@ Espy ;
Ah. o-o Well I havn't really seen too many MMo's so I don't know. XD
I know of ... Flyff? Maple Story... uh. Adventurequestonline, Crystal... something... it's relatively new? I tried that one on a friend's computer and it was pretty fun. x3 uhh. The Forbidden Gates was FUN. until they introduced magic /:

Ultima 05-05-2014 11:19 PM

.... Man, I'm sooo low-level. I should play TERA again.

Actually no. I should find out why my computer won't LET me play it x.x;

Lawtan 05-05-2014 11:24 PM

I'm still 59 (out of 60)

Vincent 05-06-2014 12:13 AM

@ Ulti ;
Becauuuse it's a real toll on the computer? o-o'
Idk have you downloaded a hell of a lot since then? XD

@ Lawman ;
like level-wise? o.0

Lawtan 05-06-2014 12:25 AM

Yes. Been there in TERA for a while (No way to do the Quests/dungeons without a group and all...and team stopped really talking about it, so I sort of lost interest.

Vincent 05-06-2014 12:26 AM

Team stopped talking about it? your TERA team? o.o

Lawtan 05-06-2014 12:33 AM

Well, it was me, Espy, and a few of Espy's friends.

Vincent 05-06-2014 12:44 AM

Ah. XD but that sounds like a fun team.

Which class were you?

Mmm, I haven't really. And anything I have downloaded, I usually uninstall quickly after...

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:05 AM

Huh. Not sure then. x.x Unless they added more things to the game or the game's starting screens that screw with your computer.
I dunno , though.

Lawtan 05-06-2014 01:24 AM

I played a female Amani Mystic, Calliope, and Wadjet the Elin Healer (whose character has a penchant for fire...and books...and messing with Segiun)

Will need to dig up pics.

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:25 AM

Lmao so I saw. XD
Wadjet is such a cute name somehow. x:

Ultima 05-06-2014 01:32 AM

I had a male Amani (I lied and remembered the wrong term, it's a Castanic) named Ghira and an Elin named Emaya. I only know that because I have their names written down somewhere. I couldn't tell you anything else about my characters owo;

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:34 AM

Haha. XD wow.
Shows how long it's been since you played that huh. XD
So. Are the races the typical orcs/humans/elves just with different names or are they completely different? xD

Ultima 05-06-2014 01:37 AM

owo;; Basically completely different. There's a demonic race, a race of Tanuki-like guys, a race of animal-eared girls, uhh... troll-like people ... You know what. -googles it-

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:39 AM

Lmao. XD 'screw this, I'll google it'

Meh. /not interested enough in a game he'll never get to play to google it. ;~;

Lawtan 05-06-2014 01:39 AM

Amani = Saurian (Dinosaur/dragon)
Baraka = Wise Stone Trolls
Elin = preteen Catgirls (generally considered cute)
Castanic = Elven/Tiefling
High Elves
Humans
Popori = sentient Racoons

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:40 AM

Sentient raccoons sounds so cute <3
Saurian sounds interesting too.

Hehe my Elin is a bunny girl~ They can be cats, sheep, or foxes, too.

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:45 AM

Wow. That's a hella lot of choices. XD

So wait, Elin was a female-only thing? o.o /no catboys,sheep,foxes? :c

Ulti went ALL the way I see. XD /notes your pictures

Ultima 05-06-2014 01:45 AM

Nope, the Popori are the male counterparts. No female Popori.

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:51 AM

Ohhh...
hm.
Raccoon boys... instead of possibility of cat boys...
good trade...
or not?...
hm. -ponders- XD

Lawtan 05-06-2014 01:51 AM

Essentially, the Elin are split from the Nature Goddess, Elinu. Popori are animals they endowed with intelligence.
So, mini-nature goddesses and their animal friends.

Vincent 05-06-2014 01:54 AM

PFFFT.
That's all I gotta say to that. /:

Poggio 05-06-2014 02:03 PM

-floats down into corner and curls up and naps-

Vincent 05-06-2014 08:05 PM

-puts blanket over the Poggio and pets- XD?

Quiet Man Cometh 05-08-2014 01:20 AM

Well, Hi. Thought I'd migrate over so the chat in the craft thread doesn't get too off topic, though not sure that is matters all that much.

*Drags in personal couch and teacup and heads for tea brewer*

Vincent 05-08-2014 01:38 AM

Hi again Quiet Man. 8'D Glad to see you here and making yourself at home, haha. x3
I don't think it matters too much either but eh. XD At least here it's pretty much impossible to be off topic , since there is no overlying topic. XD

What type of tea do you normally like? O:

Quiet Man Cometh 05-08-2014 01:51 AM

Black Assam tea, for the most part. With milk and sugar. If you want to get specific, Banapsaty Assam is my favourite. My tea collection however, while mostly black, has various whites, greens, smokey teas, herbals, etc. It's pretty much my default beverage. I have a thread on the topic over in central square.

Vincent 05-08-2014 01:53 AM

o.o' I haven't heard of either of those... Is there any comparable flavor you could link them to? XD Or are they like a stand-alone tea, their own thing? XD
I don't normally drink tea. o-o Doesn't taste all that well for me...
I just do Soda/water x:

Quiet Man Cometh 05-08-2014 02:16 AM

Uh, hard to say, since all teas essentially come from the same plant, just processed differently (not including herbal teas). White tea is the least processed, followed by green, then black. Most default "tea" is some manner of Black tea. I imagine different teas are kind of like different beers, or coffees. More or less the same, but little things make them different.

Assam tea is a type of black tea that is grown in various estates along the Assam river in India. Specific estates gives their names to the tea, such as Banapsaty or Tarajulie, etc. I'd say that Assam tea is "warmer" in flavour when compared to other black teas like Ceylon or Darjeeling, if that makes sense.

There are a pile of green teas too, like Matcha, Sencha, Genmaicha, Kombucha, etc. Much tea!

Anything carbonated has been iffy for me since my stomach started acting up, so I don't drink pop as much as I used to. If not tea, then juice, or milk, usually.

Vincent 05-08-2014 02:19 AM

Ahh o.o' sounds kinda complicated. XD

It kinda does. XD Like good for winter days?
Makes you really think , they get these teas from all different types of places o.o'

So many weird names too. XD...

Quiet Man Cometh 05-08-2014 02:40 AM

Some had different things added, or different blends. I imagine even the change in regional soil can change the flavour of the tea plant when it's processed, so tea from China would taste different than the same tea from Britain.

That might be a good way to put it, I suppose it's warm the way cinnamon is warm? As a contrast, I'd say parsley or cilantro is "cold."

Vincent 05-08-2014 02:47 AM

Wow o.o' Sounds reallly complicated then. XD I mean. That's like sooo many choices o.0'

Whoo. XD Go vivi.
I don't really know those flavors particularly since I just have them as seasonings. XD
So I'm guessing you like warmer flavors better then colder ones? :3

Quiet Man Cometh 05-08-2014 02:48 AM

Depends on my inclinations at the time. ;)

I just drink a lot of tea. Ask me if I want a light roast or a dark roast in coffee and get a blank stare.

Vincent 05-08-2014 02:50 AM

Ah. XD
So when did you learn to start sewing? o-o

Quiet Man Cometh 05-08-2014 02:52 AM

Like most crafty things, I followed my step sister into it, though my mother gave me the basics of hand-sewing. I started with little purses as they were easy, and then little pillows with patch designs. I only just recently started trying to learn actual stitches, and my step sister got me a sewing machine for Christmas which I shall attempt to figure out. For the most part, I take a needle and thread in one hand, some fabric in the other, and attempt to make them stick. It *usually* works out, though isn't always the most attractive looking. I repair clothes and darn socks, mostly by trial and error.

Vincent 05-08-2014 03:14 AM

Ahh o-o Well that was nice for her. XD
And wow really? XD you'd think sewing machines would be easier then hand-sewing. Although just learning about one would be a bit of a niche. o-o
lmao. XD attempt to make them stick.
Well at least you have a fun little hobby-ish sort of thing. XD
Only kind of need and thread thing I did was back in middle school in home ec. Made my own pillow o-o'

Quiet Man Cometh 05-08-2014 03:24 AM

I think they are but I'm not used the them. The fist time I tried I kept stepping on the pedal too hard and making the machine run too fast. I just stick with hand sewing for the most part, as there's a lot of stuff that can't be done with a machine, like repairing the pocket linings on a shirt of mine. It's slower, but I like working with my hands. It's a change from all the mental stuff I'm normally doing.

I was excused from Home Ec. class because of my health, so I never really learned how to use a machine. I'm sure I can manage, I'm decent enough with instructions. ;)
