So whatever this is, it'll cost more than it's paper counterpart and paper is biodegradible where plastic is not.

So far it is proving better besides that. Though it will be 2012 for the $50's and 2013 for 20's,10's, 5's to be converted.

That's what credit and debit cards are for.

it isn;t hard plastic. it is clear in some places so it can detect forgery in otherwise fake ones. And it's less likely to rip apart.
we got a few so far. but yeah....it is what they're doing it for. everything but the coin.
