Actually when you go, they give you a crapton of warnings of all the stuff that can go wrong from the procedure, though they are very rare, they still have to say it. My family has insurance, but the surgery to have wisdom teeth removed (I have three, I think) is around $2,000 and insurance only pays for a fraction of that. I'd still probably end up having to pay about 700-1,000 dollars for the procedure.

I wish I was one of those lucky people whose wisdom teeth never grew in. Or didn't exist. And I wish dentists weren't so damn greedy. They're the most expensive doctors out there, and insurance rarely pays for a significant part of a dental bill. It's ridiculous. |
