But statues can't talk to people, they are stone and ice and physical form

not true, owl statues can talk if you find their beaks owo

But that's only if you apply the correct seed...

XD man, i am not even sure if we are making the same reference or not, the franchise is so damn big

zelda dude, you can make statues speak by giving them stuff, in windwaker(for gbc) it is a beak for the owl statues
