Ah, then I'd have no clue, all I know is Night wants to do a persona costume that involves plaid pants...

NikkoGallarado 02-07-2012 12:26 PM

Yeah that's from Persona 4. XD

:: smiles and nods::
you say these things and I don't think i'll retain them...I just know the new anime made night squee for reference shots

NikkoGallarado 02-07-2012 12:30 PM

The anime is joy but it's not something I can get into. -_-;;;;

meh, I've not gotten into any new animes in a looooong time. They all go too fast from their parent materials and then get weird.

NikkoGallarado 02-07-2012 12:34 PM

many have done that and it is quiet sad that it happens that way.

but sadly I don't even know if I have a favourite manga I'd want to...oh, I lie...if they made Noblesse into an anime I'd watch it on repeat every day. Every. Day.

I'm a plus size cosplayer and I have been to many cons including Tokyo in Tulsa, A2F, and Dragon con.
This year I'm working on a new outfit based on the medicine seller from Mononoke. Not to be confused with Princess Mononoke.

Fey 02-07-2012 12:49 PM

Sweet! I'm hitting Dragoncon for the first time this year(well, not really first, but first as a cosplayer).

I can give you some tips:

1.If someone asked for you picture say yes(or if you don't want to just say no but in a good way not a bad way) and ask them if they are going to post it online like Facebook, Photobucket, ect. Ask for their username so you can find the photo to download on your computer.

2. Wear good shoes, I know it is five hotels but better on your feet then you. And take breaks walking around if you can drink lots of water if you can they should have coolers around the con.

3. Have fun, even if no one gets your outfit you did something cool and maybe it will become a trend later on you may never know.

4. Oh and shower if you can you will be sweating all day in that outfit trust me.

Fey 02-07-2012 01:08 PM

LOL thanks for the tips, I do most of those things already I'm a oooooooold pro at cons. And long ago, in a galaxy far far away I lived in Atlanta, so I'm just hoping the humidity doesn't kill me. Lessee, in the past I've done:
Oyahocon
SDCC
Fanime
Anime Expo
Nan Desu Kan
Starfest
Animeland Wasabi
MileHi Con

The last four are all local CO cons, and this year we're getting our own DCC so I'm sorta ridiculously excited!

As to costumes, I've no idea what I'm taking anywhere this year @.@ I figure Viola will go everywhere once I'm done with her, and Lotte might...nah, probably won't go out of state with her. But I've got a closet to choose from so I'll see what appeals.

Princess Mononoke was such a good movie. <3

ironically it failed to do the job it was meant to do which was prevent disney from buying the US rights to Studio Ghibli....
