trystan830 04-13-2016 11:52 PM

yep - the legs are rather taller than your usual bed.

Lawtan 04-13-2016 11:53 PM

Ohhhh. Sounds nice. XD

Also, the new 'Ratchet and Clank' game is fun to watch. And that's all I have to say about that.

I want to make a loft bed, but not with an impractical ladder. I want one with nice, wide steps, and a good handrail on either side of the ladder... okay, I want a staircase up to the bed part. >.>;;

trystan830 04-13-2016 11:55 PM

not bunk beds... but i imagine her and her roommate could make bunk beds. but my kid likes her blanket fort. =D

when i was in college, you could line the desk, dresser and bed up just right so you could loft the bed. i really liked that.

First time I went to college, way back in 2005, I was in the dorms. We had beds that could be bunk'd, or left separate. My first roommate and I left our beds separate, which was for the best, because she and I ended up not getting along at all... but then my then BFF moved in with me and we ended u bunking our beds, with me on the top bunk... I still remember the first day of the second semester, I tried waking the new roommate up, and she wouldn't get up... so she slept through class, and got a little huffy with me for not waking her up.

Gweeeeen Baby Law! Eeeeee! Too much cute!

And drawers in the steps, Den?

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:06 AM

i really wish i had a pic of one of my dorm beds. the most common way the rooms were set up was that one bed was lofted with the long side against the wall, and the other was on the floor, with the short side under the lofted bed - kinda like weird perpendicular (on two planes) bunk beds. i have no idea how to even google that....

Tam I am 04-14-2016 12:09 AM

Ohh. I've seen L shaped bunk beds before. It's neat.

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:11 AM

kinda like this - without all the wood framing. heh.

Tam I am 04-14-2016 12:17 AM

Yuuup. Sometimes there's a built in chest of drawers or closet.
