A statue of a past Tyrant who was defeated, and who'se evil legacy the game is based off of. However it turns out you were not the tyrant and were killed and used as a Martyr for the world that is now under the rule of the descendant of the real tyrant. History si written by the winner.

The guardian of said statue, and one of the few who know the real truth because you are an immortal, and lived in the time of the mytyr, and tell the party the truth of what really happened and make them realize that the only way to win is the resurrect the mytyr so she can destroy the bloodline of the tyrant.

But it is all a Xanatos Gambit of the Mytyr who was a mytyr so that she would be killed and later resurrected so she can become the big bad by absorbing the soul of her killer.

the sister of the main antagonist who is the one pulling the strings, and is the real power behind his evil.

a ninja who was cursed by an insane witch, and used the power she gained to fight against the evil empire, but was the only member of the party who thought that there was something with the king, especially after seeing him have no idea what was going on. He had no idea of the horrors his sister had done, and after seeing his subjects turns against his sister and his kingdom. Disguising himself as a petty thief, he joins the party, and slowly begins a relationship with the ninja before she discovers who he really is.

The party's mage, dark and powerful with untold beauty but a distrusting nature due to a tragedy in your past. You only tend to take the word of the party leader, and you have an small crush on him, though you have a hard time showing it. You are both feared and respected for your power, and it plays a key role in freeing the Martyr.

(We're making a whole game plot aren't we?)

The party leader herself, who is unaware of the mage's one-sided lesbian crush on her, and was traveller, who wanted to draw a map of the entire world before being captured by the evil kingdom, and nearly executed, saving the mage (which began her crush), along with a madman who creates the weapons for the group, and the comedic relief character.

(It seems so. but it's fun)

The eldest in the group and a well known archer and hunter. You joined the party in an attempt to make up for killing your best friend and the father of the Main Hero, because you (though at the time you didn't know the truth) he was attempting treason against the King.

The ghost of the archer's best friend, someone only he can see, and is really only his guilt having driven him insane. Slowly the ghost twists the archer into believing the only way to save the party is too kill them all, and after the party defeats him he kills himself.

The one who has the power to summon the might spirits that control the forces of the planet. You are a powerful man and you know you are, you have a deep respect for the creatures you call upon and for the power in your hands. You teach the Main Hero and are a powerful asset in battle.

The mentor's personal summon, able to appear and disappear to and from the summons realm at will. you dislike the hero, thinking her nothing more then a spoiled brat, but help all the same. You run info for the party, learning where and when the empire is planning to strike.

You're the only character in the group who literally relies on instinct. You are a blind martial artist, and despite your young age, you are talented. You met the party at a Tournament and easily brought down the Hero of the party.

The main character's girlfriend in name only, who follows the party but doesn't participate in anything but story scenes, until halfway through the game when her true love appears and she leaves the group.

Nice. I likey. You are the Hero's best friend, who helped her get over the death of her father, and accidentally gave her the dream of making a map of the whole world.

The true love of the girl (me) who appears and is able to make her swoon over you. You are overjoyed when she leaves with you to live a happy life.

The shipowner of the small weapons hop where the hero was raised after his father's death. You raised her as your own and felt deeply for her because you lost your mother in a war.

Anyways she is back from the dead to avenge the holy temple of some kindo f order. An interesting twist of fate to meet an undead like her. She is fiercely independent and single minded but does much to help out the team as they progress through fighting her and also giving away free tips and useful items.

An avenging angel who opposes the party because they do things that aren't natural, despite it being best for the world overall.

A blind were-cat shaman warrior girl O.o

The apprentice of the dark lord who hopes to overthrow him and take his rule.

The older versin of a main hero who started his journey as a child.

@Drakath: The sickly friend of the main hero who helps him/her since the beginning of the quest. Cautious to the point of being fearful but highly insightful the hero appreciates Drakath's company for more than just skills as their friendship runs deep. In the game there is a moral system which can cause the two to part ways. Yet she will always try to call out to the friend she once knew.

D'awwww. that was wonderful.

The friend of Drakath, who watches out for her and protects her. You are loyal and once we part ways you regret having to watch her walk away. You are powerful and want to protect not just your dear friend but the world itself. You are selfless and kind.

An avenging angel created fromt he soul of a wife of a famous swordsman. Although not skilled during her lifetime in death he ability surpasses his as she relentlessly hunts down and torments those directly responsible for so much evil. Particularly relating to the death of herself and her family.

The blind hero's guardian spirit who protects him from curses and death, though you tend to forget to resurrect him in boss battles...or in any battle in general, and only seem to use your powers to protect hm from death in cut scenes where it is plot relevant.

The mystery character that randomly saves everyone's butt (on more than one instance) and never gives a full answer. ^^

The summon on the moon who is hard to aquire but uber powerful and can do hone hit KO's on most bosses.

The mage girl who eager to help out the party because the protagonist saved her life.

The merc who is rather stoic and rude but had a strong sense of justice.

The mischievous half human half dragon who always take that one important item that you have to trek through the game to get back.

The NPC who you help and disappears after you do so, but gives you a blessing.

The trouble making kid who tends to give the village a hard time whenever possbie. His actions eventually jeopardize the world.

The schizophrenic neutral character who helps out the heroes and the villains, because his dual sides can't decide which he wants to side with permanently, and eventually reaches a mental breakdown and decides to try to kill everyone. Is eventually stopped by both sides combined because of her tremendous power.

A secret character that you can obtain in your party through a long, multi-quest and specific actions throughout the game.

The antisocial guardian angel of the party who indulges in childish things, and prefers not to talk unless it's necessary.

The famous Hero know world wide who lets his fame get to his head and becomes slowly corrupted that he loses himself in his own indulgences and jeapordizes the world. Rather than trying to rectify the problem he causes his pride causes him to essentially turn evil.

The Lunarian who comes to Earth to help the party because he's actually the protagonist's ancestor. I didn't just totally rip off FFIV.
