O.O
I didn't know that. That's rather cool - the whole "friends with Beast Wars voice actors" thing.

There's all manner of rumors flying about regarding the next movie... And apparently, we're getting a Bumblebee-centric movie, too.

I put her up to asking him the bartender question! Because I RP Rhinox as a bartender! Bahaha.

LOL They put out a Bumblebee-centric compilation of 'Prime'. Bumblebee actually brings in more money than Optimus does.

I've never seen any but the first one and AoE. The first one turned me off them, so I only bought the comic books, as RP textbooks. But there were no book for AoE, so I bought it and watched it, and liked it alright, except the popular character death scene.

ml1201 04-28-2016 02:55 PM

So you think it would at least be decent enough to watch online if I can find it? I think I saw it listed in one of my online things I have.

Tam I am 04-28-2016 04:50 PM

Yeah. There's some funny stuff in it. And one woman who actually has some brains (I think it came with the actress).

ml1201 04-28-2016 09:07 PM

Oh thank god, then after my classes are finished I'll try looking it up to watch.

It's by sheer dumb luck that that happened... I'm also FB friends with the voice actor who played Grimlock in the original cartoon, and with Bumblebee's voice actor, and Jetfire and Lockdown's (He's a regular at a convention I go to every year, and is a really nice guy), and Perceptor's voice actor (Paul Eiding. Who also played Grandpa in Ben 10).

All because of going to conventions, and working up the courage to friend them on facebook.

:D

Note: That green guy is NOT Hound. Den and I call him Ordnance. LOL

ml1201 04-29-2016 06:09 PM

Green guy? I don't really know all the names, just BumbleBee, Hotshot, Optimus, Megatron, and StarScream. The others I have trouble remembering their names, mostly because I never watched the original shows and have only seen bits of Beast Wars but loved what I have seen of it.

The one Tam and I are talking about is the big one that's modeled after his voice actor, John Goodman. There's another green guy in Age of Extinction, but he's also got a lot of black to his paintjob.

Nope. Not in the least. What we call him fits a lot better. And he totally stole the show. But I'm not complaining, because he was pretty entertaining. :)

Sooo...
This is interesting

(Possible ick - it is a modular organism)

...I was looking up how the Thing could semi-realistically work. Short answer is that its proposed method - a parasitic plant/virus - couldn't, as things like plant cell walls make such things incompatible. And endoparasites (skin based) work more like warts for people (though they can force things like extra limbs on simpler creatures)...hmm...

Also, Underwater Robot repair snakes!
