Pathosis; I get $7.76 an hour....
Nikko; That's too much. I have student, part-time job, and soon to take care of my mom for a full time thing. Knee surgery. |
o n o
Are you serious? Minimum wage here is 10-15 dollars. >>;;; And I feel for you on the taking care of your mom thing... It's not a full time thing, but my mom had surgery on her arm so she only has one working one at the moment. I've had to do a lot of things these last few weeks that weren't a part of my routine. |
Minimum wage here is $7.25
I wish I got that much. Well, the thing with the knee is she will need assistance of bathroom, showering etc. She's trying to get short term stay for a week because she goes Nov 19, and it's black Friday that week... and I know I work. |
It's 10-11 dollars for minors.
It goes up a bit once you turn 18/19. This is in Canada though... My boyfriend's worked full time this week since it was orientation. He'll be on call after this weekend. That's rough. I've just had to clean the house and do the dishes. And open a crap load of pill bottles, peanut butter, cough syrup and yeah... |
Ha for all the work I do I only get 9 something an hour as a baker and may bar job only eight something I do that once ina great while when the other guy is out. I am the manry-est of men! |
Pathosis; ._. I want that kind of money.
I'll be doing the grocery shopping, dishes, laundry, taking her to ALL her appointments, cooking, and such. |
That's not too bad, Nikko. Adds up to a nice sum in the end?
It's better to have some money than no money at all. And I wouldn't mind working in the bakery here in town. It's one of a kind and the owners are awesome. Lio;; So do I. D: I've never had a job before, and no one wants to hire someone without experience or connections. I've volunteered out the ass, but that doesn't give me real work experience. (/sigh) If I had a license, I'd take my mom to wherever she has to go. My aunt has been taking her everywhere; she needs a break from it. :/ |
Not really if you think about it my rent is 800, my car is 50, net 60, phone 100, I hardly buy food. . . I am the manry-est of men! |
Pathosis; I know how that goes. I never had prior to this. But a friend helps me get there.
I have my license... I had to. I live out in the country. |
Whoa, 800?
Are you renting a 2 bedroom? o_____o Not even our rent is 800. (/blinks) I'm glad you had help, Lio. :) I have a family friend that could hook me up with a job at the variety store if there was ever an opening. But even though my mom's best friends with the owner, they ignore my resume. =_____=;; And I've NEVER let Jane down. I'm always helping her when she needs it. So there shouldn't be a doubt about my willpower or dedication. |
Yeah I live in a two bedroom with my roomate but we still have tons of things to pay for. Like loan when my car got taken. So we are in the hole screw and I am just tired. I am the manry-est of men! |
Pathosis; it was, right up until she started calling out and telling managers I said I would cover when she never asked me. Or when we would switch shifts, she would call out and they'd yell at me.
Nikko; Ouch. I have a loan on my car. It was the only way I could afford to get one. |
Ugh I am about to call it quits. I am the manry-est of men! |
Awww
=( I've thought about going to bed early tonight. Sleep in, take a nice hot shower when I get up. |
Then you split the rent, right? D:
Is there the option of taking transit to save money? (/puts your feet up) o u o;;; Lio;; Sounds like a....reliable friend? D: I'd be pissed if someone just assumed I'd have all the time in the world to drop everything and work without further notice. |
Pathosis; It also got me into a crap load of trouble. She didn't, I did.
One of the people calls me every Saturday asking me to cover her shift, even when I'm already scheduled to work. I keep telling her you can't text my house phone. -_- |
