I had one of those for a couple days.

Den 12-13-2019 03:09 AM

I'm gonna be paying attention for unexpected pain from that area for the next few days. funny thing though, turns out my uterus is naturally curved, kinda like it's been squished down from the top.

Tam I am 12-13-2019 04:11 AM

Huh.

I just hope you don't wind up with labour pains, like I got. I am SO glad that I will NEVER have kids.

So I'm past the three-day mark. aside from some minor cramping that happened in the car on the way home and for about an hour after, I haven't had any pain or cramps.

...I feel like I want to kick you on the butt. Hopefully, you remember how little anger is actually in my opinion of kicking people on the butt. LOL It's just minor envy. But I'm really glad you're okay and it's working, too.

I go for my follow-up next month, so I'mma also bring up the stuff with my boobs and the rashes from sweating and all that junk, and ask about either top surgery or a reduction to an A cup.

I'm really starting to long for removal of the plumbing. I'm getting sick of periods lasting over a week, and getting heavier again on like, the ninth day.

Den 12-16-2019 07:52 PM

Maybe look into the implant?

Tam I am 12-17-2019 09:01 PM

Don't know. The doctor didn't think I was on the safe list for anything with hormones. And... wughhhh. I'm shivering at the thought and mentally rubbing my arm.

Let me tell you, this feeling emotions and things? Is worse than a roller coaster, but also better. Even though at times it also makes me want to urp.

Fair point. Better to be safe, than sorry. Also, no reason for you to get a copper IUD, for similar reasons to me (in other words: not participating in the activity that would cause need for that).

Moving on... been almost a week since the IUD got put in. no issues so far.

Stabbsworth 12-18-2019 12:38 PM

would it be possible for you to get on birth control, tam?

ngl, i do want to get the whole uterus thing removed at some point because periods are a fucking pain in the ass, but, y'know, i don't exactly get bad cramping? like, the most i'll get is a weird sort of ache in the first couple of days but it's mostly able to be tuned out.

...the nhs refuses to remove it unless i'm in my late forties or have tumors, though.

Yay for no issues. And the copper IUD the doctor tried me with was for trying to stop the unending period.

No, because I see stars too often. Means the birth control would put me at a risk of stroke.

Speaking of periods, THIS (deleted word) WON'T END.

Den 12-19-2019 03:23 AM

Copper IUDs are usually just used for birth control...

Yep, sounds about right. Think being on T should alleviate some of the monthly stupidity, but uh. Errrrr. Parents.

Tam I am 12-19-2019 10:32 PM

The doctor said it'd regulate or clear out the period too, Den.

Den 12-20-2019 12:19 AM

but without hormones, that doesn't make sense to me.
