.

That means I can try again on the riddle? :D

Demonskid 05-10-2011 03:04 AM

yes you can try the riddle all you want xD

Saiyouri 05-10-2011 04:02 AM

╔═════════════════════════════════╗

(。◕‿◕。) Well I definately got up early tonight.
Went to bed at 10:30 and woke up after 1 and
thought it was a tad too early to get up so
I went back to sleep and woke up again at 2
and just got up. >.>; And I woke up to my 12
year old son being up with his father. And he
is still up. For some reason my husband wants
him to stay up til he passes out on his own.
But him being up since 7:30 is already kicking
in. He won't shut up, he keeps talking non stop.
LOL

╚═════════════════════════════════╝

Demonskid 05-10-2011 04:54 AM

Yay for early risers!

*pets thread* don't die while I am away D8

Saiyouri 05-10-2011 04:59 AM

╔═════════════════════════════════╗

(。◕‿◕。) *gives thread life coffee*
There now it shouldn't die while you are away.

I usually get up at 3-4 but since I went to
bed early last night, I ended up getting up
early. Now I have to wake my 2 cats up so I
can get up and get more coffee >.>; They are
so gonna hate me.

╚═════════════════════════════════╝

Demonskid 05-10-2011 05:11 AM

1 more hour ;~; *clings to thread*

Saiyouri 05-10-2011 05:23 AM

╔═════════════════════════════════╗

(。◕‿◕。) 1 more hour til what? You going
sleepy sleep?

I so hope Joe doesn't sleep too long today. I
really need his help doing alot of things.

╚═════════════════════════════════╝

Demonskid 05-10-2011 05:24 AM

We leave for moms foot operation

Saiyouri 05-10-2011 05:26 AM

╔═════════════════════════════════╗

(。◕‿◕。) Oh, I hope things go well today for her.
I also hope she doesn't need anymore surgeries
on her feet. I can imagine how much pain she must
be in after them.

╚═════════════════════════════════╝

Demonskid 05-10-2011 05:33 AM

I hope so too... First she had a hysterectomy, then her right foot was operated on, and now her left D8

Saiyouri 05-10-2011 05:46 AM

╔═════════════════════════════════╗

(。◕‿◕。) God damn your mother. She is lucky as hell to
get a hysterectomy. I really want one badly. I
can't get pregnant again because my uteran wall
is so thin you can see daylight through it. And
when I had my daughter the doctor said if I had
her normal instead of a c-section, I would of bled
to death >.>; So I got my tubes tied but I do still
worry that I can get pregnant. It is a very low
chance but it isn't completely fool proof. ; ;
Plus what woman wouldn't want to lose her monthly
evil damn visitor that insists on coming every
damn month!

Oh crap ; ; I was gonna get birth control pills
to get mine cut to maybe 4 times a year if that
but with Joe being out of work I can't. Damnit
now I definately have to keep buying that cream
to make sure I don't lose my mind from too
much estrogen. ; ; I produce way too much of it
and it makes me really pissy. I mean everything
will set me off and I won't stop screaming all
day long because I can't handle the stress of
anything at all. Plus it's very painful having
fibersystic breasts. I hate men.

╚═════════════════════════════════╝

Demonskid 05-10-2011 12:44 PM

I have the shot thing birth control, I haven't had a monthly visit for 1 year and 5 months <3 eventually the doc said they would stop permenantly but if I wanted i could still get pregnant.
