When my friend got his removed, they had missed one sliver of tooth when they sewed him up. It got infected and he had to go back. At least he was put under through the process.

And they wonder why I'm so hesitant to get it done myself.

Actually when you go, they give you a crapton of warnings of all the stuff that can go wrong from the procedure, though they are very rare, they still have to say it. Surgery is a very delicate thing, shit can happen

My family has insurance, but the surgery to have wisdom teeth removed (I have three, I think) is around $2,000 and insurance only pays for a fraction of that. I'd still probably end up having to pay about 700-1,000 dollars for the procedure.

I said those RARELY happened. 98% of the people that have the procedure done are fineeeee

Yeah, Ashy. :[

I wish I was one of those lucky people whose wisdom teeth never grew in.

Or didn't exist.

And I wish dentists weren't so damn greedy. They're the most expensive doctors out there, and insurance rarely pays for a significant part of a dental bill. It's ridiculous.

Sounds like a challenge. I like challenges.

Rose, do we have permission?

@ johnny - I have a massive phobia of the dentist. I went to the dentist for the first time in a while last year and I was practically sobbing.
