Yeah, and I just found out mum is trying to short me on petrol for the truck again this week.

why she doing that?

She put only $30 worth of petrol in it. It's at a little under half a tank, and it's supposed to get me across town and back 4 times until the next time she fills it up.

Yeah, try telling that to my mum. *sigh* Looks like I'm not eating in the cafeteria again this week. Gonna have to pack lunch instead.

Normally I can get to about Thursday on that much, but only if I go straight from taking brother to school on to class, and then picking him up and coming straight home afterwards. This week, though, I have to pick up a friend and take her to class as well since her car is broken.

Perhaps ask your friend for a little towards the gas

Yeah, I'm going to do that if she doesn't offer. Granted, she might just offer to buy me food instead... which I would be cool with.
