I wish mom would do that shit that one guy suggested....so our central air will cool like it's supposed to.

open upstairs vents and partiall close lower ones? or change the filter? or maybe clean the return ducts?

Up stairs has no vents. We recently changed the filter. I have no idea what a return duct is.

But the suggested was-plastic on the windows...black out curtains...and get better insulation.
