I'm a fan of white chocolate as long as it doesn't have too much sugar. There's actually a goat milk based white chocolate I really like. There's also a trend of caramelized white chocolate that I haven't had a chance to try yet. Almost got this white bar yesterday, regret not doing so.

But there's been other interesting flavor combinations, like one with saffron added.

Salted egg... interesting!
My favorite mix is white with berries

Biomecha 02-12-2020 09:42 PM

Yeah, something about it being inspired by a dish in Singapore. I still need to track down salted egg fish skins.

White goes with so many things.

I'm so sleepy
I'm not in the age of allnighters

One of the bloggers I keep up with got her hair dyed rainbow colors and it turned out really nice. https://www.temptalia.com/hidden-rai...r-spring-2020/

Also, have you seen the glitch hair trend? Looks like it's hard to do, and probably hard to maintain. But really interesting with the overall effect.

mdom 02-15-2020 10:19 PM

beautiful rainbow o3o

I love it!!! Gotta find a good hairdresser to do it though

Biomecha 02-16-2020 12:04 AM

Yeah, and she has good hair texture to work with. Mine would look wildly different evening it was the same person who dyed it.

mdom 02-16-2020 12:27 AM

You can try a greyscale hairdo!

Biomecha 02-16-2020 12:36 AM

It's already naturally greyscale. The texture is still wonky.

littl3chocobo 02-16-2020 08:29 AM

what is a glitch hairstyle?

mdom 02-16-2020 04:57 PM

hey don't hate your texture

Biomecha 02-19-2020 01:11 AM

Chocobo: Well, like what mdom posted. Just a neat dying effect.

I need to start experimenting with hair products again, but it's a frustrating process when they don't work and it feels wasteful.

mdom 02-19-2020 08:29 PM

it's never a waste if you learn something!

Biomecha 02-20-2020 12:22 AM

The dollars spent might exceed the value of the lesson.

The curly hair subreddit often seems to give conflicting advice. And now one of the popular brands there is getting sued because people were losing hair.

mdom 02-20-2020 02:22 AM

D: damn losing hair. what kind of products are they using

Biomecha 02-20-2020 05:20 PM

I'm not following it closely, but it sounds like the company may have changed their formulas to where it's doing some weird things chemically.
