Ya never did understand why we celebrated an American holiday....especially in a different month

I suppose one can argue the linked histories, but Canada has never been famous for turkey, even if it supposedly wasn't at the first Thanksgiving dinner.

Hard to say commercialism since I don't know anyone who buys a darn thing for Thanksgiving besides a turkey and food. We're all obliged to make little turkeys out of handprints in elementary school but I can't remember much else beyond that.

Hmmmm we had to make cornocopias too. But ya Thanksgiving is pretty chill.

A couple of my sisters and I were by ourselves for Thanksgiving one year. We made taco pizza. :). It's become something of a staple when I visit my dad up north.

Speaking of which, it seems the moose are moving into town early this year. My dad spotted five within a few blocks of his house.
