I'm tired of not being employed to the point of thinking of applying at Walmart

Lioshika 01-23-2012 12:05 AM

Sometimes ya gotta do what ye gotta do.

Lunaryon 01-23-2012 12:20 AM

I know... But it's Walmart. I mean seriously... They are EVIL!!

Lioshika 01-23-2012 12:36 AM

They are. But what can you do?

Lunaryon 01-23-2012 12:37 AM

Wait for my Finacial Aid and get a Work Study?

Lioshika 01-23-2012 12:39 AM

I would love to do work study but my mom makes to much to do, yet we can barely live on her paycheck after she pays bills. It's not like she even has many bills.

Lunaryon 01-23-2012 12:42 AM

That's no good.

Lioshika 01-23-2012 01:02 AM

Yeah, the problem is the state keeps cutting paychecks.

Lunaryon 01-23-2012 01:08 AM

We need a revolution. The internet makes Congress and the Government as a whole... not counting the Judges completely unnecessary!

Lioshika 01-23-2012 01:16 AM

I just find the government is more a motion to go through rather than anything.

Lunaryon 01-23-2012 01:28 AM

If we move the democratic method to the internet we can have a true democracy that almost anyone has access to! And if other nations begin to join in, the entire world government can be held constantly... with everyone having there own voice.

Lioshika 01-23-2012 01:34 AM

Yeah, or someone will hack it and then it just becomes a huge issues.

Lunaryon 01-23-2012 01:38 AM

It's near impossible to hack the government sites as they are now. Just change them into a semi-public forum where your Social Security number is the username, you have a password, and then you have a screen name for talkign with others.

Money is money.
Walmart gives jobs to people, and pays good money for what they do.

Also, keep in mind that the USA is not a Democracy, it's a Republic.
Likewise it is easy to say give a voice to everyone, but the fact is that in the USA everyone has a voice already. To say that "we need a revolution" against the greatest government set up in the history of man kind is foolish, because it is also unnecisary. It's simple to say "I'm angry over this new internet thing!" but keep in mind, the very reason it did not pass is because this is the USA and people dont play ball with that kind of bullshit.

There is absolutely no need for any kind of revolution, especially not the idiotic shit people like to complain about these days. I have seen what true corruption is, and what real oppression is. There are reasons people flee from Communist and Socialist hell holes to get to the USA, and that is because it isn't a socialist or communist hell hole.

The best thing you can do to make the economy better, because it is the economy and not the congress that is the cause of the shit we have now, is to make sure Obama is not re-elected. If you want a Revolution to make things better, that is your first step.

Lioshika 01-23-2012 09:44 PM

Luna; the problem is if someone takes your social security number, which isn't hard to do. Falsifying documents isn't entirely implausible.

Also, people aren't voting based on the issues and their views. The representatives aren't doing their job, yet we're too stupid to vote them out. They're driven by money and we allow it. We have the right to voice it but nobody does. Several people I know say "Oh I just don't vote because I don't know what's going on". That is disgusting excuse. Also it is wrong to say that you vote for the woman because she is, or something like that. That is just being stupid.

If I may plug in my two cents here: Each government has their pros and their cons, however, whether or not it's the best government designed in history does not matter. If corrupt faces are behind the system, there is no winning, for Socialism, Democracies, or Republics. In theory, Socialism is a wonderful form of government, as well as Democracy and Republic, but it's bad leaders that make it look bad.

As for the Obama hatred, I personally don't see why everyone complains about him so much. Not to mention, I dislike how the majority of America is never happy with who is in office, whether or not their promises have been fulfilled.

Ah, but that's just rambles from the peanut gallery. I actually meant to come in here just to lounge. d;
