Nope. Not at all.

Antigone 09-29-2010 07:12 PM

*giggles*

Its closer to An-tig-go-knee

if that makes any sense.

Gozed 09-29-2010 07:18 PM

I think I got it now... Although I like Anti-gone. :P

johnny 09-29-2010 07:18 PM

The 'e' is pronounced at the end.

Like how you pronounce "Aphrodite".

:<

Antigone 09-29-2010 07:19 PM

Yeah What johnny said.
I'm never good at typing out pronunciations..
Anti Gone is alright I guess.
But that means Unbending. XD
Last I checked my joints are pretty bendy ^^

I never really learned how to sound out words... I just memorized how a lot of words would sound, and I try to just combine them, not using individual letters.

But now I know how to pronounce Antigone.

Also hi Hoopy.

Antigone 09-29-2010 07:24 PM

*Rolls about*
My foot fell asleep.

johnny 09-29-2010 07:26 PM

Yo, Frood. :B

Generally, I could read words before I could pronounce them. I knew the word "epitome" for about ten years before I stopped reading it as "eppi-tome" and realized it was "ep-i-to-mee". xD

Antigone 09-29-2010 07:28 PM

Heh. Yeah, though now its much different I couldn't read a single word until I was 8 years old.
But math I started doing long division before I was even in school.
o.o

Gozed 09-29-2010 07:34 PM

Thats neat Antigone.

Antigone 09-29-2010 07:39 PM

I guess so. But it was really terrible in elementary school. Unable to read, I was always picked on by the other kids for it.

AceValkyrie 09-29-2010 08:03 PM
