Oooh interesting, i'm gonna put it on my list.

Damn the movies are so good why do they have to make series!!

Biomecha 10-02-2022 12:59 AM

The casting and trailers seems kind of decent. And Let the Right One In is supposed to focus on the relationships more, which has potential. But they could also easily go wrong.

Ohh, did you ever see We Are Who We Are? It's more experimental in style. I liked it.

mdom 10-02-2022 11:08 AM

oooh I never even heard about it... Alice Braga is in it!! Interesting...

Biomecha 10-02-2022 02:13 PM

If you're familiar with Call Me by Your Name, it's the same director/showrunner.

UGH Lula didn't get over 50% of the votes... how did bolsonaro get 50 million votes T^T I'm very upset

Because we haven't found anyone to fix the timeline yet. Or a way to jump alternate universes. Or whatever the tech was in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

mdom 10-03-2022 02:22 AM

ooooh I was gonna say I'd like to see myself from other timelines but in that movie I'm definitely Jojo Chewbacca

Biomecha 10-03-2022 06:26 PM

I don't think I remember that part.

Interview with the Vampire didn't have that great of a first episode. At least to me. I might still give it a few more episodes.

mdom 10-03-2022 10:08 PM

D: sad. Strange New Worlds didn't start well for me >:(

heheh it's one of the names Michelle Yeoh gives to Jobu Topaki

Biomecha 10-03-2022 10:50 PM

Bummer! Did you like Lower Decks? Hopefully I can get access soon to watch it.

mdom 10-04-2022 09:18 PM

Yes!!! It's really good and funny. And the most recent episode had DS9!!

Biomecha 10-06-2022 07:05 PM

Oh, neat. I need to remember to try watching that again. I forgot how far I got.

I'll be going on a road trip alone, tomorrow. First time ever doing that.

mdom 10-07-2022 04:16 PM

Oooh are you going far?
I belive in you, Bio!!! \o/

Biomecha 10-08-2022 03:26 PM

It was over 5 hours of driving. Sometimes the speed limit went up to 75 MPH, I didn't get to the part that went up to 80 but drove over that. I met up with that group who I've been doing zooms and youtube lives with. It went surprisingly well, and a couple of them were very protective since they knew how much anxiety I had.

mdom 10-09-2022 05:47 PM

Awwww that sounds so cool!! And how was it?? What did y'all do?? Did you have fun?? Give me all details!!!!

Biomecha 10-09-2022 06:00 PM

I'll send you photos in a bit. It's the group where the long time listeners of the radio show/podcast (it's not really like other radio shows, the hosts shared their lives more than anything) get together. So it's been a part of my life for 30-ish years off and on. The radio personality's brother is the one that kind of baby sat me, and another listener who has become a personality herself that everyone loves also did the same. She organized it and helped with the gas, and even kept trying to get me stay at her house so I wouldn't have to drive at night. It was at a bowling alley, so there wasn't as much pressure to talk to people. Everyone was really nice. One of the producers/hosts who is younger has a bit about talking about sneaker collecting and wound up getting the main host into them, so I wore my fancy ones and he liked them and had to touch them.
