One of my friends recommended freeze-dried bloodworms that have been wetted but not soaked, to feed the wee beasties once they've grown... I've also got the instructions for the kit I was sent...

According to the best instructions I've read, you're better not to feed them. Potting soil is always more nutritious than bog soil, so they don't need it.
