It was interesting reading the little write up on where Growlithe came from in Bulbapedia. I just tended to assume the verious statues of Asian style animals were Foo dogs, or something like them.

My friends and I watched that movie countless times. I have most of it memorized I imagine. I was reminded of Otis when he felt all proud of himself when he was asked by the chicken to keep and eye on her egg.

Yup. Milo hid from Otis in a box and the box came off the dock and started floating down the river. Otis went after him and the both ended up trekking through a swamp until Otis found Milo in a hole. The girl cat was Joyce, who Milo falls in love with and Otis gets put out, not understanding until he meets Sandra. ;)

The theme song is one of those major childhood nostalgic things for me. You can probably find the movie online somewhere. It's old. I'm pretty sure the one guy narrating the film does all the voices, too.

Question, but can you trade an older gen pokemon to Black without having the upgraded pokedex or without using the poketransfer thing?

if your friend has the older gen on their black/2 white/2 games yea. I have charmander/charizard on my blck 2 and it doesn't have a dex entry yet due to me not having the national dex xD

Well, if not then life goes on. I think SS will end up being my main game anyway. I can hatch some more eevees to send over. I don't think Silver has a mossy rock in it.

There's a mossy rock in black, so I should be able to ship an Eevee over, evolve it, then ship it back to Silver since I think Leafeons were in Leaf Green or something? Something earlier than SS at any rate. I have my sister's copy of Leaf Green that she said I could transfer some pokemon to the palpark thing in SS. Never tried it though.

I caught a Golett! After killing several others in the attempt. I wanted a lower level guy (30, got a 33) but the one I was about to catch went and killed itself with confusion. That was kinda annoying.

I think I need a new nickname for my Leipard. "Mercutio" doesn't seem to be working for it. It might not be a good idea to name something after a character that dies. Ophelia doesn't seem to mind though.

I never really name mine. last time i named one . it was a tepig .. i named it P-Chan like from Ranma xD

No eevee's to steal in my borrowed leaf green, but I have no shortage in my silver game I've found. I just hatched one that's destined to be a flareon so I just need two more to make the full set (+1 just to have a regular eevee too, of course.)

No, haven't looked yet. I figure it just doesn't like our wireless connection. It's not very good here. Something of a compatibility issue I think.

Playing SoulSiver today. Levelling up my Suicune a little. Trying to get a batch of my guys to at least 75/80 and my main to 90-ish at least before taking on Red.

Chi had a problem connecting her DS (not sure if it was the original,lite,or the other one that was out) but when she got a 3DS it connected. But not everyone has one of those so.. x.x,

Is tired of being sick. Sits in the Pokemon thread and snuggles with Mighty.

Mine's a DS Lite I believe. I don't usually do too much online stuff with my consoles so I've never really tried to connect anything online. Thought it would be neat to try though. I might just borrow my niece's or my sister's DS and trade some things between myself. When I can win or hatch another two eevees I can send them to black and then back to SSilver for the whole set. :)

Eevee is situated comfortably in my PC. She'll need a name at some point. I'll figure that out later. Might need to look into investing in an XP share once I build my funds back up. New monthlies don't help that situation much. ;)
