Ugh. Decided to spend my lunch break doing cleaning instead of eating anything because my landlords sent a message about needing to enter to investigate a leak that might have been coming from my apartment and now I'm all paranoid because my place is kinda gross (I've been really lax about cleaning lately xP) and I worry they may use my messy kitchen and bedroom as an excuse to evict me...

I mean, I don't think they legally can unless it's so bad that it's causing complaints from neighbors probably but I'm still really paranoid. And, while the empty cat litter containers have piled up a bit and I do need to take out the kitchen trash pretty badly and the sink/dish situation is bad enough to scar a normal person for life, it's not actually as bad as it could be and is actually marginally better than it was a couple months ago.
But no excuses, this weekend is a deep cleaning weekend for real.

realized i may be in withdrawal from my antidepressants. thankfully it's not my first go on this carousel, so i've actually been relatively stable.
figured this out because i realized 'hey, zoloft makes it so i can actually get to sleep, i should probably see if the insomnia i've been getting while off of these is related to withdrawal' and searched it up.
i did not get to see the sunrise today.

been getting wild amounts of insomnia, then sleeping in the fucking day.

Am all full of the stress and frustrations at work today.
So when I took the promotion to full time, I was handed control of the book sale shelves. (Books that we are removing due to low circulation, but that look like they might sell, get snagged by...well, me now, and are sold for $1.)
And I was given helpful tips and minor information on how to run it and basically told "this is how it has been done, but it's yours now so do whatever you want". And then today the boss is all "you should put out more than 10 books on the shelves when you fill them" (okay so when I fill them, I usually put 15-20 books per shelf each time so yeah..) and basically just passive-aggressivly telling me that I'm doing it wrong.

Want it done your way? Then maybe show me how you want it done instead of saying I can do it how I want and then criticizing it.

Having vented to a coworker and gotten a decent night's sleep, I am less cranky about yesterday.

Also...tried a blackberry habanero latte at a local coffee place. It is a delicious mistake. And also a good idea for a little april fool's joke on a coworker tomorrow as it's my day to buy coffee for our little 2 person "coffee club"... >.>

i was informed, on boot, that the sexy battery in this sexy laptop may need to be replaced soon.

i check hwinfo. there is 0% wear level on this battery.
i get a battery report running. everything seems normal.

bitch. i do not have the time or energy to replace a battery.

mood, re: my phone

i understand it's an iphone 7 and i should really get a new phone especially since support for 7 will end around november, but

i'm pretty certain it's this laptop being a massive dick tbh.

also, i managed to get rayman 2 working. only issue: it causes my graphics card to throw an absolute shitfit because it tends to be at a pretty small resolution. additionally, rayman 2 is an older game. specifically, from 1999.

i'm not expecting it to be compatible with most modern PCs. i got it working well enough, and it runs perfectly fine.

the camera is absolute shit, and so is the level geometry.

I'm doing a challenge called Escapril where you write a poem each day based on a prompt.
Yesterday's prompt was limbs, and today's is 'strange behavior'.
May I just say me writing poems with most of these prompts already is? xD

managed to somehow complete most of rayman 3.

i'm going to make a thread specifically dedicated to rambling about rayman and the rayman series as a whole, but i don't want to end up breaking the forum rule about triple-posting.

My future just seems so completely blank. Or has been currently. I need a project as a distraction, but everything that might be appealing is costly.
