Go up to the avatar tab click. then once the page loads you'll see tabs for your inventory, hat, hair,.. ect and all the way at the end you'll see Edit Avatar. go in there and pick your base. If you've already been to the stores and got the free clothing from threads and free face stuff from Trinkets and Tressess you can add them to the base :3
