Where I live there aren't a lot of places to work as I'm in a small farming town, so there aren't any malls or anything. In town we have a few shops like a pharmacy and grocery store, a couple banks... that sorta thing. Nothing all that expansive though so there are a lot of limitations when it comes to work. I'm looking into some options that would allow me to work from home though, as I have to think of some other alternatives to make my money. My sister does a job on the side of her regular day job where she is a sales rep for all natural products, and I'm going to see about getting signed up for that. I'll have to see if it works out for me though as it's not for everyone but I won't know until I give it a shot...

So today I was playing New Super Mario Bros with Cale and our nephews (9 and 19 years old). I've come to realize that playing a co-op game with a 9 year old who only cares about him getting the items and making it to the end, even if that means brutally killing your team-mates, really sucks! Oh well though, it kept us entertained for a while I guess.

I just don't feel like I know how to go looking for a job. v.v

It's pretty good as a job. It can be a bit dull though since it is just "cookie in tray" all day.

Waiting for unemployment compensation makes me a bit nervous.

I'm on EI (employment insurance) right now. It kinda sucks, it's about $200 less than I was making every two weeks when I did have a job. So trying to keep up with bills and the mortgage and everything is kinda tough. Cale has a job and we split everything but still, I had to downsize our budget by about $400 a month so... it's not easy!

$400 a month? Wow! That is quite a bit. I hope that goes OK.

I know nothing of computers, so unfortunately I cannot help. Cale tends to fix my computers but he probably would have to look at it to fix it... and we're in Canada lol. But as DK said, Trisphee is still here, we love you, and we really do care when you post! -big hugs-

If you get an external hard drive (which I highly recommend doing anyway) and take that and your old HD to a computer store or Best Buy, they could probably save all your important data over to the external one. Externals usually hook up to a computer via USB port, which is pretty handy. They're a lot like flash drives, except with a lot more storage space.

I LOVE my external drive owo I just wish it weren't so bulky xD I need to get a travel size xp

Spore and Portal are good, but I wouldn't suggest Portal if you don't have an itchy trigger finger... or a decent processor.
