In my old cosplay group, I would've been our Rin, so it's nostalgic. @__@
Though unfortunately, everyone's too busy - or in my case, too damn broke - to do it though. xD A friend of mine in the UK does an AMAZING Yukio. I really wish she lived here so we could do some kind of private cosplay and took photos ( she's also a photographer, and I like to mess with cameras lol ). To be honest, even against all the asian cosplayers, she was even better, and she didn't even try; she put up pictures once when I told her she had the right face for it. Yukio seems he would be hard to perfect Human cosplay wise, he was hard enough to do as an avatar. You would have to place his facial freckles/Moles just right. The last cosplay the natsu did was... *tries to think* OH! I did Kurama that was a blast x3. I usually try to make my cosplays from scratch. |
I did Death the Kidd from scratch in 2009, but I don't have pictures because it was my first Ohayocon and a lot of stuff happened. xD;
( Like.. I couldn't walk for around a day. My friend Doug had to carry me around on his back half the time. I didn't sleep for 3 days, plus constant sugar rush.. Plus the cheerleading AND christian conventions were going on at the sammme time in the same building, so THAT was interesting, rofl. ) I dyed the stripes into my hair, and my friend's grandmother made the clothes - which were actually spot-on - and I made the rings and skull necktie thing out of clay and painted them. Though right after that one, I had to cosplay L for the second half, and I forgot gloves, so when I dyed my hair in the hotel, my hands were blotchy for the rest of the week. xD +rambleramble+ My group always sticks me with the shorter, black-haired ones most of the time. It was funny when I was there as L and Doug was Light, with his girlfriend as Misa, and whenever I couldn't walk for a bit, he'd have to carry me around; so to everyone else it was Light walking around with a crippled L on his back. It got me shoulder'd in the jaw because some stranger tried to glomp me when I was in the vendors andIwastooshort... xD; |

How in the world can you act "cool" when at the 3rd largest anime con IN THE NATION? ( And even if it isn't a huge con, it's still a freakin' con xDD ) It doesn't happen. xD
Even though those other two conventions were there at the same time, the nerds outnumbered everyone else. It's always so awesome. Though that year there were like 9 people who passed out in the rave, and there was like 21984710298 ambulances in the parking lot. My knee swelled up so bad it looked like a football, and Doug, being the genius he is, when he was carrying me at first, he turned in the vendors and smacked my ankle on the corner of a glass table, right on the bone. Dx So both my legs were crippled, rofl. That shit hurt for 3 months afterwards too. But.. I got to stay at two Hyatts that year. Those hotels are GREAT. >__> Nothing like the second time I went, when we got the Holiday Inn, and me and 6 other dudes stayed in one room... ( Though that was also crazy in a different way.. xDD ) Only reason my knee was ridiculous was because Brandi ( our Misa/Maka ) decided we should take the stairs up to the 11th floor instead of the elevator skjhflakjshdfalsjfh don'teverdothat,no matter how badly the elevator reeks. Dx Unless you are immensely healthy. |

As for the pain issue that sounds like it was annoying and hurtfull x3..The hotel thing i don't think ive ever been inside a hotel i didn't enjoy x3.. Sorry if i don't answer back with alot im very horrible with being social |

There's never a hidden "coolness" at an anime con. There's dudes dressing in Lolita dresses dancing to hare hare yukai at these things, just out in the open with no cares. xD
Kind of what makes it so great; nobody gives a shit. I saw storm troopers in kilts at the 2010 one. A really lanky guy dressed as that chick from chobits Shit's a mindfuck. xD Any normal stereotype or "code of conduct" is lost there until it ends. I think that's why whenever I went there, on the highway to Columbus I saw a traffic jam of people trying to LEAVE. xDDD Because the "normal" derpwads who live in Columbus know that for those 3 days, the capital of Ohio is the capital of nerds. And they get the hell out of there. roflolol Butyeah, I couldn't touch my left ankle for a few months. I'd forget and bump it on the leg of my chair or something in class, and it'd make me writhe a little. Dx And I have a really strangely high tolerance for pain, so that's saying something. xDD +says the guy who doesn't feel anything when dumping peroxide on cuts+ I never had it looked at, but I'm pretty sure with how long it hurt so much, it might've been fractured just a little. @__@ It didn't bruise or anything, but just touching it made me want to yell dkfaskfj ( Lol every time I think about it, it starts getting itchy ) No worries, the only reason I'm talking so much is because I've been up for over 20 hours I think. ( Not a lot, but I get loopy around now ). |
