Basically All a Vertical Asymptote is where it's all the answers x cannot be... aka where it becomes irrational... http://www.purplemath.com/modules/asymtote.htm A little diagram will help you understand what is happening when x makes 0 in the denominator on a graph... :) It's a pretty fun way of doing solutions though really. I /loved/ polynomial division the first time I did it. XD so I'm not dreading this particular assignment once I remember... how to do it. (kinda missed the day in school XD)

I get normal assymptotes. xD It was the slant/obliqe assymptotes that I was confused about. BUT I FOUND THE PAGE ON THEM. Maybe I can actually do my hw then. >3>
